Connect the microphone by inserting it into the base. Cover the microphone with the supplied sponge, which will work as anti-pop filter.

IT IS POSSIBLE TO POWER THE MICROPHONE IN 2 WAYS:

  • With two AAA batteries (to access the battery compartment, remove the cover on the bottom of the base).
  • With +48V phantom power, by connecting the included XLR/XRL cable to a mixer, where phantom power supply has been activated. WARNING: don't leave the batteries inside the microphone when you are using phantom power.

When the microphone is powered, by pressing the on/off button the led on the base will light up, as well as the red ring on the microphone upper part. If they don't light up it means that the microphone is not correctly powered.

To transmit the microphone signal it is possible to use both the included XLR/XLR cable and the XLR/6.3mm cable (the latter only if the microphone is powered by batteries, not by phantom).
