▶ Prior to the first use, thoroughly read the operation manual
▶ Maximal scale load amounts 5000g (scale before tarring)
The appliance is supplied with CR 2032 3V battery i.e. a very low and safe voltage. Any hazard is created if it is used in accordance with its purpose.
▶ The appliance should be stored in horizontal position.
▶ The appliance must not be stored in vertical position.
The scale has been designed as a precise measuring device. Therefore it should be handled with care, must not be dropped, thrown nor bounced. The scale should be protected against any sudden shocks, strong impacts and drops
▶ The scale should be positioned on a clean, flat and dry surface
▶ The scale should be protected against any impact of water, high or low temperatures and moisture
▶ The appliance must not be stored in a dry area
The product has been designed exclusively for the use in household only.
▶ Unless the appliance is used during prolonged period, remove the battery from the container
▶ Unless the results of the weight measurement are displayed correctly, check the couple contact for adherence. Replace the batteries for the new ones unless the appliance was out of service during prolonged period.

APPLIANCE DESCRIPTION

The scale has been designed for an accurate measurement of products weigh and its service life should be long, provided that the appliance is used in proper conditions. The appliance is supplied by means of CR 2032 3V battery which accessible after the opening of the container incorporating the batteries. When replacing the battery pay attention on its correct installation and the couple polarity. The scale has been provided with the switch pushbutton being simultaneously used for its tarring. In order to enable the selection of the weight units i.e. grams (g), ounces (oz) the appliance has been provided with weight units selector switch. Weight units conversion factor 1 oz = 28,35g

BEFORE FIRST USE

Before use, remove the plastic insulation from the battery. Please note that the battery has the correct polarity. Should read "+" along with the symbol CR 2032V cell, 3V

APPLIANCE USE

1. Position the scale on a dry and stable surface and make it sure that its position is stable. Any soft and unstable surfaces should be avoided.
2. Depress the switch pushbutton (6). The message „HELO“, and „0g” thereafter will be displayed.
3. After depression of the pushbutton (7), the selection of weighing units („g” for grams or „oz” for ounces) will be possible.
4. In order to commence the weighing place the product on the glass surface of scale. The unit is also equipped with zero and tare function.

Reset Function:

Reset function is activated when the weighted sum of the weights of less or no more than 200g. It is particularly useful when you add more components and allows you to specify the importance of individual components without having to add totals in memory.

Tare function

Tare function is to ignore the gravity of the container in which you weigh the products. Tare function is activated when the weight of the container in which you weigh the products is equal to or greater than 200g.

Note:

As with the measurement of weight you can proceed with the measurements of the volume of water or milk. Use the MODE button (7) change the manner of measurement products. Mark symbol on the display will indicate the function sequentially in units of measurement:

1. Maximum range of the appliance amounts 5000g (5kg) and its minimum range is equal range is equal to 2g, the measurement can be rounded up or down to 1g.
2. The appliance will be switched off automatically after 1 minute unless any repeated weighing cycle is commenced.
3. In order to switch off the scale earlier, depress and hold the switch pushbutton (6) depressed for about 5 seconds.

Attention: In case of scale overload (above 5000g) a message (EEEE) will be displayed on the display. In case of imprecise or illegible results of weighing, it is possible that the battery has incorrect contacts or became discharged.

A graphical symbol of battery will be displayed on the display or flashing message (Lo) in case of its extreme discharge..

1. In order to order to replace the battery, make it sure if the scale is turned off and position it upside down. The container incorporating the batteries is situated in the bottom part of the appliance. Depress the latch in order to replace the battery by the new one of correct type (CR 2032, 3V).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Clean the scale using slightly moistened cloth. Do not immerse in water. Do not use any chemicals or scratching detergents.
2. All elements of scale should be immediately cleaned after any contact with fats, spices, vinegar and intensively flavoured or colorizing agents. Avoid any contact with citric acid.
