How do I turn on the Broadcast speaker?
Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds until you hear a startup tone and the LED lights up.
How do I pair via Bluetooth?
Turn on the speaker, then press the Bluetooth button. The LED will flash blue. On your device, select 'Newline Broadcast' from the Bluetooth list.
Can I use the microphone while playing music?
Yes, the built-in microphone works in PA mode and will override the music when you speak. Use the microphone volume dial to adjust.
How do I charge the battery?
Connect the included AC adapter to the DC IN port. The LED will turn red while charging and green when fully charged.
What does the FM radio require?

Getting Started

The Broadcast software will be preinstalled on devices and therefore, no installation of software is required. The Broadcast client is a web-based application, which requires a web browser.

A session is started by opening the Broadcast application and interacting with the “Start broadcast” button.

Each broadcast will create its own unique URL, which can be copied to the clipboard and shared with users.

Users can interact with the “Enlarge” option to enlarge the broadcast information. This is designed to help users view the broadcast information from afar.

Joining a broadcast

Joining a session can be achieved through one of the methods below:

  • By using the link sent by the broadcast host.
  • By navigating to the URL http://displaynote.com/broadcast and using the unique 6-digit Broadcast ID to join the session, as shown in the screenshot below:

Leaving a session is achieved by interacting with the “Stop” button while a broadcast is active.
