General

Instructions for Installation:
- Do not tilt the refrigerator for more than 45 from the upright position when moving it. Avoid collision and violent vibration during transportation.
Do not apply force to any part such as the condenser, the door and its handle in order to prevent refrigerator from deforming, as this will influence the performance.

Cautions for Safety:
- It must be checked that the voltag should be the same as the rated voltage before the refrigerator is used.
- The power plug should have its own separated socket in order to prevent the electric wire from being over heated by other plugs.

Do not place scaled container or carbonated liquids such as fizzy drinks into the freezer as it creates pressure on the container which may cause it to explode resulting to damage to the freezer or people. - Do not splash water on to the refrigerator. Otherwise it may cause malfunctions of the refrigerator or electric shock.
Do not store flammable materials such as alcohol, gasoline, L.P gas and glue etc, in the refrigerator.
9 Ice cubes and ice lollies should not be consumed immediately after removal from the freezer as it may result in low temperature skin abrasions.
10 When you change the light bulb or when the refrigerator is not in use for long periods, disconnect it from the electricity supply..

Operation:
- When operating the refrigerator for the first time, set the thermostatic dial at 3, connect the electric wire and run it without loading any food. Usually this takes 2 or 3 hours. Then set the thermostatic dial at the desired setting and place foods into the refrigerator.

The temperature of the refrigerator can be adjusted by turning the thermostatic dial. setting of the thermostatic dial at 3\~4 is the most suitable for general operation. The higher the number the colder the temperature. When you set it to 0, the refrigerator will stop.

Do not put too many foods in the refrigerator. Open the door as less as possible in order to maintain the temperature of the refrigerator and always leave warm food to cool down to room temperature before putting into the refrigerator to save electric consumption.

- When making ice cubes, fill the ice-making case with drinkable water. And put it into the freezer. It takes about 2 or 3 hours to make ice cubes. Pieces of ice cube can be removed by twisting it. Do not press it up and down, otherwise, it may be broken.


- Frost in fridge compartment can defrost automatically and the water can flow to the water collection pan which support the compressor. The condensate water will evaporate by the heat of compressor. If the drain hose in compressor compartment is not installed well, do install it again before use. Defrost the freezer compartment whenever the layer of frost on the surface reaches 3 or 4 mm. When defrosting, remove all foods and appendix, set the thermostat at 0 position and open the door. After the frost has melted, discard the water and dry up the interior of the refrigerator, The refrigerator can then be restarted by turning its thermostat to the desired setting.
CautionsCautions
- When defrosting, never use any sharp or metallic objects to remove the frost on the surface of the evaporator as this will damage the evaporator.
- Do not store bottled beverage in the freezing compartment, so as to prevent it from being broken and damaging the refrigerator.
- Keep space between the food packets to allow the cold air to circulate smoothly in fridge or freezer compartment..
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- When cleaning the refrigerator, disconnect the electric wire. Rub it carefully with a piece of cloth soaked with neutral cleanser, then wipe it clean with fresh Water. Do not wash the refrigerator with water directly to prevent the unit from rust and breakdown.

- Never use acids, chemical solution, thinner, gasoline or the likes to clean the refrigerator because they may damage the painting cover and plastic parts of it

Door Reverse
Reversing the Door
Before you reverse the refrigerator door, you should ensure the refrigerator is unplugged and empty and have someone to help you. During the process Screwdriver and adjustable spanner will be used.

Undo the four retaining screws of the worktop and remove the worktop

Undo the retaining screws of the top bracket and remove the top bracket. Then take away the upper door and put it in a safe place.

While supporting the lower door, remove the central bracket by undo the 2 screws.

Take away the lower door from the bottom hinge pin. Tilt the fridge onto its back and rest it on a firm surface.

Remove the bottom bracket by unscrewing. Remove and reverse the adjustable foot from left side to right side and remove the fixed screw in the left side.

Remove the lower hinge pin using a spanner. Turn the hinge bracket over and replace it in the same slot. Replace the bottom bracket on the other side and lift the refrigerator upright.

Unscrew the hinge pin from the top bracket using the spanner. Turn the bracket over and replace it in the same slot.

Refit the top bracket while refitting the upper door. Do not fully tighten screws.

Check that doors are aligned horizontally and vertically and that all seals are closed on the cabinet before finally tighten the central hinge and the top bracket. Remove and reverse the plastic insert of the worktop before refit the worktop. Re-adjust the levelling feet.
Troubleshooting
- When the refrigerator does not operate: ensure that
• The electric power is supplied and the voltage is normal.
•The fuse is not burned out
•The power plug is plugged in firmly in the socket.
• The thermostat setting is not in 0 position..
- When the refrigerator is not cool enough: ensure that
• The thermostat is at the correct setting.
• There are enough space around the refrigerator.
• The doors are not opened too frequently and for too long.
• The refrigerator is not under direct sunlight or placed near the heat source.
• There are not too many foods and hot foods in the refrigerator.
- When the foods in the refrigerator are frozen
• The thermostat is at the correct setting.
• There are not too much foods which contain much moisture in the refrigerator.
- When the refrigerator operates too noisily:
• The refrigerator is properly levelled.
• The refrigerator is not touching objects around it.
- The containers or solid packages stored inside are not touching each other.
- When the refrigerator can not run in winter:
- The compensate switch is off. It should be turned on as the ambient temperature is less than 10 degree.
- When there is water spill to the ground:
• The drain hole is blocked
- The drain hose in compressor compartment is not installed well.
- When the refrigerator run continuous in summer without stop:
• There are too much food in the refrigerator.
• The thermostat dial is at higher position such as 7 etc.
• The door of refrigerator is opened too frequently.
• The ventilation is not good around the refrigerator.
- The door is not closed well or the door gasket is deformed..
Note:
During the period of high relative humidity, moisture may form on the surface of the refrigerator. It is not malfunction. You may just wipe it up yourself. If your refrigerator is still not functioning properly after making the above checks, please contact with the maintenance service department without any delay.
