Frequently Asked Questions - MAD-025 Linsol

How do I install the Linsol MAD-025 faucet?
Install the faucet by following the step-by-step instructions in the manual. Typically, you insert the faucet through the sink hole, secure it with the mounting nut, connect the supply lines to the water shut-off valves, and tighten all connections.
What tools are required for installation?
You will need an adjustable wrench, a basin wrench, plumber's tape, and a screwdriver. Some installations may also require a silicone sealant for a watertight fit.
Why is my faucet dripping after installation?
A drip may be due to a loose valve cartridge or worn O-ring. Check that the cartridge is properly seated and tightened. If the problem persists, replace the O-rings or contact support.
How do I clean and maintain the chrome finish?
Clean the faucet with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals that can damage the chrome. Dry after cleaning to prevent water spots.
Can I use the faucet with low water pressure?
Yes, the faucet works with standard residential water pressure. For very low pressure (< 0.5 bar), ensure the supply lines are not kinked and the aerator is clean.
Is the MAD-025 compatible with all sink types?
It is designed for single-hole sinks with a standard 1-3/8 inch (35mm) hole. For sinks with larger holes, a deck plate (escutcheon) may be required.
How do I replace the cartridge?
Turn off water supply, remove the handle, unscrew the retaining nut, and pull out the old cartridge. Insert the new cartridge, reassemble, and restore water. Ensure the cartridge is the correct model.
What is the maximum water temperature?
The recommended maximum water temperature is 140°F (60°C). Higher temperatures may damage internal seals and pose a scalding risk.
Does the faucet come with a warranty?
Yes, Linsol offers a limited lifetime warranty against defects in material and workmanship. Keep your purchase receipt for warranty claims.
Are spare parts available for purchase?
Yes, spare parts such as cartridges, handles, aerators, and O-rings can be ordered through Linsol or authorized dealers. Check the manual for part numbers.

HANDYHINTSTBOR INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE

CLEANING

  • A soft cloth is ideal for cleaning all chrome plated tapware. Never use an abrasive or harsh substance. Only use a mild liquid detergent to remove build-up and tough surface film.
  • Regular cleaning with a soft cotton cloth will keep your tapware looking as good as the day you bought it.

INSTALLATION

  • All tapware must be installed by a licensed plumber and must be installed to AS/NZS 3500 Series Standards
  • Isolating stop valves must be installed with all applicable tapware.
  • All new connections need to be flushed before installing any tapware to remove any shavings or impurities from the water lines.
  • Linsol does not recommend dismantling the internal parts of any mixers as they have already been individually tested.
  • If the incoming water pressure exceeds 1200kpa an approved pressure limiting valve must be used, and the tapware has not been tested for water pressure under 150kpa

Failure to comply with any of the above will void all warranties.
