The following safety precautions must be taken when installing and using your electric water heater.

1. To avoid electric shock, fire or injury, please read the user manual carefully before using the appliance and keep it for future reference.

Also after the occasion mentioned above, please ensure the water heater is fully filled with water by turning the mixer tap to the right side (with red dot) until water flow out from the shower head then keep the water flowing out for 5 minutes.

1. Please do not use the water heater during suspension or intermittent supply of water.

1. The shower hose and the shower head are designed as a vent for the water heater. During the heating process, water drops from the shower head is a normal phenomenon. Therefore, please do not install any valve on or bend the shower hose.

1. The heater must be connected with its own specific power source, which must be installed in compliance with local wiring, earthing and safety regulation.

1. Depending on local regulation and your specific installation, you may need to install:

▶ A suitable loading circuit breaker.
▶ An earth leak circuit breaker.

1. Make sure that, the unit is correctly and properly installed at all time.

Do not place clothing or other materials over it.

1. NEVER spill liquid of any kind into the unit, should this happen, turn off the power and contact with the authorized service center for service.

1. Always ensure that the power cord is in good condition. If the power cord is damaged in any way, it must be replaced by an authorized technician.

Do not use an extension cord with other appliance.

1. Under no circumstances should the shower hose, shower head and the mixer tap to be replaced by non genuine products. Otherwise, it will affect the safety of the water heater and damage its major components.

1. Do not connect massage shower head to water heater.

1. A switch is intended to disconnect the water heater from the supply, should disconnect all poles and should have a contact separation of at least 3mm (Complied with IEC/BSEN standard). And the switch must be installed outside the bathroom.

WARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED. Manufacturer or agent shall not be held responsible for damages resulted from incorrect installation or misuse of heater.

WARNING: The water heater outlet acts as a vent and must not be connected to any tap or fitting other than those recommended by manufacture.

CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.

1. Do not use the Temperature Control as an ON/OFF switch. It is only recommended for Summer/Winter adjustments.

1. If the water heaters have taken the tank cleaning or under repair, it should be drained. Firstly, turn off the electric supply and switch off the water heater. Then open the cold water valve for cold water fill in the tank. After the hot water drain out, use spanner to nut and loosen it. Then water will drain out from the cold water inlet until empty.

1. When using the electric water heater, the water pressure should not be greater than 1.0MPa, and the flow rate should not be greater than 8 litres per minute. Otherwise inner tank of the water heater will be damaged.

1. Make sure the installation of the water heater is absolutely correct and stable;

1. The appliance with manual cut-out, to reset the cut-out, the power should be off.

1. A minimum clearance of 150cm between the floor and the appliance if it is wall-mounted.

1. The appliances using flexible water tube should notice that the tube cannot be reused when it is replaced with a new one the manual.

1. Fix the wall-mount bracket on the wall by screw. Position the water heater with 170cm from the ground.

1. Hang the water heater onto the wall-mount bracket.

1. Connect the water supply to the water inlet of water mixer. You should find the Cold Water Valve with a Blue dot indication on the left, and the hot water valve with a Red dot on the right.

1. Position the water mixer with about 150cm from the ground.

1. Check all Pipe connections for leakage and turn on the water supply. Turn on the ‘Hot Water Valve’ to fill up the water heater with water.

Caution: The Cold Water Valve must be closed during the process.

Caution: For safety, all electrical installation must be carried out by qualified technicians.

Always inspect the power cord and must be replaced by qualified technicians in case of damage.

Caution: Do not switch on Electrical Supply to the Water Heater until it is completely filled.

1. In the case of a 3kW rated unit, a 15Amp. Double Pole Linked switch with neon light must be provided and installed at the entrance to the shower area to enable termination of electrical supply to the water heater when necessary. Electrical supply to the water heater must be connected to an individual fuse or circuit breaker of 15 Amp. In the main fuse board. The water heater should be permanently connected to the fixed wiring of the installation.

1. Make sure the water heater is filled with water before turn on the power.

2. When the water temperature reaches the preset level, 'Yellow' indicator will light. 待黃色顯示燈亮起時，表示水溫已達到預校溫度。
3. Always turn the cold water tap "ON" first. Turn the hot water tap "ON" slowly to get a warm stream of water from the shower or tap. 用水時一定先開冷水掣，再續步扭開熱水掣調和水溫至適用程度。
