Drücken Sie die Memory/Clock-Adj.-Taste, die Stundenanzeige blinkt. Stellen Sie die Stunden mit den Tasten ▶▶F-SKIP/UP oder ◀◀B-SKIP/DOWN ein. Drücken Sie erneut Memory/Clock-Adj., die Minutenanzeige blinkt. Stellen Sie die Minuten ein und drücken Sie nochmals Memory/Clock-Adj., um die Uhrzeit zu bestätigen.
Wie programmiere ich CD-Titel in einer bestimmten Reihenfolge?
Drücken Sie im Stopp-Modus die Memory-Taste. Wählen Sie mit den Skip-Tasten die gewünschte Titelnummer und bestätigen Sie mit Memory. Wiederholen Sie dies für bis zu 20 Titel. Starten Sie die Wiedergabe mit Play/Pause. Drücken Sie Stop, um die programmierte Wiedergabe zu beenden.
Wie aktiviere ich den Sleep-Timer?
Drücken Sie die Timer/Sleep-Taste. Die Anzeige zeigt '90' (Minuten). Mit den Skip-Tasten können Sie die Dauer auf 90, 60, 30 oder 15 Minuten einstellen. Drücken Sie Timer/Sleep erneut, um den Timer zu aktivieren. Das Gerät schaltet sich nach der eingestellten Zeit automatisch aus.
Warum springt die CD oder die Wiedergabe stockt?
Mögliche Ursachen: Die Disc ist verschmutzt oder verkratzt. Reinigen Sie die Disc vorsichtig mit einem weichen Tuch von der Mitte nach außen. Auch eine verschmutzte Linse kann die Ursache sein – reinigen Sie diese mit einem Pinselgebläse. Bei anhaltenden Problemen trennen Sie das Gerät für einige Sekunden vom Stromnetz.
Kann ich USB-Sticks oder externe Geräte anschließen?
Das Gerät verfügt über einen AUX-Eingang. Schließen Sie externe Geräte wie Smartphones oder MP3-Player über ein 3,5-mm-Klinkenkabel an den AUX-Anschluss an. Wählen Sie dann die Funktion AUX durch wiederholtes Drücken der Function-Taste.
Wie kann ich die Klangeinstellungen anpassen?
Drücken Sie die Preset EQ-Taste, um zwischen den Klangmodi Flat, Classic, Rock und Pop zu wechseln. Die Lautstärke stellen Sie mit den VOL +/–-Tasten ein. Für leises Hören schließen Sie Kopfhörer an die Phones-Buchse an.

Die Anzeige Stereo erscheint, wenn ein UKW-Sender in Stereo empfangen wird. Falls der Empfang rauscht, können Sie durch Drücken der Stop/Band-Taste auf Mono umschalten, um die Rauschunterdrückung zu verbessern.
Wie wechsle ich die Batterien in der Fernbedienung?

PRECAUTIONS

Follow the advice below for safe and appropriate operations.

ON PLACEMENT

  • Do not use the unit in places which are extremely hot, cold, dusty, or humid.
  • Place the unit on a flat and even surface.
  • Do not restrict the air flow of the unit by placing it in a place with poor air flow, by covering it with a cloth, or by placing it on a carpet.
  • The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing.

ON SAFETY

  • When connecting or disconnecting the AC cord, grip the plug and not the cord itself. Pulling the cord may damage it and create hazard.
  • When you are not going to use the unit for a long period of time, disconnect the AC power cord.

SYSTEM CONNECTIONS

  1. SPEAKER CONNECTING Connect the black wire to the (-) terminal. The red wire to the (+) terminal.

2. AC POWER CONNECTING

Before use, check the rated voltage (indicated at the rear of unit) of your system matches your local voltage.

ON CONDENSATION

- When left in a heated room where it is warm and damp, water droplets or condensation may form inside the CD player.

  • When there is condensation inside the unit, the unit may not function normally.
  • Let it stand for 1 to 2 hours before turning the power on, or gradually heat the room up and dry the unit before use.
  • Ensure a minimum distance of 5 cm around the apparatus for sufficient ventilation.
  • Ensure that the ventilation is not impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc..
  • Do not place naked flame sources, such as lighted candles on the apparatus.
    • Take attention to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
    • Use the apparatus only in moderate climates (not in tropical climates).
  • Do not expose the apparatus to dripping or splashing.
  • Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the apparatus.

Should any trouble occur, disconnect the AC power cord and refer servicing to qualified personnel.

CAUTION

• Make sure the speakers are well connected before plugging the AC power cord into an AC outlet.
• Power is fed to the unit even when it is in standby.

FITTING THE BATTERIES INTO THE REMOTE CONTROL

Remove the battery cover. Insert the batteries (2 x AAA SIZE battery, not included) as described inside the battery compartment. Close the battery door.

