Die Fernbedienung übermittelt die Steuerbefehle per Infrarotlicht zum TV-Gerät. Deshalb, für den bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch, die Fernbedienung immer zum TV-Gerät richten. Andere infrarotgesteuerte Geräte oder Systeme (z.B. Infrarot-Kopfhörer) können u.U. gestört werden.
Direkte Sonneneinstrahlung auf das TV-Gerät kann u.U. zu Störungen führen, weil das TV-Gerät die Infrarotsignale der Fernbedienung nicht erkennt. Um das TV-Gerät mit der Fernbedienung steuern zu können, darf es nicht mit der Netztaste ausgeschaltet sein.

Achten Sie darauf, daß kein helles Licht oder Sonnenschein direkt auf den Bildschirm fällt. Es können Spiegelungen entstehen, die die Brillanz des Bildes beeinträchtigen. Der günstigste Betrachtungsabstand ist die 5-fache Bildschirmdiagonale, bei Geräten mit 55 cm Bildschirm also ca. 2,75 m.  Fernsehgeräte benötigen eine ausreichende Kühlung. Die Öffnungen in der Rückwand dürfen nicht durch Gardinen, Deckchen, Zeitungen o. ä. verdeckt werden. Die Lüftungsschlitze an der Geräteunterseite müssen frei zugänglich bleiben, denn darüber saugt das Gerät die Kühlluft an. Stellen Sie Ihr Gerät nicht direkt neben einer Heizung auf; die Kühlung könnte beeinträchtigt werden. Ihr Gerät ist für den Betrieb in trockenen Räumen bestimmt. Sollten Sie ausnahmsweise das Gerät im Freien betreiben, so sorgen Sie bitte dafür, daß es vor Feuchtigkeit (Regen, Wasserspritzer, Betauung) geschützt ist. Auf oder über das TV-Gerät gehören keine - brennenden Kerzen - Gefäße mit Flüssigkeit. Heißes Wachs und Flüssigkeiten, die ins Geräteinnere gelangen, zerstören die elektrischen Bauteile Ihres TV-Gerätes. Die elektrische Sicherheit des Gerätes ist in solchen Fällen nicht mehr gewährleistet. Sorgen Sie für einen ausreichenden Kühlluftstrom, wenn Sie Ihr Gerät in einem Einbauschrank stellen.Antennenanschluß
Antennenanschlußkabel und sonstige Bauteile zwischen der fest eingebauten Antennen- / Breitbandsteckdose und dem Rundfunkempfänger (z. B. TV-Gerät, Videorecorder) müssen von der Post zugelassen sein, gemäß Postvorschrift 1 R 8 15. Bei Verwendung nicht zugelassener Kabel und Bauteile erlischt die Betriebserlaubnis des Rundfunkempfängers. Gewitter sind eine Gefahr für elektrische Geräte. Bei einem Blitzschlag in die Netzleitung oder die Antenne kann das Gerät beschädigt werden, auch dann, wenn es ausgeschaltet ist. Ziehen Sie bei Gewitter Netzstecker und Antennenstecker aus der Steckdose bzw. aus dem Fernsehgerät. Bei längeren Benutzungspausen, wie Urlaub, sollten grundsätzlich beide Stecker gezogen sein.Netzanschluß
Verbinden Sie den Netzstecker mit einer Steckdose. Das Gerät ist für 230 V Wechselspannung ausgelegt.Ein- und Ausschalten Sender einstellen
Einschalten
 Ein kaltes Gerät darf in einem warmen Raum erst in Betrieb genommen werden, wenn ein vorhandener Feuchtigkeitsbeschlag auf der Bildschirmfläche verdunstet ist. Drücken Sie die Netztaste am TV-Gerät. Das TV-Gerät schaltet in den Stand-by Zustand und zeigt dies durch eine rote Leuchte an. Einstellige Programmplätze können mit den Zifferntasten ① ② ③ ... oder mit den Tasten P△ oder P▽ der Fernbedienung oder mit den - P + Tasten am TV-Gerät angewählt werden. Zweistellige Programmplätze können im Betriebszustand mit der Vorwahltaste für zweistellige Zifferneingabe -- und den Zifferntasten angewählt werden.Ausschalten
Das TV-Gerät wird mit der AUS-Taste der Fernbedienung in den Stand-by Zustand oder mit der Netztaste am Gerät selbst ausgeschaltet.Sender einstellen
Es gibt drei verschiedene Arten der Sendereinstellung:1. A.P.S.- Funktion
Automatische Programmierung der Sender. Diese Funktion wird das erste Mal nach dem Aufstellen und Einschalten automatisch durchgeführt. 2. Suchlauf. 3. Direkte Kanaleingabe1. A.P.S.- Funktion.
