How often should I replace the True HEPA filter?

The filter should be replaced approximately every 2 years (or after about 17,000 hours of use) when the REPLACE FILTER indicator turns on. Filter life varies by usage conditions.

Can I wash the True HEPA filter?

No, the True HEPA filter is not washable. It should be replaced when the indicator lights up. However, the pre-filter can be vacuumed or washed with water and mild detergent.

How do I clean the pre-filter?

Remove the pre-filter and gently vacuum it. If heavily soiled, wash with water and a small amount of dish detergent, then rinse and dry thoroughly before reinstalling. Do not operate the unit without the pre-filter.

Why does the air purifier emit a strange odor?

A slight odor may occur when the filter is new (outgassing) or when odors from the environment (e.g., cigarette smoke, cooking) are trapped. If the odor persists, the filter may need replacement or cleaning. Also ensure the unit is not placed near odor sources.

What does the Auto Resume function do?

The Auto Resume function remembers the last operation mode and settings. If power is interrupted (e.g., power outage), the unit will automatically resume in the previous mode when power is restored.

How do I reset the filter replacement indicator?

After replacing the filter, plug in the unit and press the POWER ON/OFF button, then press the REPLACE FILTER button for 3 seconds until the indicator turns off.

Is the air purifier safe to use around children?

Read before operating your new Air Purifier.

The air purifier draws in room air through the air inlet grilles and through a pre-filter and a True HEPA filter inside the main unit and then discharges it through the air outlet. The True HEPA filter can remove 99.97% of dust particles as small as 0.3 microns that pass through the filter.

Some odors may be absorbed by the filter and released over time, causing additional odors. Depending on usage conditions, and especially if the product is used in environments significantly more severe than a normal household, these odors may become noticeable sooner than expected. If these odors persist, replace the filter. (Page 8,11)

The air purifier is not designed to remove air suspended gases such as harmful gases (for example, carbon monoxide contained in cigarette smoke).

The dust collecting ability of the product is effective even when the product is as close as 5 cm from the wall, but the surrounding walls or floor may get dirty. Please place the product at a distance from the wall. The wall directly behind the air outlets and the floor or rug on which the product is placed may become dirty over time.
