Safety Instructions
- The timer may be used only in dry indoor areas (IP00). The timer must not be exposed to water or other fluids.
- Make sure the mains voltage and rated operating voltage of the timer are identical (230 V).
- The power supply socket must be equipped with grounded protective contact.
- Caution: Connecting the timer to heating elements is prohibited.
- Be sure to disconnect the timer from the mains before cleaning. Please use only dry or slightly moistened cloth. Avoid using any aggressive detergents!
- Safety lock is installed in the timer to protect it against manipulation by children. Nevertheless do not let children play with it or in its close vicinity.
- Make sure the timer is not exposed to great temperature changes and direct sun and does not absorb excessively high temperatures from floor heating or other heating elements.
- If the timer is not to be used for a long time please disconnect it from the mains.
- In the event of a damage to the timer or the connected appliance disconnect it immediately from the mains!
- Caution: The timer features "one-pole" switching off (microswitch); to disconnect it from the mains take out the timer power cord from the power supply socket!
- Any repairs can be performed only by qualified electrical installation specialists!
Please apply consistently the following procedure:
The timer is equipped with charging accumulator. Prior to programming the timer connect it to the power supply socket for at least 2.5 hours to charge the accumulator. Otherwise the settings you have made can be lost or not activated.
Setting the Timer
a) Programming actual time and day.
To set the actual time use the combination of "Uhr" (hour - device) and "Std" (hour - time) keys, and "Min" key, if necessary. (Please note: The timer has 24-hour time indication.)
To set the actual day (which is shown in the upper part of the display) use the combination of "Uhr" (hour - device) and "Woche" (week) keys.
To toggle the summer time use the combination of "Std" (hour - time) and "Min" keys. You need not to completely reprogramme the time at every change from summer to winter time and vice versa. Simply press simultaneously the two keys above. If the summer time is set its symbol is shown at the right edge of the display.

b) Programming switching functions
Please apply the following procedure: To access the switching function programming mode press the "Prog" key. When finished press "Uhr" (hour - device) key.
You can programme 8 ON/OFF combinations. For each combination you can determine if it should be valid for example for:
a) a day in week
b) working days (Monday - Friday)
c) weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
d) etc.
Press “Prog” (“on” appears on the display) and to set the required time at which the connected appliance is to be switched on press “Std” (hour - time) key, and “Min” key, if necessary. Press “Prog” key again to be able to set the required time at which the connected appliance is to be switched out (“off” appears on the display).
Now press "Woche" (week) key to set the required day on which the switch-over is to be executed. The programmed day or combination of days will be shown at the upper edge of the display.
To clear any incorrect time setting press "R". To restore the cleared time press "R" key again.
Repeat the steps above for each ON/OFF combination.
Press to activate the timer functions.
"AN" indication in the lower part of the display: The timer programming functions are deactivated but the connected appliance can be switched on manually.
"AUTO" indication in the lower part of the display: The timer programming functions are deactivated. The connected appliance will be switched on based on the time/day setting.
"AUS" indication in the lower part of the display: The timer programming functions are deactivated and the connected appliance cannot be switched on manually.
The timer features random function. Press “Woche” (week) and “Std” (hour - time) keys simultaneously. A circle appears at the right edge of the display. The ON/OFF combinations programmed by you will advance by 2 -32 minutes. This advance is made at random!
