Frequently Asked Questions - RDA-ENC6B AMX

What is the AMX RDA-ENC6B used for?
The AMX RDA-ENC6B is a 6U rack enclosure designed to house AMX control system components such as processors, amplifiers, or other modules. It provides secure mounting and cable management for professional AV installations.
What are the dimensions of the RDA-ENC6B?
The enclosure measures 10.5 inches high, 19 inches wide, and 12 inches deep (267mm x 483mm x 305mm), fitting standard 19-inch racks at 6 rack units.
Is the RDA-ENC6B compatible with other brands?
While designed for AMX components, the standard 19-inch rack format allows mounting of other 6U devices, but compatibility with non-AMX modules is not officially guaranteed.
Does the enclosure include a cooling fan?
The RDA-ENC6B relies on passive ventilation via vented front and rear panels. It does not include active cooling fans, but you can install optional fan modules if needed.
