How do I install the Aspes ACE648X kitchen hood?
Installation should be done by a qualified technician. Ensure the hood is at least 65 cm above gas hobs and 50 cm above electric hobs. Use the provided template and fix securely to the wall. For recirculation mode, install the charcoal filter.
How do I clean the grease filter?
The aluminum grease filter is dishwasher-safe. Remove it by pulling the handle and wash in dishwasher at low temperature, or hand wash with mild detergent. Dry completely before reinserting. Clean every 2 months.
How do I replace the carbon filter?
Only use if recirculation mode. Open the grease filter, remove the used carbon filter, and insert a new one. The carbon filter should be replaced every 3-6 months depending on usage.
How do I change the LED bulb?
Disconnect power. Remove the lamp cover by gently prying it off. Pull out the defective LED and push in a new one of the same type (3W, G4 base). Reattach the cover.
Why is my hood not extracting properly?
Check if the grease filter is clogged, clean it. Ensure the carbon filter if installed is not saturated. Verify ducting is not blocked. Also check that the motor speed is set correctly.