POWER ON/OFF AND FUNCTION CHANGE

  1. Power is on/off by pushing POWER STANDBY button.
  2. The function is changed cyclically
    by pushing function button :

WHEN RECORDING

The VOLUME control may be adjusted with no effect on the recorded signal.

FOR PRIVATE LISTENING

Plug in headphones (3.5 mm stereo mini-plug) to the PHONES jack. When headphones are plugged in, the speakers are automatically disconnected.

PRESET EQ

3 Preset EQ : FLAT, CLASSIC, ROCK, POP. Press Preset Equalizer button to select your preferred sound, preset mode is shown on the display

MUTE ON/OFF

The mute on/off is changed cyclically by pushing MUTE button.

The "mute" mark is on during mute is on.

The mute on is cancelled in case as shown below.

  1. The clock is displayed on CD display at power off condition.

  2. Press the Memory / Clock-Adj. button, hour of clock flash.

  3. Press the ▶▶F-SKIP/UP or ◀◀B-SKIP/DOWN to adjust hour digit.

  4. Press the Memory / Clock-Adj. button, the minute digit flash.

  5. Press the ▶▶ F-SKIP/UP or ◀◀ B-SKIP/DOWN to adjust minute digit.

  6. Press the Memory / Clock-Adj. button again, the correct time is shown on display.

  1. Release the button as soon as the frequency starts to change. The tuner will search up or down the selected band and stop at the next receivable station. When scanning stops, the frequency of the received station will be displayed.

  1. Press the "▶▶| F-SKIP/UP or ◀◀ B-SKIP/DOWN " button to selected the desired frequency.
  2. Press the "MEMORY" button.
  3. Press the "M-UP/F-UP" on radio to select the memory number, or Press the "PLAY MODE" on remote control to select the memory number.
  4. Press the "MEMORY" button again to confirm the selection.
  5. Press the "M-UP/F-UP" button to read the desired frequency.

Fully unwind the wire antenna. Then extend the wire antenna and place it in the position that sounds best.

  • Press either one of the |◀◀▶▶| skip buttons according to the desired skip direction.
    • Play/back resumes from the selected track.
  • When the ◀◀ button is pressed once during play, the previous track starts again.
  • When the ▶ button is pressed once during play, the next track plays.

SEARCHING FOR A PASSAGE WITHIN A TRACK

- Keep the ◀◀ or ▶▶ button pressed during playback, and release the button as soon as you recognise the desired passage. Then normal CD playback will resume from this point.

REPEAT, REPEAT ALBUM AND MIX PLAYBACK

Press PLAY MODE button during stop mode. CD plays with a single track repeat, all tracks repeat or randomly.

  • Because of non-standardized formal definition/ production of CD-R/RW, playback quality and performance are not guaranteed.
  • Manufacturer is not responsible for the playability of CD-R/RW due to recording conditions, such as PC performance, writing software, media ability, etc.
    Do not attach a seal or label to either side of the CD-R/RW disc. It may cause a malfunction.

FOLDER UP / DOWN

  • Press Folder up/ down to select desired folder.
  • Press up/ down to select desired songs.
  • Press play button to start playing. The word "MP3" will show on display.

Press folder up/down to select desired folder. Press up/down to select the desire track. The operations of buttons of play/pause, up/down and stop are the same as CD disc.

  • Song name, Singer name and album name can be displayed cyclically by pressing ID3 button during playing MP3.
  • Title-song name → Artist-singer name → Album-Album name
  • Press ID3 again to cancel ID3 display.

FOR NORMAL COMPACT DISC PLAYBACK

Programmed playback enables tracks on a disc to be played in the desired order. Up to 20 tracks can be programmed.

  1. Press the "MEMORY" button.
  2. Press the |◀◀▶▶| skip buttons to select the desired track number.
  3. Press "MEMORY" button again to memorize the track.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all desired tracks are programmed.
  5. Press the "PLAY/PAUSE" button to start. "MEMORY" is shown on the CD display.
  6. Press " STOP " button to stop programmed playback.
  7. Press "MEMORY" and "PLAY/PAUSE" buttons to resume programmed playback.
  8. Turn off the CD player to clear the programmed memory.

Programmed playback enables folders/albums or tracks on a disc to be played in the desired order. Up to 10 folders/albums or tracks can be programmed.

MAINTENANCE

CLEANING CD

If the CD skips or will not play, the disc may need cleaning. Before playing, wipe the disc from the centre out with a cleaning cloth.

After playing, store the disc in its case.

CLEANING THE CD LENS

If the CD lens is dusty, clean it with a brush-blower. Blow several times on the lens and remove the dust with the brush. Finger prints may be removed with a cotton swab

moistened with alcohol.

Do not use volatile chemicals on this unit. Clean by lightly wiping with a soft cloth.
