How do I set up the ASUS DSL-N10S router?
Connect the router to your phone line using the ADSL cable. Power it on and connect your computer to one of the LAN ports. Open a web browser and go to http://192.168.1.1. Log in with default username admin and password admin. Follow the Quick Setup wizard.

Press and hold the Reset button on the back of the router for about 10 seconds until the power LED starts flashing. Release the button; the router will reboot with factory settings.

Check the router's placement: keep it central and elevated, away from walls and electronics. You can also change the wireless channel in Wireless > Advanced to reduce interference.

Go to Advanced Setup > NAT > Port Forwarding. Add a rule with the service name, port range, local IP address of your device, and protocol (TCP/UDP). Enable the rule and apply.
Can I use the router as a wireless repeater?
No, the DSL-N10S does not support WDS or repeater mode. It is designed for ADSL connection only.
How do I update the firmware?
Download the latest firmware from the ASUS support website. Log into the router, go to System Setup > Firmware Upgrade. Browse for the downloaded file and click Upload. Do not power off during the update.
What do the LED indicators mean?
Power: solid on when powered. ADSL: green when connected, blinking when syncing. WLAN: solid when wireless is enabled. LAN 1-4: on when connected, blinking during activity.
