Wie schließe ich den MS120 Scanner an meinen Computer an?

Schließen Sie das USB-Kabel an den Scanner und einen freien USB-Port Ihres Computers an. Der Scanner wird automatisch als HID-Tastatur erkannt. Bei Bedarf können Sie den virtuellen COM-Port-Modus über die Programmierbarcodes in der Anleitung aktivieren.

Welche Barcodetypen kann der MS120 lesen?

Der Scanner unterstützt gängige 1D-Barcodes wie EAN/UPC, Code 39, Code 128, Interleaved 2 of 5, Codabar und GS1 DataBar.

Warum scannt der Scanner nicht?

Überprüfen Sie die USB-Verbindung, ob der Scanner eingeschaltet ist (leuchtet die LED?) und ob der Barcode nicht beschädigt ist. Reinigen Sie das Lesefenster mit einem weichen Tuch. Falls das Problem bestehen bleibt, führen Sie einen Werksreset durch (siehe Anleitung).

Wie reinige ich den Scanner richtig?

Verwenden Sie ein weiches, fusselfreies Tuch, leicht angefeuchtet mit Wasser oder einem milden Reinigungsmittel. Wischen Sie vorsichtig über das Lesefenster. Vermeiden Sie aggressive Chemikalien wie Alkohol oder Aceton.

Kann ich den Scanner mit einem iPad oder Smartphone verwenden?

Ja, sofern das Gerät USB-OTG unterstützt. Schließen Sie den Scanner über einen OTG-Adapter an. Der Scanner funktioniert als externe Tastatur.

Welche Betriebssysteme werden unterstützt?

Der MS120 ist kompatibel mit Windows (7/8/10/11), macOS und Linux. Er wird ohne zusätzliche Treiber als HID-Gerät erkannt.

Wie kann ich die Scan-Einstellungen ändern?

Der Scanner wird mit einem Satz Programmierbarcodes geliefert. Scannen Sie den gewünschten Code aus der Anleitung, um z.B. den Modus (HID/COM) oder Suffix zu ändern.

Was bedeutet die blinkende LED?

Ein dauerhaftes rotes Licht zeigt an, dass der Scanner bereit ist. Ein kurzes grünes Aufblinken bestätigt einen erfolgreichen Scan. Ein schnelles Blinken kann auf einen Fehler hinweisen – lesen Sie die Fehlerbeschreibung in der Anleitung.

Ist der Scanner sturzsicher?

Ja, der MS120 hält Stürze aus bis zu 1,2 Metern auf Beton stand. Dennoch empfehlen wir, ihn vorsichtig zu behandeln.

Setup Procedures

1) Locate a group that contains the parameters to be changed.
2) Scan the “Enter Group” label. The Reader will sound 3 beeps to indicate that setup is in progress.
3) Scan the label representing the parameter to be changed.
4) Scan the labels representing the parameter values.

5) Repeat the above two steps, if necessary, to change the parameters in the same group.
6) Scan the “Exit” label to end the group currently selected. The Reader will sound 2 beeps.
7) Repeat the procedure for other groups, if needed, which include the parameters to be changed.

Batch Setup

Having configured a scanner, you may duplicate the settings of the scanner (master) to the others. You can do this by producing a set of custom setup labels derived from the master scanner and scanning these labels by other scanners.

The following label is called “dump settings” label. Scan that label, the settings of a scanner will dump to the screen as one or several ASCII string(s). Printing the string(s) into bar code labels in Code 39, you get the batch setup labels to duplicate other scanner.
