CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

  1. Unplug the iron after every use.
  2. Make sure to allow the iron to cool down before cleaning.
  3. Wipe the sole plate with soft damp clothes. Note:

(1) Do not immerse the iron in water or any other liquids.

(2) To protect the sole plate, always store iron in heel rest position.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:

  11. Do not touch the sole plate when the unit is plugged in or while in use. Accident may occur.

  12. This appliance is not intended for outdoor use.

HOW TO USE:

  1. Plug the iron into the convenience outlet.

  2. The Power Light Indicator will turn on.

  3. Set Variable Temperature Control Knob to desired fabric temperature. (See the Fabric Guide for the appropriate fabric temperature in the unit).

  4. Allow the iron to heat for two minutes on heel rest position before ironing.

  5. The Heat Light Indicator will lights up when the unit is switched ON, the Heat Light Indicator will turn OFF once the temperature required is reached. The Heat Light Indicator will remain OFF as long as the iron keeps the selected temperature, as the temperature decreases, the thermostat will start working; the Heat Light Indicator will turn ON again.

  6. First, iron synthetic fabric at low temperature and then as the temperature rises, iron wool, cotton and linen accordingly. The iron heats more quickly than it cools.

  7. Allow time for iron to heat when changing from a low temperature to high.

  8. Turn OFF and unplug the unit after use.
