Frequently Asked Questions - MX10EUBK MIDEA

How do I charge the Midea MX10EUBK for the first time?
Place the vacuum upright onto the charging base and connect the power plug to a 220-240V~ outlet. The screen will display charging status. A full charge takes about 4 hours. The machine will automatically power off when fully charged.
Can I use the vacuum on carpets?
No, this model is designed for hard floors only (e.g., wood, tile, stone, marble). Using it on thick carpets may reduce performance and damage the brush roll.
How do I switch between cleaning modes?
Press the Mode button to toggle between Auto mode (water dispensing + suction) and Quick Suction mode (dry vacuum only). Press the Turbo button for heavy stain removal, which increases brush speed and water flow.
What should I do if the vacuum stops spraying water?
First, check if the clean water tank is empty. If the tank is low, a voice prompt will alert you. Refill with tap water (and cleaning liquid if desired). Ensure the tank is properly installed (click into place). Also, clean the tank filter if clogged.
How do I perform self-cleaning and drying?
Place the vacuum on the charging base, ensure it is charging, and step on the pedal of the base. Self-cleaning (2 minutes) cleans the roller brush and internal pipes. After that, drying (50 minutes) uses warm air to dry the brush. You can stop by stepping on the pedal for 3 seconds or pressing the On/Off button.
How often should I clean the wastewater tank?
It is recommended to empty and rinse the wastewater tank after each use to prevent odors. Remove the top cover, pour out wastewater, and clean with water. Reinstall the filter after drying.
What should I do if the suction power decreases?
Check for blockages: ensure the roller brush, cover, and wastewater tank are properly installed. Clean the roller brush of hair/debris, wipe the floor brush suction port, and clear any blockage in the pipes. Also, clean and dry the wastewater tank filter thoroughly before reinstalling.
Can I use any cleaning liquid with this vacuum?
Only use Midea-approved or company-recommended cleaning liquids. Avoid acidic, alkaline, or harmful substances. Excessive detergent may produce excess foam that can damage the motor. Follow the dosage instructions on the bottle.
Why does the vacuum make a loud noise during operation?
Loud noise may indicate a blockage in the floor brush suction port, pipe, or a full wastewater tank. Turn off the machine, remove blockages, and empty the tank. Also, ensure the air duct and filter are properly installed.
How do I clean the roller brush?
Press the latch to remove the roller brush cover and brush. Use the provided cleaning brush with a rotating blade to cut away entangled hair. Rinse the roller brush and cover with clean water and allow to dry completely before reinstalling. Ensure a click sound when installing back.
