How do I clean the filter on my Lasko CC23630 heater?

To clean the filter, first unplug the heater. Then push the tab on the back to remove the filter cover. Use a vacuum with a brush attachment to clean the intake grills every two weeks. For stubborn dirt, use a soft bristle brush like a toothbrush. Replace the filter cover after cleaning.

What does the Auto Eco™ thermostat do?

Auto Eco™ automatically adjusts the heat output to maintain your desired room temperature. When the ambient temperature is below the set point, the heater runs on High. When it reaches the set point, it switches to Low and continues until the temperature rises 2°F above the set point, then turns off the heating element while the fan runs for 15 seconds. The cycle repeats as needed.

My heater shut off unexpectedly. How do I reset it?

If the heater shuts off unexpectedly, it may have activated the thermal overload or tip-over safety feature. Unplug the heater and wait at least 10 minutes for it to cool down. After that, plug it back into a 120V outlet and turn it on. Make sure the heater is on a stable, level surface and not blocked.

Can I use an extension cord with this heater?

No. Never use an extension cord, power strip, surge protector, or any other cord-connected device. Plug the heater directly into a 120V wall outlet. Using extension cords creates a fire hazard.

How do I set the timer on the CC23630?

Press the Timer button repeatedly to cycle through hour settings up to 8 hours. The display will show the selected time. After a few seconds, the timer is set and the heater will run for that duration then automatically shut off.

What is the difference between base oscillation and grill rotation?

Base oscillation rotates the entire heater left and right for widespread heat distribution. Grill rotation rotates the front grille independently to direct airflow. You can use both simultaneously or separately for focused or wide-area heating.

The remote control does not work. What should I do?

First, check that the batteries are installed correctly and have fresh batteries. Ensure there are no obstacles between the remote and the heater. If the heater is placed near other electronic devices, interference may occur; move the heater to another location. If issues persist, contact Lasko customer service.

Is this heater safe to leave unattended?

The heater has safety features like tip-over and thermal overload protection, but it is not recommended to leave it unattended. Always unplug the heater when not in use and keep it away from children, pets, and flammable materials.

How do I change the temperature display from Fahrenheit to Celsius?

Press and hold the (+) and (-) buttons simultaneously to toggle between °F and °C. The display will change accordingly.

What is the warranty period and how do I claim warranty?

  • Make certain that the power source conforms to the electrical requirements of the Heater.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any Heater is used by or near children or invalids. The Heater should not be left operating unattended. Never leave children unattended when the Heater is on or plugged in.
• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
• DO NOT use the Heater in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored. DO NOT use Heater in locations where flammable or explosive chemicals are stored, or in wet atmospheres.
• Do not operate any Heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the Heater malfunctions, or has been dropped or damaged in any room. To dis-organized heater, how the Heater OFF then remove the plug from the outlet.
  • Always unplug Heater when not in use. Unplug power cord before servicing or moving the Heater.

• Always place the Heater on a stable, flat, level surface when operating, to avoid the chance of the Heater overturning. Locates the Power Cord so the Heater or other objects are not resting on it. DO NOT run Power Cord under carpeting. DO NOT cover Power Cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar ceilings as this may cause cord to overheat. Arrange Power Cord away from room traffic and where it will not be tripped over.
- This Heeler is HOT when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Always use handle when moving this Heeler. Keep combustible matensis, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the Heater and keep them at least 1 foot (0.3 m) from the sides and rear.
- This Heater is not intended for use in wet or damp locations. This Heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. NEVER locate a Heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.

Clean Filter

1. Push Tab In, then remove the Filter Cover from the back of the Heater.

2. Vacuum intake grills every two weeks; this will help to maintain the optimum Heater performance.

3. Use a toothbrush or other soft bristle brush to gently loosen any dirt not removed by the vacuum. Replace Filter Cover.

Controls

Power Button Turn Heater ON/OFF by pressing the Power Button.

Base Oscillation Button Press to Start/Stop the Base Oscillation function.

Grill Rotation Button Press to Start/Stop the Grill Rotation function. For a focused heat, press the the Grill Rotation Button again. This will stop the grill in your desired location, providing a more focused heat. Press the Grill Rotation Button again to restart rotation.

Heat Mode Button Heat can be adjusted to H3 (High), H2 (Mod), or H1 (Low).

Timer Button The timer can be set for up to 8 hours. Continue pressing the Timer Button to reach the desired time setting.

AUTO ECO™ THERMOSTAT

Pressing the H or I buttons while in any Hester function or speed will turn on the Auto Eco™ junction.

1. To set the room at a specific temperature press the (+) or (+) buttons to the desired temperature. The temperature will be flashing on the display. The Un is now in Auto Eco™ Mode.

2. When you reach the temperature at which you want to set the unit, the set temperature will finish several times and then the display will return to indicate the current room temperature and will gradually change as the room temperature changes. NOTE: the temperature display does not indicate the temperature of the heated air being emitted by the Unit.

3. Heater will run on HIGH heat when the ambient temperature is less than the set temperature.

4. Heater will run on LOW heat when ambient temperature reaches set temperature and will continue to run on LOW heat until ambient temperature reaches 2 degrees Fahrenheit above set temperature.

5. Heater will turn OFF once the ambient temperature is greater than 2 degrees Fahrenheit above set temperature. The fan will continue to run for 15 seconds after the heater element is turned off.

All of this happens automatically with Lasko Auto Eco™ Technology. To deactivate the Auto Eco™ function, turn the Unit off or press the (A) button. NOTE: In Auto Eco™, the Unit will display the current room temperature in °C

Fahrenheit. Press the (+) and (+) buttons at the same time to change the display to ° Celsius. Press the same two buttons together again to change the display back to ° Fahrenheit.

SAFETY FEATURE

1. A Tip-Over Switch is built in to prevent operation if the Heater is tipped over.

2. A thermal overload protector is built in to prevent evacuation.

3. If an overheat temperature is reached, the Heater will automatically shut off.

To Reset Heater:

1. Unplug the Heater and wait 10 minutes for the Heater to cool down. For Miss the Heater has cooled down, give the wait into a 1976 clock

2. After the Heater has cooled down, plug the unit into a 120V electrical outlet and follow this operation instructions described in this manual. TROUBLE SHOOTING TIPS

THOOBLE SHOOTING TIPS

If your Heater shuts off unexpectedly or fails to operate, the previously mentioned safety feature may have been activated to prevent overheating. 1. Be sure the power cord is plapped into a working electrical outlet.

1. Make certain the batteries in the remote control are now and properly installed.

2. Check your Temperature setting. The Heater may be off because it has reached the desired temperature setting.

3. If your Heater runs for several minutes and shots off repeatedly, your Heater may require cleaning. See Maintenance section below.

MAINTENANCE

- Always unplug the cord before moving, servicing or cleaning.

- NEVER places the Heater in or near water. DO NOT IMMERSE HEATER IN WATER.

- Clean the Heater only with a vacuum equipped with a brush attachment; the vacuum will remove

the first and dirt from the surface of the Heater.

- Vacuum intake grills every two weeks; this will help to maintain the optimum Heater performance.

- NEVER attempt to take apart the Heater.

- Clean the body of the Heater with a soft cloth only.

- NEVER use ALGOHOL, or SOLVENTS such as gasoline, benzene, paint thrine, or other hand wash channels.
