Frequently Asked Questions - THERON Plus THERMALTAKE

How do I change the DPI settings on my THERON Plus?
Open the Tt eSPORTS GUI software. Go to the Performance tab. You can adjust the DPI by moving the slider or entering a value in the box. Each profile supports up to 4 DPI levels. Click Apply to save.
What is Battle Mode lighting?
Battle Mode changes the lighting color and flash frequency based on your Actions Per Minute (APM). Higher APM results in faster flashing, with colors shifting from blue (low) to purple (high). It reacts to your clicking speed in real-time.
How do I create a macro?
In the GUI software, go to the Macro Setting tab. Click NEW to create a macro, name it, then click Record to capture keystrokes or mouse actions. Use the timeline to adjust delays or delete events. Save the macro and assign it to a button in Key Assignment.
Can I adjust the polling rate?
Yes. In the Performance tab, you can select from 125 Hz (8ms), 250 Hz (4ms), 500 Hz (2ms), or 1000 Hz (1ms). Higher polling rates reduce lag but may slightly increase CPU usage.
How many profiles can I store?
The THERON Plus can store up to 5 on-board profiles. Each profile includes DPI settings, button assignments, lighting, and performance parameters. Switch between profiles using the GUI or a dedicated button (if assigned).
What does the 'Lift-Off Control' do?
Lift-Off Control adjusts the distance at which the sensor stops tracking when you lift the mouse. You can set it to a low, medium, or high level to suit your gaming style or mousepad surface. Avoid the lowest setting as it may cause tracking issues.
How do I update the firmware?
Visit the official Thermaltake eSPORTS website (www.ttesports.com). Go to the THERON Plus product page, scroll to the 'Download' section, and download the latest firmware update. Follow the instructions in the GUI software's Firmware Update tab.
Is the mouse compatible with Mac?
The Tt eSPORTS GUI software is only available for Windows. The mouse will function as a standard mouse on Mac, but advanced features like DPI adjustment and macro programming require the software on a Windows PC.
How do I clean my THERON Plus?
Unplug the mouse from the computer. Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or mild soap. Gently wipe the surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners or allow moisture to enter the mouse. Let it dry completely before reconnecting.
What should I do if a button stops working?
First, check if the button is assigned properly in the GUI software under Key Assignment. Try resetting the profile to default. If the issue persists, update the firmware. If the problem is hardware-related, contact Thermaltake support for warranty or repair options.
