  • Start with a lock of hair about 5 cm wide, open the clip (3) by pressing down the handle. Position the appliance about halfway down the lock of hair.
  • Distribute the hair evenly across the cylinder (2) and close the clip carefully to trap the hair.
  • Gently pull the appliance down towards the hair ends.
  • Make sure that the ends of your hair are trapped securely under the clip. Then wind the lock of hair around the cylinder up towards the scalp. Be careful not to allow the hot cylinder to come into contact with your scalp.

  • Hold the appliance there for 5-8 seconds, depending on the length and thickness of your hair. Do not allow the appliance to heat an area for too long as this can damage your hair.

  • Open the clip and withdraw the appliance from your hair.
  • Allow hair to cool before setting.
