The instructions for use are part of this product. They contain important information about safety, usage and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all instructions regarding safety and use. Use the product only as described and for the specified range of applications. Please also pass on all documents to any future owner.

Intended use

This appliance is only intended for drying shoes. Only use the appliance indoors. The appliance is intended exclusively for private use and not for commercial use. Only use the appliance for its intended purpose. Any use other than that described above or any modification of the appliance is not permitted and may result in injury and/or damage. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper use.

DANGER!

■ Check the appliance for visible external damage before use. Do not operate an appliance that has been damaged or dropped.
■ If the power cord or power plug of this appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their customer service or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.
■ The power cord of the appliance must not be crushed or pinched. Ensure that the power cord cannot be damaged by sharp edges or hot surfaces. Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
■ Unplug the appliance from the power outlet after each use, in the event of malfunctions during operation and before cleaning the appliance.
■ Never pull the power plug out of the power outlet by the power cord or with wet hands.
■ Use the appliance in a location where nobody can trip over the power cord.

■ Only use the appliance in dry indoor areas.

■ This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are being supervised or have been instructed with regard to the safe use of the appliance and have understood the potential risks. Do not allow children to play with the appliance.

■ Cleaning and user maintenance tasks may not be carried out by children unless they are supervised and older than 8 years.

■ Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. The appliance and its connecting cable must be kept away from children.

■ Switch off the appliance after each use and before cleaning it.

■ Do not operate the appliance with an extension cable, adapter or via a multi-outlet power strip.

Operation and use

Switching the appliance on and off

• Insert the power plug ② of the appliance into a suitable, freely accessible power outlet. The power plug ② must be fully inserted into the power outlet.
  Switch on the appliance by pressing the On/Off switch I/O ①. The Timer LED 3h ④ lights up red.
  Switch off the appliance by pressing the On/Off switch I/O ①. The Timer LED 3h/6h/9h ④/⑤/⑥ goes out. Pull the power plug ② of the appliance out of the power outlet when you have finished using it.

▶ After switching on, the timer setting 3 hours (3h) is used by default.

Drying shoes

ATTENTION!

▶ Do not cover the appliance during operation.

The appliance is suitable for drying shoes from shoe size 34 (EU)/2 (UK). Pull out the heating elements ③ if necessary (see Fig. 1).

The appliance is suitable for boots up to a shaft height of 50 cm.

The appliance heats up to a maximum of 56^ircC during operation and then keeps this temperature constant.

▶ Do not use the appliance for more than 9 hours continuously. Ensure a sufficient supply of air.

▶ Only use one heating element ③ per shoe.

Switch on the appliance and insert one heating element ③ into each of the shoes to be dried. Keep a distance of approx. 2 cm from the toe of the shoe so that the warm air can circulate in the shoe. After about 10 minutes, the appliance has reached its maximum temperature of 56°C.

Leave the heating elements ③ in the shoes until they are dry.

Switch off the appliance, pull the power plug ② out of the outlet and remove the heating elements ③ from the shoes.

◆ Place the appliance on a heat-resistant surface to cool down.

Setting the heating time

The appliance has a timer that you can use to set the desired heating time of 3, 6 or 9 hours.

When switched onpress the Timer 📊 ⑦ button several times to set a heating time of 3, 6 or 9 hours. The corresponding Timer LED 3h/6h/9h ④/⑤/⑥ lights up red.

Once the set heating period is over, the appliance automatically switches to standby mode. The three Timer LEDs 3h/6h/9h 4/5/6 flash.

Cleaning

WARNING!

▶ Before cleaning, always disconnect the power plug from the power outlet.

▶ Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning it. Clean the appliance only when it is cool.

ATTENTION!

▶ To avoid irreparable damage to the appliance, ensure that no moisture gets into it during cleaning.

▶ Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids, and protect it from splashing water.

▶ Do not use abrasive, aggressive or chemical cleaning agents. They could damage the outer surfaces of the appliance.

- Only clean the surface of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth and a mild detergent.

Storage

If you are not using the appliance, disconnect it from the power supply and store it in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight.

The adjacent symbol of a crossed-out dustbin means that this appliance is subject to Directive 2012/19/EU. Warranty conditions

The warranty period starts on the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt in a safe place. This will be required as proof of purchase. If any material or manufacturing fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you or refund the purchase price (at our discretion). This warranty service requires that you present the defective appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt) within the three-year warranty period, along with a brief written description of the fault and of when it occurred.

If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the beginning of a new warranty period.

Warranty period and statutory claims for defects

The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.

Scope of the warranty

This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.

The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or to fragile parts which could be considered as consumable parts such as switches or parts made of glass.

The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against must be avoided.

This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use of force and modifications / repairs which have not been carried out by one of our authorised Service centres.
