How to connect the receiver to my TV?

Use an HDMI cable to connect the receiver's HDMI output to your TV's HDMI input. Ensure both devices are powered off before connecting.

Can I use the receiver wirelessly?

Yes, the receiver supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections. For Wi-Fi, go to Settings > Network and select your network. For Bluetooth, pair with your device via the Bluetooth menu.

What video resolutions are supported?

The receiver supports up to 4K resolution at 60 fps. It also supports 1080p, 720p, and lower resolutions depending on source.

How do I reset the receiver to factory settings?

Press and hold the Reset button on the back for 10 seconds using a paperclip. Alternatively, go to Settings > System > Factory Reset.

Why is there no sound from my receiver?

Check that the audio output is set correctly in Settings > Audio. Ensure HDMI or optical cable is properly connected. Also verify the source device is outputting audio.

Can I record live TV with this receiver?

Yes, the receiver supports recording to an external USB drive. Insert a USB drive, go to the recording schedule, and set your preferences.

How to update the firmware?

Go to Settings > About > System Update. The receiver will check for updates online. Ensure it is connected to the internet. Do not power off during update.

What should I do if the receiver overheats?

Place the receiver in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Ensure ventilation slots are not blocked. If overheating persists, contact support.

Can I use the receiver without a remote?

Yes, you can use the AJA mobile app for control. Download from the app store and connect to the same Wi-Fi network. Alternatively, use the buttons on the device itself.

How to clean the receiver?

Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. Do not use any liquids or sprays. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water and wring well.

Chapter 1: Introduction

Overview

The C10DA is a miniature, low-cost utility 1x6 analog video distribution amplifier that can be used for distributing analog video, bi-level video reference, and tri-level video reference signals. It can also be used to distribute other single ended signals such as AES3-id and Linear Timecode (LTC). Featuring six separately buffered analog outputs, the C10DA provides gain adjustment.

Installation

Typically, C10DA installation consists of the following steps:

1. Disconnect power from the converter.
2. Connect video equipment to the BNCs.
3. Apply DC power to the converter.

Configuration

NOTE: There is no Mini-Config support for this product.

You can configure the C10DA by using the DIP Switches on the back of the unit.

Input Termination Control

DIP Switch 4 determines whether the input is terminated (75 ohm) or open.

Put in the left position, the input is terminated. Put in the right position, the input is open.

Gain Control

The positions of DIP Switches 3, 2, and 1 determine the gain setting, from -3dB to +3dB in 1dB increments, as indicated in the illustration below.

AJA Video Systems, Inc. (AJA Video) warrants that this product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five years from the date of purchase. If a product proves to be defective during this warranty period, AJA Video, at its option, will either repair the defective product without charge for parts and labor, or will provide a replacement in exchange for the defective product.

In order to obtain service under this warranty, you the Customer, must notify AJA Video of the defect before the expiration of the warranty period and make suitable arrangements for the performance of service. The Customer shall be responsible for packaging and shipping the defective product to a designated service center nominated by AJA Video, with shipping charges prepaid. AJA Video shall pay for the return of the product to the Customer if the shipment is to a location within the country in which the AJA Video service center is located. Customer shall be responsible for paying all shipping charges, insurance, duties, taxes, and any other charges for products returned to any other locations.

This warranty shall not apply to any defect, failure or damage caused by improper use or improper or inadequate maintenance and care. AJA Video shall not be obligated to furnish service under this warranty a) to repair damage resulting from attempts by personnel other than AJA Video representatives to install, repair or service the product, b) to repair damage resulting from improper use or connection to incompatible equipment, c) to repair any damage or malfunction caused by the use of non-AJA Video parts or supplies, or d) to service a product that has been modified or integrated with other products when the effect of such a modification or integration increases the time or difficulty of servicing the product.
