INTENDED USE

This split air conditioner is only intended for heating indoor domestic spaces and similar. Do not operate in dusty places or in presence of extremely volatile materials (they could block the grills), in places with a high level of humidity, in presence of flammable products, or outdoors. This appliance is to be considered as an additional heating appliance and not as the central heating. Any other use is considered improper and can lead to property damages or even personal injury.

INSTALLING THE PRODUCT

Before installing the product, make sure that:

• the air outlet grill has a at least 100 cm of free space on the front, and at least 40 cm on the sides.
• the suction part placed under the cover has to be free from any obstacle (coverings, curtains, etc.) that might limit the suction function making the appliance overheat or brake. Keep away from other heat sources and far from bathtubs or showers in order to avoid that water drops or that steam reaches the appliance.

• the heating system has to be installed at 1.8 m at least from the floor.

• Remove the appliance from the box.

• Drill two perfectly horizontal holes in the wall at 2 m at least from the floor.
• Insert the anchors in the holes and tighten the screws supplied making sure that they are secured well before hanging the air conditioner.
• Place the air conditioner.

OPERATING THE APPLIANCE

1. Plug the appliance into the outlet.
2. Press the on/off switch once: the motor will start and the indicator lights will turn on.
3. Press it a second time: 1000 W power will be reached. The heating indicator lights will turn on.
4. Press it a third time: 2000 W power will be reached. The corresponding indicator lights will turn on.
5. Press the “timer” button once in order to set the auto shut-off time of the appliance (between 30 minutes and 7 hours and 30 minutes).

This appliance also features a remote control. Point the remote at the control panel situated on the appliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning the appliance, switch it off, unplug and let it cool down. Protect the front part from dust in order to preserve its reflective power. Clean the main body with a soft, slightly damp cloth; do not use metal foams or abrasive products.

When the heater is not in use, cover it and store it in a dry place. It is recommended to store the appliance in its original box to protect it from dust and moisture.