Wenn das TV-Gerät zum ersten Mal eingeschaltet wird, erscheint im terrestrischen Betrieb folgende Meldung auf dem Bildschirm: A.P.S. ANTENNEKABEL ÜBERPRÜFEN AUTO. PROGRAMMIER SYSTEM START TV TV-BETRIEB Mit der Taste TV kann die Funktion abgebrochen werden. Mit der Taste ▷ wird die A.P.S.-Funktion gestartet. Das TV-Gerät beginnt nun mit der Sendersuche über den gesamten terrestrischen Empfangsbereich (wird über die normale Hausantenne oder Kabel empfangen). Wenn die Suche beendet ist, erscheint die Sendertabelle auf dem Bildschirm. Sie kann wie folgt ausgefüllt sein: PROGRAM.| 00 | ---- | 10 | C-16 | 20 | ---- |

2. Suchlauf
Den Suchlauf empfehlen wir zum Auffinden eines einzelnen Senders im terrestrischen Betrieb. \- BLAUE Taste drücken und Menü „INSTALL.“ aufrufen. \- „ABSTIMMUNG“ mit den Tasten P /P anwählen. \- Taste ▷ drücken um Menü „ABSTIMM.“ zu öffnen. \- „SUCHLAUF“ mit der Taste P▽ anwählen. \- Mit den Tasten / den Suchlauf starten. Wenn ein Sender angezeigt wird bleibt der Suchlauf stehen. Der Sender wird auf Kanalmitte abgestimmt. Sollte das Bild dennoch verrauscht sein, so kann bei Bedarf noch eine Feineinstellung vorgenommen werden. \- Mit der Taste P▽ „SPEICHERN“ anwählen und mit der Taste ▷ bestätigen. \- Menü mit der Taste Beenden.Sender einstellen
3. Direkte Kanaleingabe
Bei der direkten Kanaleingabe muß das Band (C=Standardkanal / S=Sonderkanal) und die Kanalnummer bekannt sein. - BLAUE Taste drücken und Menü „INSTALL.“ aufrufen. - „ABSTIMMUNG“ mit den Tasten P /P anwählen. - Taste ▷ drücken um Menü „ABSTIMM.“ zu öffnen. - „BAND“ mit der Taste P▽ anwählen. - Mit den Tasten ◀ / ▷ die Kanalart C oder S auswählen. - Mit der Taste P▽ „KANAL“ anwählen. - Mit den Zifferntasten die Kanalnummer eingeben. Bei zweistelligen Kanalnummern vor der Zifferneingabe die Taste -- drücken. Der gewählte Sender wird angezeigt und auf Kanalmitte abgestimmt. Sollte das Bild dennoch verrauscht sein, so kann bei Bedarf noch eine Feineinstellung vorgenommen werden. - Mit der Taste P▽ „SPEICHERN“ anwählen und mit der Taste ▷ bestätigen. - Menü mit der Taste Töeenden.Feineinstellung
Wird der Sender nicht klar empfangen, können Bild- und Tonqualität durch eine Feinabstimmung verbessert werden. - BLAUE Taste drücken und Menü „INSTALL.“ aufrufen. - „ABSTIMMUNG“ mit den Tasten P /P anwählen. - Taste ▷ drücken um Menü „ABSTIMM.“ zu öffnen. - Mit der Taste P▽ „FEIN“ anwählen und mit den Tasten ◀ / ▷ eine Verstellung vornehmen bis Bild und Ton klar empfangen werden. - Mit der Taste P▽ „SPEICHERN“ anwählen und mit der Taste ▷ bestätigen. - Menü mit der Taste beenden.Sender Logo (Name)
Sender-Logos werden nur bei der A.P.S.-Funktion automatisch in die Sendertabelle eingetragen, wenn der Sender „sauber“ empfangen wird. Wenn kein Sender-Logo erscheint, kann es manuell eingegeben werden, dazu: - BLAUE Taste drücken und Menü „INSTALL.“ aufrufen. - Taste ▷ drücken und Menü „ABSTIMM.“ öffnen. - „NAME“ mit den Tasten P△/P▽ anwählen. - Taste ▷ drücken und erste Stelle anwählen. - Mit den Tasten P / P das Zeichen auswählen. - Taste ▷ drücken, nächste Stelle anwählen und mit den Tasten P△/P▽ ein Zeichen auswählen, usw. - wenn das Logo vollständig ist (max. 4 Stellen) die Taste ▷ drücken und das Logo-Feld verlassen. - „SPEICHERN“ mit den Tasten P▽ anwählen und mit Taste ▷ bestätigen.Toneinstellungen
