How do I install the HYB-7000 lavatory?

First, ensure reinforced wall framing is in place. Determine the desired height and mark a level line 3.0 inches below the rim. Install the hanger bracket using anchor bolts (2” size). Mount the lavatory onto the protruding bolts, level it, and tighten. Then install the drain pop-up and faucet (not included). Optionally, install the shroud after plumbing.

What tools are needed for installation?

You will need a putty knife, 10-inch adjustable wrench, safety glasses, Phillips and flathead screwdrivers, measuring tape, drain wrench, tube cutter, plumber's putty, hacksaw, silicone sealant, and channel lock pliers.

Can I install the lavatory without the optional shroud?

Yes, the shroud is optional. It is sold separately and conceals the drain and supply stops. The lavatory functions without it.

How do I install the optional shroud?

Install drain and supply stops first per rough-in diagram. Carefully remove shroud from carton, mark anchor holes, drill, and attach plastic brackets with screws and anchors. Position shroud over drain and supply stops, then secure with 2” chord screw and white cap assembly into bracket holes. Do not overtighten.

What type of supply stops are recommended for use with the shroud?

Only screwdriver-type supply stops are recommended to accommodate the limited space behind the shroud.

How should I clean the vitreous china lavatory?

Use a cleaner suitable for vitreous china. Spray and wipe clean with a soft cloth. Mild abrasive cleaners may be used to remove stubborn stains.

What is the warranty on the Sloan HYB-7000?

Sloan Valve Company provides a limited warranty, covering repair or replacement of defective parts under normal use. The warranty excludes labor, transportation, and consequential damages. Improper installation may void warranty.

Can I use wall anchors or toggle bolts for mounting?

No, these are not recommended. Adequate reinforced wall framing is required for proper hanger bracket support. For concrete walls, properly sized wall anchors can be used.

What should I do if the lavatory does not sit level?

If the lavatory is not level or at the desired height, remove it and adjust the mounting holes as needed. Ensure the hanger bracket is correctly positioned before retightening.

Does the lavatory come with a drain and faucet?

No, the drain pop-up assembly and faucet are not included. You must purchase them separately and install according to the manufacturer's instructions.

INSTALLATION OF DAVATER

1. PRIOR TO NEW INSTALLATION ▲ NOTE: Adequate reinforced wall framing is required behind the wall for proper hanger bracket support. Use of wall anchors or toggle bolts is not recommended. For concrete walls a property sized wall anchors

can be used.

- Determine appropriate wall location for the lavatory. Consider that hot and cold water supply lines with supply stops or a terminated water supply line with supply stop and a drain line will be required. A 120V electricity source (acceptable) may also be required. Compare the physical dimensions of the lavatory to the space available for the installation.

2. UNPACK AND INSPECT LAVATORY

- Carefully remove sinks from its protective carbons so as not to damage porcelain fill bars. Check for any damage to a safety before processing with the installation.

- Examine the carbon for surfboard parts before discarding packaging.

3. INSTALL DRAIN POP-UP AND FAUCET

- Install the towel and drain assembly (not included). Refuse in case manufacturers instructions. Use plumbers pully on drain assembly to ensure a water seal.

4. INSTALL MOUNTING HARDWARE

- Determine the desired height to the top of laboratory sine rim. - Mass a level line 3.0" shaded below
