STYLING TIPS. HAIR DRYING BASICS
-
Use shampoo and hair conditioner, and rinse thoroughly. Towel dry hair to remove excess moisture. Divide hair into sections and, using the blow dryer in conjunction with a styling brush, direct the hot air through one section of hair at a time. Direct the air steadily over each section so that it passes through the hair. The flow should be aimed at the hair, not the scalp.
-
Keep the vents clear of obstructions and free from hair during use.
-
To avoid over-drying, do not concentrate heat for an extended period of time but use continuous movements when styling.
-
For quick styling, moisten hair with a mist of water before styling with a hairdryer.
-
When using the hair dryer to create curls and waves, dry the hair almost completely using the hottest temperature setting, followed by the lowest setting. In this way the fold will be well fixed.
-