TON
LAUTSTÄRKE BÄSSE HÖHEN BALANCE EFFEKTE KOPFHÖRER... SPEICHERN Im Menü „TON“ können alle Tonfunktionen eingestellt und gespeichert werden. Diese eingestellten Standardwerte können mit der Taste PP jederzeit wieder aufgerufen werden. - ROTE Taste drücken und Menü „TON“ aufrufen. - Mit den Tasten P / P die gewünschte Funktion auswählen. - Mit den Tasten / den eingestellten Wert verändern. EFFEKTE= Bei Monosendungen wird im „EIN“ Zustand ein stereoähnlicher Effekt erzeugt. Bei Stereosendungen erscheint der Ton voller. - Mit der Taste P▽ „SPEICHERN“ anwählen und mit der Taste ▷ bestätigen. Die veränderten Werte werden gespeichert. - Menü mit der Taste beenden.Kopfhörer-Toneinstellungen
KOPFHÖR.
LAUTSTÄRKE MODUS SPEICHERN Im Menü „KOPFHÖRER“ können alle Kopfhörer-Tonfunktionen eingestellt und gespeichert werden. Diese eingestellten Standardwerte können mit der Taste PP jederzeit wieder aufgerufen werden. - ROTE Taste drücken und Menü „TON“ aufrufen. - Mit den Tasten P /P die Funktion „KOPFHÖRER“ auswählen. - Mit den Tasten ◀ / ▷ das Menü öffnen. - Mit den Tasten P / P die Funktion anwählen, die verändert werden soll. - Mit den Tasten ◀ / ▷ den Wert verändern. - Mit der Taste P▽ „SPEICHERN“ anwählen und mit der Taste ▷ bestätigen. Die veränderten Werte werden gespeichert. - Menü mit der Taste beenden.Bildeinstellungen
BILD
HELLIGKEIT FARBSTÄRKE KONTRAST BILDSCHÄRFE BILD MODUS SPEICHERN Im Menü „BILD“ können alle Bildfunktionen eingestellt und gespeichert werden. Diese eingestellten Standardwerte können mit der Taste PP jederzeit wieder aufgerufen werden. - GRÜNE Taste drücken und Menü „BILD“ aufrufen. - Mit den Tasten P / P die gewünschte Funktion auswählen. - Mit den Tasten ◀ / ▷ den eingestellten Wert verändern. BILD MODUS= Das Bildformat kann eingestellt werden in AUTO - 4:3 - 16:9. Ist hier „AUTO“ (empfehlenswert) eingestellt so wird automatisch auf das vom Sender ausgestrahlte Bildformat umgestellt. Die Formate 4:3 und 16:9 können für alle Sender fest eingestellt werden. - Mit der Taste P▽ „SPEICHERN“ anwählen und mit der Taste ▷ bestätigen. Die veränderten Werte werden gespeichert. - Menü mit der Taste Töeenden.Das Menü FUNKTION
FUNKTION
SLEEP TIMER KINDERSICHER Im Menü „FUNKTION“ kann ein Sleep Timer (Schlaf Zeitfunktion) und eine Kindersicherung eingestellt werden. - GELBE Taste drücken und Menü „FUNKTION“ aufrufen. - Mit den Tasten P / P die gewünschte Funktion auswählen. SLEEP TIMER= einstellbare Zeit in Minuten bis zum Ausschalten des Gerätes. Es können Zeiten von 15 Min. - 120 Min. in 15 Minuten Schritten eingestellt werden. Das TV-Gerät schaltet nach Ablauf der eingegebenen Zeit in den Stand-by Betrieb. KINDERSICHERUNG= Bei eingeschalteter Kindersicherung ist das TV-Gerät nur mit der Fernbedienung einstellbar. Die Tasten am TV-Gerät (außer Netztaste) sind ohne Funktion. \- Mit den Tasten ◀ / ▷ die Einstellung verändern. Die getroffene Einstellung bleibt bis zur nächsten Veränderung automatisch gespeichert. \- Menü mit der Taste Toeenden.Das Menü TV EINST.

