How to transfer music to the Sunstech MEDUSA player?
Connect the player to a computer via the USB cable. The device appears as an external drive. Copy your MP3 files into a folder (e.g., 'Music'). Then safely disconnect it.
The battery doesn't hold charge, what to do?
Try fully charging the player (about 2 hours). If the problem persists, the battery may be worn out. Contact customer service for a replacement.
How to adjust the volume?
Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the side of the player to increase or decrease volume. Hold them down for quick adjustment.
The player does not turn on, what to do?
Make sure it is charged. Plug it into a USB source for at least 30 minutes. If no signs of life, try resetting it: hold the 'Reset' button (if present) with a paperclip or press and hold the power button.

Some versions of the MEDUSA include an FM radio. Access it via the menu. Plug in headphones which act as an antenna. Search for stations automatically.

The songs are out of order, how to sort them?
The player displays files in the order they were copied. On the computer, rename files with a number (01, 02...) or use tag management software to include a track number.
How to reset the player to factory settings?
In the 'Settings' menu, look for 'Reset' or 'Factory reset'. Confirm to erase all personal settings. Note: music files will not be deleted.
The sound is choppy or of poor quality, why?

3. Battery Level

The power displays full. With the increase the battery indicator will be reduced.

When the battery is almost /completely run icon will be completely white and the unit should be charged to through of the mini USB.

4. Basic Functions

A. Volume Adjust

Press the VOL key to enter the volume selection, short press Next / Last button to increase or decrease the volume.

B. Switch on/off

Press and hold Play to switch on when the player is off. Press and hold Play to switch off when the player is on.

C. Play & Pause; exit from submenu

On music mode, Press Play to play music.

When playing music, press Play to pause; press and hold to stop playing.

5. Play music

A. Simple actions

  1. Plug earphones into earphone outlet.
  2. Press and hold Play to switch the player on, then enter Music Mode and press Play to play music.
  3. Select a Track: Last: Previous Track;

Next: Next Track.

B. Equalizer Mode

  1. When playing music
  2. Press MODE to enter in submenu
  3. Push Next choosing Equalizer Mode;
  4. Press Mode to entry 'Equalizer Mode' submenu.
  5. Detail of each equalizer (EQ):
    Natural, Rock, Pop, Classical, Soft, Jazz, DBB
  6. Push Next to select an EQ and press Mode to confirm.

C. Synchronous Lyric Display

The player supports lyric files with *.LRC suffix, and displays synchronously.

Please make sure the lyric has the same name as the music file. Press MODE and hold for a few seconds.

A. Recording in "Record mode"

  1. Enter the main menu:

  3. Push Mode to select Record mod, screen will display as below:

Press Play to start / pause recording.

Press Mode for a few seconds to save the recording.

B. Select Record Type

  1. When in the interface of 'Record stop'
  2. Press Mode to enter record submenu

  4. Auto search "20 pressets maximum"
    Hold Last/Next 2 seconds to start the channel search in 100 KHz interval upwards or downwards. To stop tuning, push Last/Next.

    Push Last: Downward 100 KHz
    Push Next: Upward 100 KHz
  6. Save current channel:
    Push Mode to enter FM submenu
    Press Mode again to save channel.
  7. Listening to a saved channel:
    You can press Play to choose a saved channel.

This function is only available for JPEG and BMP format.

  1. In the main menu, press Last/Next choosing Browsing pictures.
  2. Press Mode to enter corresponding submenu.
  3. Press Last or Next choosing the document you want to read, then press Play to play it.
  4. In stop mode we have a submenu.

14. Using USB Disk

The player is also a standard USB disk. Supported by Windows / Mac/XP.

The player supports USB power supply, can be used without using

the battery when connected to a PC. To enter, when in' waiting mode' press Mode return to main menu and choose the operation you need.

When connected to PC, The player works on the three modes below:

A. Play mode (Play submenu)

You can choose different play mode (repeat, shuffle) when playing music or recorded files.

The first option on Play submenu is 'Play mode'

- REPEAT: Normal, Repeat One, Folder, Repeat Folder, Rep Random, Intro.

B. Replay mode (Play submenu)

Enter from Play submenu:

○ A-B Repeat

  1. When play music or recorder
  2. Push Mode to entry play submenu
  3. Push Next scrolling into 'Repeat Mode' option
  4. Push Mode to enter

Repeat Mode: 'A' of Symbol flashes, waiting for starter

  1. Push Next to select 'A'

'B' of symbol flashes, waiting ender B

  1. Push Next to select B. Symbol fixed and starting repeat between A-B, while playing,

you can push Last to reset A point.
