Frequently Asked Questions - R7380X1EU NEFF

How do I clean the fluff filter?
Clean the fluff filter after each drying cycle. Open the door, remove fluff from the door area. Pull out the filter, fold it open, and wipe off the fluff with your hand. If very dirty, rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly before reinserting.
How do I empty the condensate container?
Empty the condensate container after each drying operation. Pull it out horizontally, pour out the condensation, and push it back in fully until it clicks into place.
What should I do if the laundry is not dry enough?
First, check if the load exceeds the maximum capacity. Then finely adjust the dryness level to a higher setting (levels 1-3). Clean the moisture sensors in the drum with a damp rough sponge, as limescale can affect performance. Also ensure the fluff filter is clean.
Can I stack this dryer on top of a washing machine?
Yes, the dryer can be placed on a suitable washing machine of the same width and depth using the stack connection set (order number WZ 20300). This kit must be used to securely fasten the dryer.
What programmes are available?
The dryer offers multiple programmes: Cottons, Synthetics, Super 40, Wool, Outdoor, 20 min., Dessous, and Timed Programme. Each is designed for specific fabric types and loads.
How do I clean the moisture sensors?
Open the door and locate the stainless steel moisture sensors. Clean them with a damp sponge that has a rough surface. Do not use steel wool or abrasive materials, as this can damage the sensors.
What does the anti-crease function do?
The automatic anti-crease function causes the drum to move at specific intervals after the programme ends, preventing laundry from settling and reducing creases. It extends the anti-creasing phase once the programme has completed.
How do I replace the drum interior light?
Unplug the dryer. Remove the cover cap in the interior above the door using a Torx 20 screwdriver. Replace the bulb with an E14, 25 W lamp. Close the cover cap securely. Never operate the dryer without the cover cap.
What safety precautions should I take?
Keep children under 3 years old away from the dryer. Do not leave children unsupervised near it. Always unplug before cleaning or maintenance. Do not use if damaged. Ensure the area is well-ventilated and the air inlet is unobstructed.
Why does the dryer show a flashing indicator light?
Flashing indicator lights may indicate issues like a full condensate container, a blocked fluff filter, or a door left open. Check these items first. If the problem persists, refer to the troubleshooting section in the manual.

Installation

  • Delivery specification: dryer, instructions for installation and use, woollens basket (depending on model).
  • Check dryer for transport damage.
  • The dryer is very heavy. Do not attempt to lift it on your own.
  • Be careful to avoid sharp edges.
  • Do not lift the dryer by any of the protruding parts (e.g. the door) as they may break off.
  • Do not set up in a room that is susceptible to frost. Freezing water may cause damage.
  • If in doubt, have the appliance connected by an expert.

Setting up the dryer

  • The appliance plug must always be accessible.
  • Ensure that the appliance is installed on a clean, level and solid surface.
  • Keep the cooling grille at the front of the dryer unobstructed.
  • Keep the area around the dryer clean.
  • Make the dryer level using the threaded feet and a spirit level. Do not remove the threaded feet under any circumstances.

NEFF R7380X1EU - Setting up the dryer - 1

Do not set up the dryer behind a door or sliding door as this may obstruct or prevent the dryer door from opening. This will prevent a potentially fatal danger to children from locking themselves in.

NEFF R7380X1EU - Setting up the dryer - 2

Take all accessory parts out of the drum. The drum must be empty.

Clean and level Make sure that the air inlet remains unobstructed

Laundry is not dried correctly or is still too damp. After the end of the programme, warm laundry feels damper than it actually is. Spread the laundry out and allow the heat to disperse. Finely adjust the dryness level - this extends the drying time but does not increase the temperature. Your laundry will become drier. Select a programme with a longer drying time or increase the drying level. This does not increase the temperature. Select a lime programme for extended drying of laundry that is still damp. If you have exceded the maximum load for the programme, the laundry may not be dried correctly. Clean the moisture sensor in the drum. A fine layer of limescale may adversely affect the performance of the sensors and your washing will not dry properly. Drying has been interrupted as a result of a power cut, because the condensate container is full or because the maximum drying time has been exceeded.
Insufficient supply of air Air inlet possibly blocked Ambient temperature higher than 35°C
The humidity in the room increases significantly.Make sure the room is sufficiently ventilated.
Power failure.Remove laundry from the dryer immediately and spread out. This allows the heat to dissipate. Be careful as the door, the drum and the laundry may be hot.

The interior light is not working (depending on model).Pull out the appliance plug, remove the cover cap in the interior above the door (use Torx 20 screw driver) and replace the bulb. Close the cover cap. Never operate the dryer without a cover cap.