SPRACHE LAND KOPIE Im Menü „TV EINST.“ können folgende Einstellungen getroffen werden: SPRACHE= Menüsprache für das gesamte Menü. LAND= Voreinstellung für den automatischen Sendersuchlauf. KOPIE= Auswahl des Signals welches an der AV-2 Buchse ausgegeben wird - BLAUE Taste drücken und Menü „INSTALL.“ aufrufen. - Mit den Tasten P /P die Funktion „TV EINST.“ auswählen. - Taste ▷ drücken um Menü „TV EINST.“ zu öffnen. • Die Zeile „SPRACHE“ ist angewählt. - Mit den Tasten / kann nun eine Landessprache ausgewählt werden. - Im Menüpunkt „LAND“ sollten Sie das Land einstellen in dem Sie wohnen. Entsprechend dem eingestellten Land werden nach dem Automatischen Sendersuchlauf die gefundenen Sender sortiert, sodass z.B. in Deutschland die Reihenfolge ARD, ZDF, BR 3 usw. entsteht. - Im Menüpunkt „KOPIE“ (nur Axon) kann bestimmt werden, was an der AV-2 Buchse mit einem Videorecorder aufgenommen werden soll. Folgende Einstellungen sind möglich: Einstellung der Videorec. kann aufnehmen . . . TV den auf dem Bildschirm sichtbaren terrestrischen Sender AV-1 was über die AV-1 Buchse in das TV-Gerät eingeht AV-3\*\* was über die Cinch-Buchsen an der Frontseite des TV–Gerätes eingeht (nur bei Axon). \*\*nur bei TV-Geräten mit Cinch-Buchsen an der Frontseite Die getroffene Einstellung bleibt bis zur nächsten Veränderung automatisch gespeichert.Videotext
Videotext ist ein Service, der den Empfang von Informationen über ein in der Übersicht (Index) aufgeführtes Thema ermöglicht. Anzeigen am Bildschirm, Veränderungen an Helligkeit, Kontrast und Farbe sind bei Videotext nicht möglich. Lediglich die Lautstärke kann verändert werden.Videotext aufrufen
- Wählen Sie einen Sender, der Videotextinformationen übermittelt. - Videotexttaste drücken. Am Bildschirm erscheint die Seite 100 (Index) oder die zuletzt angesehene Seite vor dem ausschalten.Grundfunktionen des Videotext
- ROTE Taste: Seitenweise rückwärts blättern. - GRÜNE Taste: Seitenweise vorwärts blättern. • GELBE Taste: zum nächste Kapitel. - BLAUE Taste: zum nächsten Thema. - Zifferntasten: Seitennummern numerisch eingeben.Videotextseite gezielt anwählen
Wenn die Videotextseite bekannt ist, kann die Seitenzahl mit den Zifferntasten eingegeben werden. Die gewählte Seitennummer erscheint links oben am Bildschirm. Der Suchvorgang wird gestartet. Ist die betreffende Seite gefunden, wird sie am Bildschirm dargestellt. Wollen Sie während des Suchvorganges das laufende Programm dieses Senders sehen, dann drücken Sie die Taste ☐ Der Videotext wird ausgeblendet aber nicht geschlossen. Am Bildschirm links oben blinkt das Zeichen ☐s Hinweis das der Suchvorgang läuft. Wenn die Seite gefunden ist wird das Zeichen durch die Seitenzahl ersetzt. Bei verschiedenen Videotextseiten gibt es Mehrfachseiten. Diese Mehrfachseitenkennung steht meistens unterhalb der Uhrzeit in Form von z. B. „1/9“. Zum Aufrufen einer Mehrfachseite die Taste Brücken und anschließen die gewünschte Seitezahl vierstellig z.B.,„0004“ eingeben. Wollen Sie während des Suchvorganges das laufende