Thank you for purchasing the KHN-FI12IKIT hand blender, a very useful tool in the kitchen for creating soups and sauces.
Before use:
- Carefully read all the warnings and instructions for use and keep this manual for future consultation.
- Wash the components and accessories: see the “Care and Cleaning” section.
- Remove all packing materials.
SAFETY STANDARDS AND WARNINGS
- Before using the appliance, carefully read the instructions for use and in particular the safety warnings and comply with them. Keep this manual, for the entire life of the appliance, for consultation purposes. Failure to follow the instructions could cause accidents and void the guarantee, relieving the manufacturer from any liability.
- This appliance must only be used for the purpose for which it was designed, i.e. as a HAND BLENDER for home use.
- Any other use is considered improper and therefore dangerous.
- This product is intended for HOUSEHOLD use only, it is not intended for industrial or professional use.
- The packing elements (plastic bags, cardboard, polystyrene, etc.) must not be left within the reach of children as they are potential sources of danger and must be disposed of in accordance with current regulations.
- After removing the appliance from the packaging, check for any presence of transport damage and the integrity of the supply based on the drawing.
- In case of damage or doubts about its actual integrity, do not use the appliance and contact the authorized assistance service.
- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug are damaged.
- Before connecting the appliance, check that the mains voltage data on the data label corresponds to that of the local electricity network.
- The data label is located on the appliance itself.
- The plug on the appliance must fit snugly into the outlet. Do not alter the plug in any way. Do not use adapters.
- Do not use or store the product outdoors.

Do not use the product if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or leaks.

Do not pull the power cable to lift, carry or remove the plug from the socket.
- Make sure that the cable has no knots or kinks.
- Check the condition of the electric cable. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
- Do not use the plug or cord with wet or damp hands or feet.
- If the cable or plug are damaged, they must be replaced by the manufacturer or its technical assistance service or in any case by a person with similar qualifications, in order to prevent any risk.
- In the event of a breakdown or malfunction of the appliance, switch it off and do not tamper with it. For any repairs, contact only an authorized technical assistance centre.
- This product is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, mental or sensory capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless there is supervision or training in the use of the appliance provided by the responsible for their safety and understand the dangers involved.
- This product cannot be used by children. Keep the product and its power cord out of the reach of children.
- This product is not a toy. Make sure that children do not play with the appliance. Keep the product out of the reach of children.
- Never let the cord hang over a surface where a child could grab it.
- Do not turn the product upside down while it is in operation or connected to the network.
- Before assembling or disassembling accessories, after use or before cleaning, before approaching moving parts, switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the socket. Unplug the product from the power supply whenever it is left unattended.
- Never leave the product unattended when it is in operation.
- Make sure that the blades have completely stopped turning before proceeding with the disassembly of the appliance and before storing it after use.
- Do not use the product with boiling oil or particularly greasy foods.
- Store the product in a dry, dust-free environment away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- NEVER immerse the motor body, the power cable or the plug in water or other liquids and never place them under running water.
- Unplug the unit before assembling, disassembling or cleaning the device.

To use, place the product on a flat and stable surface, so that it cannot fall on the floor, into the sink or other containers of water.

DO NOT use near the cooker hob or other heat sources.

Pay attention that the cable does not come into contact with hot, incandescent surfaces, open flames, saucepans and other hot utensils.

Do not touch moving parts.

WARNING: Do not attempt to touch and/or remove the accessories in any way while the appliance is running.

Do not use accessories other than those supplied.

Do not use the hand blender for more than 30 seconds at a time.

Wait a few minutes for the product to cool down completely before using it again.

All parts intended to come into contact with food during use of the appliance must be thoroughly washed before use.

Be sure to unplug the unit after use and disassemble it for cleaning.

Parts are not dishwasher safe.

Be careful when handling the blades, when emptying the bowl and when cleaning.

Be especially careful when pouring hot liquid into the bowl, as it may be expelled by sudden vaporization.
Intended Use
This appliance is designed for mixing, pureeing, chopping food, meat grinder, whipping egg white. For example, it is very suitable for preparing mayonnaise, dips, sauces, soups, baby food and milkshakes. The appliance is intended for processing household quantities. The appliance is intended for use in household and similar applications. It may only be used in the manner described in these operating instructions. You must not use the appliance for commercial purposes. Any other use is considered improper and may result in damage to property or even personal injury. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper use.

Operation
The maximum continuous operation time is 30 seconds, after which the appliance must be allowed to rest for 3 minutes. After 3 consecutive cycles, 30 minutes of cool-down is required.

Speed adjustable by using more or less pressure on the button
Blender rod (D)
Suitable for preparing babies food, soups, sauces, shakes and mayonnaise.
Beaker blending (E)
Do not fill the jar above 800 ml.
Blending in pots, pans and casseroles
Take the pot away from the heat source and allow it cool down. If not, the device could overheat.
Place the handle inside the stick's shaft and then lock it by turning it until you hear a click sound.
Plug the device in. To avoid any splashing, place the blade inside the food before switching it on.
Hold the handle steadily, then press the speed controller button.
Speed adjustable by using more or less pressure on the button
Do not allow any liquid to cover the joint between the handle and the stick's shaft.
Move the blade slowly through the food, moving it upwards, downwards and in circles.
If the device gets jammed, unplug it before cleaning it.
After using the device, unplug it and disassemble it.
Balloon whisk (l)
Suitable for whipping soft ingredients such as egg whites, cream, instant desserts, eggs and sugar.
Do not try to whisk harder mixtures as margarine as you may damage the balloon whisk.
Assemble the whisk wire with the whisk's attachment.
Fit the blender's handle inside the whisk attachment, then lock it.
Place the food in the container.
Do not whisk more than 6 egg whites or 1000 ml of cream at the same time.
Do not let any liquid get above the whisks.
Plug the device in and press the speed controller button.
Chopper (F + G + H)
Suitable for mincing meat, cheese, vegetables, spices, bread, biscuits and nuts.
Remove any bone inside the ingredients to be processed and cut food into 1-2 cm thickness.
Assemble the mincing blade
Place the food inside the container.
Replace the lid and turn it until you hear a click
Place the blender handle and lock it.
Make sure to hold the container firmly and connect the device to the power supply. Then, press
the speed controller button.
After using the device, unplug it from the power supply, disassemble the parts and wash them properly.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Disconnect the appliance from the power socket
- Clean the motor body and the chopper lid with a soft cloth moistened with water. Do not immerse these parts in water or other liquids.
- Clean the blades and accessories immediately after use, paying particular attention to the blades.
- The accessories and blades can be cleaned with a cloth or sponge using hot water and dishwashing detergent, taking care not to wet the electrical components.
• Store the product in a cool, dry place - The accessories must be dry before being reassembled on the product.
