Is the Pyle PHIT84BK compatible with all iPhone models?

The PHIT84BK is compatible with most iPhones and iPods with a Lightning connector. For older models with a 30-pin connector, an adapter may be needed. Bluetooth streaming is available for any Bluetooth-enabled device.

How do I pair my phone with the docking station via Bluetooth?

BATTERIES INSTALLATION (REMOTE CONTROL)

1. Slide and lift the battery door as figure 1 below.
2. Install 2 (two) AAA size batteries (included) into the battery compartment as the polarity markings inside as figure 2 below.
3. Replace the battery door as figure 3 below.

BATTERY PRECAUTIONS:

Follow these precautions when using a battery in this device:

1. Use only the size and type of battery specified.
2. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the battery as indicated in the battery compartment. A reversed battery may cause damage to the device.
3. Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline and Carbon-zinc) or old batteries with fresh ones.
4. If the batteries in the device are consumed or the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage or injury from possible battery leakage.
5. Do not try to recharge the battery not intended to be recharged; it can overheat and rupture. (Follow battery manufacturer's instructions.)
6. The batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
7. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation

EFFECTIVE DISTANCE OF REMOTE TRANSMITTER

NOTES:

• When there is an obstacle between the unit and the transmitter, the transmitter may not operate.
• When direct sunlight, an incandescent lamp, fluorescent lamp or any other strong light shines on the REMOTE SENSOR of the unit, the remote operation may be unstable.

GENERAL OPERATION

1. Press the POWER Switch on the rear of unit to ON position to power on the unit. The STANDBY Indicator will turn on.
2. Press the STANDBY Button on the unit or Remote Control to turn on the unit from standby mode. The STANDBY Indicator will turn off but the LCD Display will turn on.
3. Press the SOURCE Button on the unit or Remote Control repeatedly to select the input source as the connections to AUX 1 (LCD shows "AUX1"); AUX 2 (LCD shows "AUX2"); iPod/iPhone (LCD shows "IPOD") or Radio FM mode (LCD shows current FM station's frequency).
4. Press the VOL (Volume) +/- Buttons to adjust volume level.
5. Press the BASS +/- Buttons on the Remote Control to increase/decrease the bass level.
6. Press the MUTE Button on the Remote Control to turn off the sound temporary, press again to turn the sound back on.
7. When finished, press the STANDBY Button on the unit or Remote Control to turn the unit off (standby mode).
8. If the unit is not used for a long period of time, turn off the unit by press the Power ON/OFF Switch on the rear of unit to OFF position.

SYSTEM CONNECTIONS

Listening to music from external audio device or iPod/iPhone:

1. Plug the iPod/iPhone to the iPod/iPhone docking. Or, Connect the external audio device such as MP3 Player to the AUX 2 Jack on the top of unit as the figure below.
2. Power on the unit, press the SOURCE Button repeatedly to set to AUX 2 or iPod/Phone as the connection.
3. Play the music in the connected audio device or iPod/iPhone as usual.

To watch video files in the connected iPod/iPhone:

1. Connect the external TV to the Video Out Jack on the rear of unit as the figure below (connection cable not included).
2. Set the TV to AV 1 or AV 2 modes as connection.
3. Plug the iPod/iPhone to the iPod/iPhone docking on the top of unit.
4. Press the source button repeatedly until "IPOD" appear on the display.
5. Play the video files in the connected iPod/iPhone as usual (Make sure it is set to TV out. For details, please refer to the iPod/iPhone's User's Manual).

To listen to music from TV; DVD Player; VCR or DVR.

1. Connect the external TV/DVD/VCR/DVR to the AUX 1. Jack on the rear of unit as the figure above (connection cable not included).
2. Power on the connected external device and play video/music as usual
3. Power on the unit, press the SOURCE Button repeatedly until AUX 1 Indicator is light.

LISTEN TO IPOD/IPHONE

1. When iPod or iPhone is connected, it will recharge automatically.
2. Power on the unit as specified previously, press the SOURCE Button on the unit or Remote Control repeatedly until "IPOD" appear on the display. The unit will start playback automatically.
3. During playback the music/video files from iPod or iPhone:

A. Press the Skip/Fast Search ➤ or ➕ Buttons repeatedly to skip the tracks forward/backward.
B. Press and hold the Skip/Fast Search ▶ or ▶ to fast search the specific section of the track forward/backward.
C. Press the REPEAT Button on the Remote Control to set repeat modes, corresponding icons will appear on the connected iPod/iPhone s display.
D. Press the RANDOM Button on the Remote Control to turn the random playback mode on or off, corresponding icons will appear on the connected iPod/iPhone's display.
E. Press the MENU Button on the Remote Control, the setting menu will appear on the

connected iPod/iPhone's display. Using the Direction ▲ /▼; Skip/Fast Search▶,◀Buttons to move the cursor within the display, press the ENTER Button to confirm the selections.

LISTEN TO FM RADIO

Extend the FM antenna wire on the rear of the unit and adjust it to get the best reception.

1) Power ON the unit as previously indicated.
2) Press the SOURCE button on the unit or remote control repeatedly until FM frequency appears on the display.
3) Press or button on remote control repeatedly to search the specific radio station. (Or, press and hold the or button 1 second then release the button. The unit will auto search the next or previous available radio station then stop).
4) To store the current received radio station into the memory. Press the M/M button on the Remote Control, CH XX will appear on the display. Press the CH+/CH- Buttons on the Remote Control repeatedly to select channel number as desire. Press the M button again to store the current radio station into the selected channel (Total 20 FM stations can be preset into the memory).
5) To listen the preset channels, press the CH+/CH- buttons on the Remote Control or the ○ Button on the unit repeatedly to the desired channel.
6) Press the REPEAT/ST Button on the remote control repeatedly to set the radio to stereo or mono mode. STEREO or MONO will appear on the display.
