How to install the server in a rack?
Attach the included rack rails to the server and the rack. Slide the server onto the rails and secure with screws. Ensure proper ventilation and weight distribution.
How to replace a failed hard drive?
Press the release button on the drive tray, pull out the tray, remove the old drive, insert a new drive into the tray, and slide it back until it clicks. The RAID controller will automatically rebuild if configured.
How to reset the IPMI password?
Connect to the IPMI via serial or network, use the default credentials (admin/admin). If locked, use the motherboard jumper to clear CMOS or reset IPMI settings.
What is the default BIOS password?
The default BIOS password is usually empty. If set, try 'admin' or 'supermicro'. Reset by clearing CMOS via jumper.
