  • Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the appliance as it can be ejected out of the appliance due to a sudden steaming.
  • Make sure the appliance is properly cleaned. Especially the surfaces in contact with food. Please refer to the "cleaning and maintenance" section for cleaning details.
  • This appliance is intended for normal household use only. It is not intended for use in environments such as staff kitchens of shops, offices, farms, or other work environments. Nor is it intended to be used by clients in hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts and other residential environments.
  • Never use a blade unit without a chopper or a food processor bowl.
  • To avoid splashing, always immerse the blender bar, the beaters into the ingredients before you switch on the appliance, especially when you process hot ingredients.
  • Do not use the appliance in outdoors.
  • Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
  • Remove attachments from the appliance before cleaning or washing.
  • Always make sure bowl lid is locked securely in place before motor is turned on.
  • Be sure that all parts and accessories are fully secured in position before operating the appliance. Do not touch the accessories and blades until motor stops.

Caution

  • Do not overload the food processor or exceed maximum capacity. Warn of potential injury from misuse.
  • Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
  • Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling, approaching parts that move in use or cleaning. For the operating times and speed setting for accessories, please refer to section "processing quantities and processing time".
  • Never fill the beaker, and food processor (specific types only) with ingredients that are hotter than 60°C.
  • After cleaning, let the blender bar dry. Store it either horizontally or with the blade pointing upwards. Make sure the blade unit is completely dry before you store the blender bar.

Using the appliance

Using bar blender

You can use this attachment to prepare dips, sauces, soups, mayonnaise, baby food and milkshakes.

Do not process ingredients such as ice cubes, frozen ingredients or fruits with stones.

1 Turn the blender bar anti-clockwise to lock it to the motor unit.
2 Put the ingredients into a beaker or other bowls.
3 Connect the power plug to the power supply.

4 Lower the blade guard completely in the ingredients in order to avoid splashing.

5 Switch on the appliance by pressing the trigger switch. You can increase the speed by pressing the switch harder.
6 Move the appliance slowly up and down and in circles to blend the ingredients.
7 After you have finished blending, release the trigger switch to turn the appliance off and unplug the appliance.

Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the food processor or blender as it can be ejected out of the appliance due to a sudden steaming. Never put ingredients that are hotter than 60"C into the bowl.

Using beating attachment

You can use this attachment for whipping cream, sponge cakes, beating egg whites and ready-mix desserts.

Do not process ingredients such as ice cubes, frozen ingredients or fruits with stones.

1 Attach the beater accessory to the beater accessory gear unit.

2 Turn the beater gear unit anti-clockwise to lock it to the motor unit.

3 Put the ingredients into a bowl.

4 Connect the power plug to the power supply.

5 Lower the beater accessory completely in the ingredients to avoid splashing.

6 Switch on the appliance by pressing the trigger switch. You can increase the speed by pressing the switch harder.

7 Move the appliance slowly and in circles to blend the ingredients.

8 After use, release the trigger switch to turn the appliance off and unplug the appliance.

If you want to process a small quantity, tilt the bowl slightly for a quicker result.

When you beat egg whites, use a large bowl for the best result.

In order to get a good result, the bowl and the tool must be completely fat free and there must not be a rest of egg yolk in the egg whites.

To prevent splashing, start at a low speed and continue with a higher speed after around 1 minute.

Using food processor

The food processor is intended for chopping, slicing, and shredding ingredients.

- The blade unit is intended for chopping ingredients such as onions, raw meat, herbs, nuts, etc.

- The slicing disc is intended for slicing ingredients like carrots, cucumber, etc.

Using the chopping blade

1 Attached the blade unit in the food processor bowl.
2 Put the ingredients in the bowl.
3 Turn the food processor lid clockwise to lock it to the bowl. You will hear a click when it is locked.
4 Turn the motor unit clockwise to lock it to the gear box.
5 Attach the motor unit with gear box to the food processor lid.
6 Connect the power plug to the power supply.

3 Attach the disc on the shaft.

4 Turn the food processor lid clockwise to lock it to the bowl. You will hear a click when it is locked.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Always unplug the appliance after use and before removing and cleaning attachments.

To make cleaning easier, rinse removable attachments and bowl right after use. Clean and dry the attachments and bowl. Please see the cleaning instructions table below. Avoid using scouring pads, harsh detergents and and abrasives. Dry with a soft, clean cloth.

Wipe the motor units with a slightly damp cloth, do not immerse the motor unit in water.

After cleaning, let the blender bar dry. Store it either horizontally or with the blade pointing upwards. Make sure the blade unit is completely dry before you store the blender bar.

You can wash the surfaces around the blades on the chopping stick under tap I water but be careful and try not to get water around the clutch area.
