Frequently Asked Questions - 34-3588 Asaklitt

How do I adjust the focus on my Asaklitt 34-3588 binoculars?
Turn the central focus wheel located between the barrels until the image appears sharp. For individual eye compensation, adjust the diopter ring on the right eyepiece.
What do the numbers 10x42 on the binoculars mean?
The first number (10x) indicates the magnification, meaning objects appear 10 times closer. The second number (42) is the objective lens diameter in millimeters, which affects light gathering.
How do I clean the lenses of my binoculars?
Use a soft brush to remove dust, then gently wipe with a microfiber cloth and lens cleaning solution. Avoid using paper towels or rough fabrics to prevent scratches.
Are the Asaklitt 34-3588 binoculars waterproof?
These binoculars are splash resistant but not fully waterproof. Avoid submerging them in water and protect from heavy rain.
What is the field of view at 1000 meters?
The field of view is approximately 114 meters at 1000 meters distance, which is typical for 10x42 binoculars.
How do I use the diopter adjustment?
First focus with the central wheel using your left eye, then cover the left objective lens and turn the diopter ring on the right eyepiece until the image is sharp for your right eye.
What is the warranty period for Asaklitt 34-3588 binoculars?
Asaklitt offers a standard 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Keep your proof of purchase for service.
Can I use these binoculars for stargazing?
Yes, the 10x42 configuration is suitable for basic stargazing, but for better results consider a model with larger aperture (e.g., 50mm) and a tripod for stability.
How do I adjust the interpupillary distance?
Hold the binoculars and gently rotate the two barrels around the central hinge until you see a single circular image without dark edges.
What type of prism do these binoculars use?
The Asaklitt 34-3588 uses roof prisms made of BaK-4 glass, which provides good light transmission and image clarity.

Safety

Never look directly at the sun through the binoculars. This could permanently damage your eyesight.

Adjusting the eyepieces

The distance between the eyes varies from person to person. In order for the binoculars to fit the user perfectly, the distance between the eyepieces should be adjusted. Hold the binoculars in front of you normally and move the eyepieces closer together or further apart until you have a clear round field of vision.

Adjusting the focus

  1. Adjust the right eyepiece (A) to "0" and look through the binoculars at a distant object.

  2. Cover the right front lens with your hand. Twist the adjustment screw (B) until you see the object clearly with your left eye. Now look with both eyes.

  3. Cover the left front lens with your hand and twist the right eyepiece until you can see the object clearly again.

  4. On models with two adjustable eyepieces, the same procedure should be carried out for both.

  5. The binoculars are now adjusted for your eyes.

Binoculars with rubber eyecups

The eyecups (C) can be folded down to allow users who wear spectacles to be able to see the entire field of view. Some models have twist-type eyecups that can be screwed in or out to a more comfortable position.

Cleaning

  • Clean the binoculars with a dust brush or a fine lint-free cloth.
  • If you use a detergent to clean the binoculars, note that you should never spray liquids directly onto the lenses or eyepieces. Always spray onto a cleaning cloth.
  • Never try to dismantle the binoculars or to clean the internal parts.
