INSTRUCTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH USE SAFETY

Read the operating instructions carefully before use.
Do not hold the hairdryer with wet hands!
- Keep the appliance away from water!

Do not submerge the appliance, power cord or plug in water or other liquids!

Be especially careful when there are children around the appliance!

Do not hang the power cord on sharp edges and do not allow it to touch hot surfaces. The appliance must not be used if damaged, including if the power cord or plug is damaged - if it is then take the appliance to an authorised service point.

- Use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may result in damage to the appliance, fire or injury.

Do not use the hairdryer in the bath!

If the appliance accidentally falls in water, unplug it immediately!

- Never leave the appliance on unsupervised! - Do not place the appliance on hot surfaces.

When drying take care that hair does not become entangled in the air duct.

USING THE HAIR STRAIGHTENER

IMPORTANT! The appliance does not have a 120V/230 V switch!

1. The hairdryer has a system protecting it against overheating - if the air outlets are blocked it switches off automatically, then switches itself on again once it has cooled down.
2. During long drying sessions it is recommended that you switch the dryer off for a while.
3. Plug the dryer in, first ensuring that the switch is set to „0”.
4. Select the required drying speed and temperature.
5. Set the switch to „1” for a moderate air flow.
6. Set the switch to „2” for a strong air flow.
7. Use switch (1) for cold air flow (for model SS-1803).
8. After drying, set the switch to 0.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. The hairdryer does not require any special maintenance. Simply keep to the following rules.
2. The appliance should be kept clean for it to work properly. Never cover the air outlet as this could easily lead to the appliance overheating.
3. Always unplug the appliance after drying hair or before cleaning it.
4. The air nozzle should be cleaned with a brush from time to time.
5. The casing of the appliance may be cleaned with a damp cloth.
6. After drying, wait until the dryer cools down.
7. Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance!
