NOTE: This Automatic Rice Cooker has been designed with a Thermal Fuse which may shut off the electric supply when any abnormality cases such as above occurred.

When cooking other than rice, ensure that the Lid is removed to prevent overflow.

- Measure rice with the Measuring Cup provided. One cup of uncooked rice makes approximately 3 cups of cooked rice. Wash the rice in another bowl until water is relatively clear.
- Transfer the washed rice into the Pan. Add water according to the Water Level Indicator on the Pan. (e.g., To cook '10' cups of rice, add water to Water Level Indicator '10'.)

MAXIMUM LEVEL Do not cook more than this amount.
The Water Level Indicator of the Pan is for reference. Adjust the amount of water to your personal taste. Level the rice evenly after water adjustment is completed.
NOTE: Do not cook less than minimum specified capacity (Refer to Specifications table on page 14).
- Place the Pan into the Body. In order to place it correctly on the Heating Plate, turn the Pan gently to right and left. Cover with the Lid and let the rice soak approximately 30 minutes for better rice cooking.

- Attach the Socket to the Cooker Socket and plug in to power supply source. Power Indicator Lamp will light up immediately.

If the Pan is not placed properly into the Body, the cooking function will not start.
- Press the Switch Button down. RICE COOKING Indicator will change to orange colour indicating that cooking has started.

- When the rice has been cooked, the Switch Button will pop up automatically. KEEP WARM Indicator will change to orange colour indicating KEEP WARM function has started.
- After the Switch Button pops up, leave the Lid covered for at least 15 minutes to steam the rice. Then, mix the rice well by using a rice scoop (not provided) to allow water vapor to escape (especially when cooking towards maximum quantity).
- Unplug from power supply source after use. (Grasp at Plug, not Cord.)
