Hoe sluit ik de Dual Drive aan op mijn Euro-rack systeem?

Sluit de voedingskabel aan op de voedingsrail van uw Euro-rack. Let op de polariteit: rode streep naar -12V. Gebruik patchkabels voor in- en uitgangen.

Wat is het verschil tussen de twee kanalen?

Beide kanalen zijn identiek en onafhankelijk. U kunt twee verschillende signalen afzonderlijk verwerken.

Kan ik de Dual Drive gebruiken met een synthesizer?

Ja, sluit de audio-uitgang van uw synthesizer aan op de ingang van de Dual Drive voor extra overdrive en verzadiging.

Hoe stel ik de drive in?

Draai aan de 'Drive' knop voor meer of minder vervorming. Begin op een lage stand en verhoog geleidelijk.

Waarom hoor ik geen geluid?

Controleer of de module correct van stroom wordt voorzien en of de patchkabels goed zijn aangesloten. Zet de 'Level' knop omhoog.

Kan ik de Dual Drive gebruiken voor CV-signalen?

Nee, de Dual Drive is ontworpen voor audiosignalen. Gebruik geen CV-signalen, dit kan schade veroorzaken.

Wat is de klank van de Dual Drive?

Het biedt een warme, analoge overdrive met instelbare toon. Geschikt voor subtiele saturatie tot agressieve vervorming.

Hoe reinig ik de module?

Gebruik een droge, zachte doek om stof te verwijderen. Gebruik geen schoonmaakmiddelen of vloeistoffen.

Wat moet ik doen bij een defect?

Neem contact op met uw dealer of de klantenservice van Erica Synths. Probeer niet zelf te repareren.

Kan ik de Dual Drive in een 19-inch rack monteren?

Nee, het is alleen geschikt voor Euro-rack. Gebruik een adapter indien nodig.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Please follow the instructions for use of the Erica Synths module below, cause only this will guarantee proper operation of the module and ensure warranty from Erica Synths.

Water is lethal for most of the electric devices, unless they are made waterproof. This Erica Synths module is NOT intended for use in a humid or wet environment. No liquids or other conducting substances must get into the module. Should this happen, the module should be disconnected from mains power immediately, dried, examined and cleaned by a qualified technician.

Do not expose the module to temperatures above +50^ or below -20^ . If you have transported module in extreme low temperatures, leave it in room temperature for an hour before plugging it in.

Transport the instrument carefully, never let it drop or fall over. Warranty does not apply to modules with visual damages.

The module has to be shipped in the original packaging only. Any module shipped to us for return, exchange and/or warranty repair has to be in its original packaging. All other deliveries will be rejected and returned to you. Make sure you keep the original packaging and technical documentation.

This device complies to the EU guidelines and is manufactured RoHS conforming without use of lead, mercury, cadmium and chrome. Nevertheless, this device is special waste and disposal in household waste is not recommended.

For extreme, distorted drums Dual Drive module is must! It features two identical overdrive sections with adjustable Gain and Drive level, each with three flavours of overdrive. CV control over Gain and Drive adds more expression, while built in limiter prevents output signal to run into undesired clipping. Furthermore, the output of the first section is normalled to the input of the second, so, you automatically get extreme, versatile dual overdrive circuit. The module can be used in the stereo applications, as well, and it's not limited for drums only – it will turn any sound source into roaring monster.
