HOW TO USE THE APPLIANCE

START

• make sure that the power cable (3) has no contact with the appliance
  -insert the power cable into the socket
• turn the appliance on by pressing the on/off switch (4), the control lamp will (5) glow. After about 2 minutes the appliance is ready to use
• after use press the on/off switch (4) and remove the power cable from the socket
• wait until the appliance cools down before putting it away

OPERATION

• the appliance is intended for hair straightening
• the hair must be combed, clean, slightly wet or dry
• the appliance cannot be used for artificial hair
• separate your hair into strands of several centimeters, put it between the plates (2) and clamp it firmly, then move the appliance slowly from the roots towards the hair tips
• ceramic coat of the plates (2) protects the hair against excessive temperature owing to smooth heat distribution
• the hair should not be kept in the straightener for more than 20 seconds
• the hair should be combed after having been cooled down

CLEANING AND PRESERVATION

• before cleaning remove the power cable from the socket
• the appliance cannot be submersed in water
• do not use any cleansing agents which are strong and damage the surface
• wipe the housing with a moistened cloth
