Use distilled water. Distilled water or filtered water is preferred over tap water. Tap water is not recommended because it will require more frequent cleaning and possible white minerals/dust being dispersed into the air. Tap water is chlorinated, making it difficult for bacteria to grow. Using mineral water, alkaline ionized water, well water, or water from a water purifier can cause mold and bacteria to grow easily, increase water scale, and cause odors.
-
Replace the water in the water tank and water tank with fresh distilled water every day. Regularly clean the inside of the main unit to keep it clean. If you use the product without cleaning it, mold and bacteria will grow due to the dirt and water scale, which will cause odors. In rare cases, depending on your constitution, you may react hyper sensitively and harm your health. In such cases, consult your doctor.

CLEANING
The use of distilled water during use is strongly recommended.
There will be mineral deposits on the atomizer, particularly if the water in your area is hard or softened. These mineral deposits will greatly decrease performance if allowed to dry or build up. If mineral deposits are allowed to dry and harden on the atomizer or inside of the water basin, cleaning will be more difficult and possible permanent damage. Please use only water and vinegar to clean, the white center of atomizer is made of ceramic so harsh chemicals will damage it.
- Throw away the remaining water in the water basin and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
- Clean the water tank and water basin once a week during regular use, especially when using essential oils.
- If the water shut-off valve on the bottom of the water tank is clogged with dust, it may cause water leakage. Rotate the water shut-off valve spring shaft on the back of the water supply tank with your finger, and clean it carefully with a cotton swab. Be sure the metal spring on the water shut-off valve is not distorted before refilling the water tank.
Do not remove screws from the bottom of the tank!

Be sure the metal spring on the water shut-off valve is not distorted before use.
Bottom of Water Tank
- Use a vacuum cleaner adapter or can of air to remove dust from the air intake on bottom of the base.
- Apart from the electrical controls and when the unit is on, any part of the humidifier may be wiped with a soft cloth and buffed with a dry cloth, ensuring the unit is unplugged.
- Use a cotton swab to clean the mist outlet and the water shut-off valve.
- Remove the floater and use the included cleaning brush or a soft cloth soaked with water and vinegar to gently clean the atomizer.
- After cleaning, put the floater back in place, fill the water tank with water, and check that there are no leaks before using.

NOTE: DO NOT clean tank in the dishwasher.
WARNING:
• After removing the water tank, do not touch the metal parts inside the main unit. Doing so may cause injury or malfunction.
- Be sure to turn off the power, unplug the AC adapter from the outlet, and discard the water in the main body before cleaning.
• After cleaning, be sure to put each part back to its original position.
