Suggestions

  • A smaller amount of food requires a slightly shorter preparation time, a larger amount of food requires a slightly longer preparation time.
  • It is recommended not to fill the air fryer basket more than 34 of its capacity. The maximum amount of ingredients that can be prepared depends on the type of food you want to prepare.
  • Shaking smaller ingredients halfway through the preparation time optimizes the final result and can help avoid uneven cooking of the ingredients.
  • Prepared packaged snacks can be cooked quickly and easily. Prepackaged dough also requires a shorter preparation time than homemade dough.
  • Insert a roasting pan or dish into the air fryer basket if you are cooking a pie or quiche, or if you are cooking flaky foods or filled ingredients.
  • You can also use the air fryer to heat ingredients by setting the temperature to 150^ for up to 10 minutes.
  • It is advisable to wait a few minutes for the machine to cool down when it is necessary to start another cooking. Keep warming no more than 1 hour.
  • If using oven-ready snacks, do not add oil as they are usually pre-fried and become golden and crispy when prepared in the air fryer.
  • If they are not crispy and remain pale, check the following:

A. The amount of ingredients: Put small batches of ingredients into the basket. Cover the bottom of the basket with a single layer. Smaller batches are fried more evenly.

B. The preparation time: If you have not preheated the appliance before inserting the food, make sure you add an extra 3 minutes to the preparation time when setting the timer.

C. Most foods need the indicated prep time to get fully cooked.

D. If some foods such as snacks pop when cooked in the air fryer, choose a shorter preparation time.

Cleaning and maintenance

Warning: allow the basket, the grill and the interior of the appliance to cool down completely before starting to clean. The basket and the grill are made with a non-stick coating. Do not use metal kitchen utensils or abrasive cleaning materials to clean them, as this may damage the finish.

Clean the appliance after each use. Remove the oil and fat from the bottom of the pan after each use to avoid smoke.

1) Switch off the machine, remove the plug from the wall socket and let the appliance cool down for 15 minutes.

Tip: Remove the basket to allow the fryer to cool more quickly.

2) Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.

3) Clean the basket and the grill with hot water, a little washing-up liquid and a non-abrasive sponge. Note: the basket and rack are dishwasher safe.

Tip: If food scraps are stuck to the basket or rack, you can soak them in hot water with dish soap for 10-15 minutes. Soaking will loosen food residue and make it easier to remove. The quality of your detergent determines how easy it is to remove food and grease residues. Be sure to use a dish soap that dissolves oil and grease. If there are grease stains on the basket or rack and you have not been able to remove them with hot water and dish soap, use a liquid degreaser. Tip: You can use a degreasing liquid to remove residual dirt.

4) Clean the inside of the appliance with hot water and a non-abrasive sponge. Any other maintenance must be performed by an authorized service centre.

Storage

1) Unplug the appliance and let it cool down.

2) Make sure all parts are clean and dry before storing the appliance.
