Frequently Asked Questions - MKWM FS60712 ED SLIM D Master Kitchen

How do I install the washing machine?
Remove all packaging and transport bolts. Adjust the feet to level the machine. Connect the water inlet hose to a cold water tap. Insert the drain hose into a standpipe or sink. Plug into an earthed socket. For details, refer to the installation instructions in the manual.
What does the error code E10 mean?
Error E10 indicates a water supply issue. Check that the water tap is fully open, the inlet hose is not kinked, and the filter in the water inlet valve is not blocked. If the problem persists, contact customer service.
How can I clean the drum?
Run the Drum Clean program monthly. Use a specialized washing machine cleaner or run a 90°C cycle with vinegar (if recommended). Leave the door open after use to allow drying.
Why is the machine not spinning?
Ensure the load is balanced (avoid overload or single heavy items). Check that the spin speed is not set to zero. Also verify the drain hose is not blocked. The machine may stop spinning if too much foam is present.
How do I use the delay start function?
Select your wash program, then press the Delay Start button repeatedly to set the delay in hours. Confirm by pressing Start. The machine will begin the cycle so that it finishes at the set time.
What is the maximum load for the Quick 15 program?
For the Quick 15 program, the maximum load is approximately 2 kg of lightly soiled laundry. Overloading may result in poor wash performance.
Can I open the door during a cycle?
If the water level is high or the temperature is above 50°C, the door remains locked for safety. When the cycle is paused and conditions are safe, you can open the door after a few minutes. See the manual for details.
How often should I clean the detergent drawer?
We recommend cleaning the detergent drawer every 2 months. Remove the drawer, rinse under warm water, and use a brush to remove residues. Also wipe the compartment.
What type of detergent should I use?
Use high-efficiency (HE) detergents suitable for front-loaders. For colored garments, use color-safe detergent. Avoid excessive suds, as they can cause errors.
Where can I find the serial number?
The serial number is located on the rating plate on the back of the machine. It is also printed on the sales receipt. Keep this number for service requests.

Note!

  • Agglomerating or ropy detergent or additive can be diluted in some water before pouring it into the detergent dispenser, to avoid its inlet to get blocked and thus cause a water overflow.
  • Please choose the suitable type of detergent to get a maximum of washing performance and a minimum of water and energy consumption
  • To achieve the best cleaning result a proper detergent dosing is important.
  • Use a reduced detergent amount if the drum is not filled completely.
  • Always adjust the amount of detergent to the water hardness, if your tap water is soft, use less detergent.
  • Dose according to how dirty your laundry is, less dirty clothes require less detergent.
  • Highly concentrated (compact detergent) requires particularly accurate dosing.

Following symptoms are a sign of detergent overdosing:

  • heavy foam formation
  • poor washing and rinsing result

Following symptoms are a sign of detergent underdosing:

  • laundry turns grey
  • built-up of limescale deposits on the drum, the heating element and/or the laundry

  • The new EU energy efficiency class is D Energy test program: ECO 40-60; Other as the default. Half load for 7.0Kg machine:3.5Kg. Quarter load for 7.0Kg machine:2.0Kg.

1) The highest temperature reached by the laundry in the wash cycle for at least 5 minutes.
2) Residual moisture after the wash cycle in water content percent and the spin speed at which this was achieved.
3) The ECO 40-60 programme is able to clean normally soiled cotton laundry declared to be washable at 40° C or 60° C, together in the same cycle. This programme is used to assess the compliance with the regulation (EU) 2019/2023.

The most efficient programmes in terms of energy consumption are generally those that perform at lower temperatures and longer duration.

Loading the household washing machine up to the capacity indicated for the respective programmes will contribute to energy and water savings.

Noise and remaining moisture content are influenced by the spinning speed: the higher the spinning speed in the spinning phase, the higher the noise and the lower the remaining moisture content.

① Caution!

- If there is any break in the power supply while the machine is operating, a special memory stores the selected programme. The machine will continue the programme when the power supply is re-established.
