USER MANUAL TC 1680 Glemm

Audio horn speaker operating both at 8Ω and 70/100V, intended for PA systems.

The high quality of the components used for its construction guarantees an excellent acoustic performance.

The installation of this product must be carried out exclusively by specialized technicians, skilled in electric and audio systems. In case of wrong installation or connections, the manufacturer doesn't take any responsibility for damages to people or objects.

Before starting the installation, make sure that the amplifier is turned off. There could be a dangerous voltage on the connection terminals during operation.

Read and follow strictly the instructions contained in this manual. Do not open the product, do not disassemble and don't try to operate inside it. Do not allow water flammable liquids or metal objects to enter the product. In the event of a serious operating problem, stop using the product immediately. Never try to repair it by yourself, but contact the authorized technical service center. Use the supplied speaker for wall mounting and to adjust the speaker's tilting

A. 70V / 100V wiring

If you wish to connect the speaker to a constant voltage system, connect the common wire to the "COM" socket of the amplifier and the power wire to the 100V terminal of the amplifier. The power of the built-in transformer can be set on different powers. Use the back switch to select the desired power.

It is possible to connect several speakers in parallel, as shown in the fig. "1". Remember to consider the corret section of the cables you use, according to the distance of the speakers from the amplifier.

B. 16Ω wiring

To connect the speaker to a constant voltage system, place the back selector on 16 Ohm, then insert the RED wire into the COM socket of the amplifier and the BLACK wire into the 16 Ohm socket. If you connect more than one speaker make sure that the impedance remains within the 16 Ohm range.

Consider carefully the power of the speakers and of the amplifier where they are connected: the total power of the speakers must not exceed the amplifier's power.

Warning: This horn speaker is designed also for outdoor use, but in this case it is recommended to place it under a shelter to protect it from a long exposure to direct rain.
