Thank you for purchasing the INNOLIVING electric rice cooker, a valid tool for preparing rice-based dishes.

Before use, carefully read all the instructions and keep this manual safe for future reference.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS

1. Before use, verify that the power supply voltage matches the one indicated on the rating label.
2. The power cord must be removed before cleaning the product. Make sure that the device is completely dry before using the rice cooker.
3. This product can be used by children over 8 years of age and by people with reduced physical, mental or sensory abilities, or without experience and knowledge if under supervision or if they have received instructions for the safe use of the appliance and they understood the related dangers. Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children unless they are at least 8 years old and supervised. Keep the product and its power cord away from children under the age of 8.
4. This product is not a toy. Make sure that children do not play with the appliance.
5. If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its authorized service agent or qualified staff in order to avoid any danger.
6. This product is designed for HOUSEHOLD use only. It must not be used in private cooking areas

in shops, offices and other workplaces, on farms, by hotel guests, motels, bed and breakfasts and other professional environments and similar locations.

10. Steam can escape from the lid during use. Place the lid so that the steam is directed away from the user.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE RICE COOKERS

1. Before starting cooking, ensure that no food remains between the hot plate and the bottom of the container. Keep the appliance and the heating plate clean and free of any foreign material, see paragraph "CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE".
2. Avoid bumping or dropping the container. Any deformation of the container could compromise the correct operation of the appliance.
3. Do not turn the appliance on without having inserted the cooking container first.
4. Do not block the steam outlet opening with any object.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

HOW TO USE

• Before using the product for the first time, carefully clean the container, the tray, the cup and the spoon, see paragraph "CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE".
• Pour the desired amount of rice inside the container using the specific measuring cup (minimum quantity: 4 cups).
• Once the rice has been poured into the container, fill the container with water until the corresponding indication (CUP) is reached. For example, if you want to cook 4 cups of rice, you will have to fill the container with water until you reach the level corresponding to 4 (0.6).
• Place the rice cooker on a flat and stable surface and insert the container inside the appliance making sure that the container is positioned perfectly in contact with the heating plate.
• Place the lid.
• Connect the power cord to the mains.
  • The keep-warm indicator lights up.
• Lower the control lever to start the cooking process. At this point, the cooking indicator lights up.
  • After finishing cooking, the cooking indicator goes out and the keep-warm indicator turns on automatically.

Note: For best results, stir the rice only after the keep-warm indicator has lightened up. Stir the rice with the special provided spoon in

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• The product external surface can be cleaned by using a soft cloth damped in water.
• Do not use abrasive detergents or sharp tools to clean the appliance.
• Wash the container, the tray, the lid, the measuring cup and the hand spoon by using a mild detergent.
