2. Center column height adjustment

① As shown in Fig 2, turn the Center Column Locking Knob "a" in a counter-clockwise direction, then you can adjustment the center column height.

② When you reach the desired height, turn Center Column Locking Knob 'a' in a clockwise direction to lock the center column.

3.Bail head and center column operation

①Remove/replace the center column: Loosen the Center Column Locking screw in a counter-clockwise direction and unscrew the center column by turning in a counter-clockwise direction. To replace, place the center column on the 3/8" screw and turn clockwise until tight. Tighten the Center Column Locking screw by turning in a clockwise direction with the Allen Key. Do not force or over tighten.
② Removing/replacing the ball head: Turn Ball Head Locking Knob "d" in a clockwise direction to lock the ball head and base. Use the Allen key to loosen the Ball Head Locking screw "g", turn the ball head in a counter-clockwise direction to remove it from the platform. To replace, turn the ball head in a clockwise direction, tighten screw "g" by turning Allen key in a clockwise direction. Do not force or over tighten.
③ Removing/attaching Mounting Platform: Use the Allen key to loosen the Mounting Platform Locking Screw "f" (turn counter-clockwise), turn the Mounting Platform and screw counter-clockwise and remove the Mounting Platform. To attach, turn the Mounting Platform and screw in a clockwise direction, until tight, and use the Allen key to tighten the Mounting Platform Locking screw. Do not force or over tighten. Use the same method to reverse the 1/4" and 3/8" screw.
① Remove/attach QR Plate: turn the QR Clamp Locking Knob "h" in a counter-clockwise direction to loosen the QR Clamp. When the QR Clamp is fully open, remove

the QR Plate by lifting it in 'f' direction. To attach the QR Plate, loosen the QR Clamp Locking Knob "h" in a counter-clockwise direction, place the QR Plate into the QR Clamp and tighten the QR Clamp Locking Knob by turning in a clockwise direction. Make sure the clamp is completely locked before releasing your camera.

4. Macro/Low angle Shooting

After removing the center column, attach the ball head to make macro/low angle shots from interesting positions.

5.Increased reach/self-portraits/remote videos

As shown in Fig 5, folding down the three legs can give you added reach to see over a crowd or conveniently position the camera for self-portraits or remote videos.

6. Opening/closing the tripod

To open the tripod, fold down the three legs and hold Center Column "b". Make sure the legs are positioned under the Tripod Leg Locking Knob and turn the Tripod Leg Locking Knob in a clockwise direction until it stops. Lift the legs up until they engage with the base of the Tripod Leg Locking Knob. You can now place a camera on the tripod. To close, move the feet down slightly, turn the Tripod Leg Locking Knob in a counter-clockwise direction and fold the feet up until they touch the Center Column.

Note: when the tripod legs are folded up, they provide an excellent grip when shooting videos!

7. Using the Short Center Column

The tripod with Short Center Column, folds down to 148mm without the ball head and 213mm with ball head and quick release plate attached. The Short Center Column lets the 3T-35 tripod fold shorter than the telescoping center column - making it easy to carry and light for travel.

Attention:

Do not exceed the recommended load limit of the head and/or tripod. (Please refer to product specifications).
⚠️ Please make sure that the locks are securely tightened when in use.
