- Read the instruction manual carefully before use, and save it for future use.
- Plug the appliance to a household outlet of 220-240V only, and use the appliance only for the intended use.

- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children, unless they are over the age of 8 and supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under the age of 8.
- Check that the cord is not hanging over the edge of the table.
- Do not place the appliance on or near hotplates, open fire or the like.

The appliance is not for outdoor use.

Check that the cord does not come into contact with the hot exteriors and the baking plates of the appliance, and do not attempt to move the appliance when it is hot.

The surfaces are liable to get hot during use. Do not touch the hot exteriors of the sandwich toaster, and let the appliance cool off before cleaning.

Use only wooden utensils on the baking plates, in order not to damage the non-stick coating.

When the appliance is disconnected, always pull the plug, never disconnect by pulling the cord.

Caution: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.

Always examine appliance, cord and plug for damage before use. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, or his service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

Before use
Wipe the plates with a damp cloth before use.
Use
For the first use, smear the cooking plate with oil and toast two slices of bread according to the instructions below.
Place the sandwich grill on the table. Connect to an outlet, the red lamp will turn on. Check that the cord do not come in contact with the sandwich grill since the housing will be hot during use. Prepare the sandwiches while the grill warms up. Filling in the middle and spread some butter on the toasts outside for a crisp result.
When the green lamp turns on the appliance is ready to use. Place the bread on the plates with the buttered side outwards. Close the sandwich grill by pressing the handles together and lock with the clasp on the handle. NB! If the handle can not be closed there is too much filling. Never close the lid with undue force as this could do damage to the grill. The sandwiches will be ready after approx. 4 minutes depending on the filling, bread and personal taste. Open the clasp and the sandwich grill. Note! The green thermostat lamp will turn on and off during use showing that the thermostat keeps the right temperature.
After use
Unplug the appliance. Let the appliance cool and clean the plates with a dish brush while the plates are still lukewarm. Wait with further cleaning until the appliance is completely cooled down.
Cleaning
The appliance and its cord must never be immersed in water or other liquids or be cleaned under running water.
When cool, the plates can be cleaned with kitchen roll paper or a damp cloth. Never use sharp utensils or abrasive cleaners when cleaning the plates since the coating can be damaged.
The housing can be wiped with a damp cloth and kitchen roll paper. Avoid abrasive cleaners that can damage the housing.
Important!
This appliance is not a toy. Keep children under supervision during use since it gets very hot.
Recipe
Cheese sandwich
4 slices of bread, butter, 2 slices of cheese and 2 slices of ham. Butter one side of the bread slices. Place the buttered sides towards the plate. Add cheese and ham and place the last pieces of bread with the buttered side upwards. Close the lid and lock the clasp. After approx. 4 minutes the sandwiches are ready to eat. Serve while still hot.
Other suggestions of filling:
- Smoked pork sausage/smoked saddle of pork/ham, tomato, cheese, mustard.
• Hamburger, raw union, pickled gherkin, tomato, cheese - Chicken, pineapple, capsicum, curry
• Garlic butter, salt and pepper, clams and cheese - Smoked salmon, crème fraîche, shopped dill
- Thin slices of potatoes, union, shopped eggs, caviar and cheese
- Mushrooms cooked in cream, cheese, tomato, oregano
- Tomato and fried bacon
Disposal of the device

Legislation requires that all electrical and electronic equipment must be collected for reuse and recycling. Electrical and electronic equipment marked with the symbol indicating separate collection of such equipment must be returned to a municipal waste collection point.

OBH Nordicas sole obligation and your exclusive resolution under this guarantee are limited to such repair or replacement.
Conditions & Exclusions
OBH Nordica shall not be obliged to repair or replace any product which is not accompanied by a valid proof of purchase.
The defective product may be returned to the store of purchase.
This guarantee applies only for products purchased and used for domestic purposes and will not cover any damage which occurs as a result of misuse, negligence, failure to follow OBH Nordica instructions, or a modification or
unauthorised repair of the product, faulty packaging by the owner or mishandling by any carrier. It also does not cover normal wear and tear, maintenance or replacement of consumable parts, or the following:
- using the wrong type of water or consumable
- mechanical damages, overloading
- damages or poor results specifically due to wrong voltage or frequency as stamped on the product ID or specification
- ingress of water, dust or insects into the product
- scaling (any de-scaling must be carried out according to the instructions for use)
- damage as a result of lightning or power surges
- damage to any glass or porcelain ware in the product
- accidents including fire, flood, etc
- professional or commercial use

OBH Nordica's commercial guarantee does not affect the Statutory Rights a consumer may have or those rights that cannot be excluded or limited, nor rights against the retailer from which the consumer purchased the product. This guarantee gives a consumer specific legal rights, and the consumer may also have other legal rights which vary from Country to Country. The consumer may assert any such rights at his sole discretion.