Programm dieses Senders sehen, dann drücken Sie die Taste ☐ Der Videotext wird ausgeblendet aber nicht geschlossen. Am Bildschirm links oben blinkt das Zeichen als Hinweis das der Suchvorgang läuft. Wenn die Seite gefunden ist wird das Zeichen durch die Seitenzahl ersetzt. Mit dem ersten Druck auf die Taste wird der obere Teil der dargestellten Seite in doppelter Schriftgröße angezeigt. Wird im TV-Betrieb die Zeittaste gedrückt, dann wird bei Sende- dern, die Videotext ausstrahlen, rechts oben am Bildschirm die aktuelle Zeit eingeblendet. Bei erneuten Druck auf die Taste wird die Zeit wieder ausgeblendet. Bei Sendern ohne Videotextinformationen, wird anstelle der Zeit eine blaue Box angezeigt. Wenn Sie während der Zeitanzeige ein Menü aufrufen, verschwindet die Zeit; sie erscheint aber wieder, sobald Sie dieses Menü verlassen.Videotext verlassen

Zusatzgeräte anschließen
Zusatz- bzw. AV-Geräte können mit einem Scartkabel an der Scart I oder Scart II Buchse bzw. mit einem Cinch-Kabel an den Cinch-Buchsen (bei Axon an der Vorderseite) angeschlossen werden. Ein Videorecorder kann mit einem Scartkabel oder einem Antennenkabel an das TV-Gerät angeschlossen werden. Wir empfehlen den Anschluß über ein Scartkabel. Diese Verbindung garantiert bestmögliche Bild- und Tonübertragung. Der Videorecorder sollte vorzugsweise an der Scart II Buchse angeschlossen werden. Eine Videokamera oder Digitalkamera kann mit einem Cinch-Kabel oder mit einem Scartkabel angeschlossen werden. Ein Decoder sollte vorzugsweise an der Scart II Buchse (Axon) bzw. Wenn nur Terrestrische- oder Kabelsender empfangen werden: - Videorecorder mit einem Scartkabel an die Scart I Buchse des TV–Gerätes anschließen. - Videorecorder mit einem Antennenkabel an die Hausantenne und an das TV-Gerät anschließen.Videofilm bzw. Aufnahme ansehen:
- Zum Ansehen des Videofilms einen beliebigen Programmplatz wählen. - Wiedergabetaste des Videorecorders drücken. - Wenn der Videorecorder über ein vollbeschaltetes Scart-Kabel an das TV-Gerät angeschlossen ist, wird automatisch auf „AV-1“ geschaltet. Wenn kein vollbeschaltetes Scart-Kabel vorhanden ist, dann, - Taste so oft drücken, bis im Bildschirm AV-1 erscheint.Videokamera anschließen
Eine Videokamera wird in der Regel immer nur kurzzeitig an das TV-Gerät angeschlossen, um z.B. Aufnahmen zu betrachten oder auf einen Videorecorder zu überspielen. Für diesen Zweck besitzt das TV-Gerät an der Frontseite Cinch-Eingangsbuchsen (nur bei Axon). - Videocamera mit einem Cinchkabel an den Frontbuchsen des TV–Gerätes anschließen. - Zum Ansehen der Aufnahme beliebigen Programmplatz wählen und Taste 80 oft drücken, bis im Bildschirm AV-3 erscheint. - Wiedergabetaste der Videokamera drücken.Pay-TV-Decoder (z.B. Mit diesem Zusatzgerät können codiert gesendete Programme entschlüsselt und auf dem Bildschirm sichtbar gemacht werden. - Pay-TV-Decoder mit einem Scartkabel an die Scart II Buchse (Axon) bzw. Reinigung des Gerätes
Vor dem Reinigen ist das Gerät mit dem Netzschalter auszuschalten! Für das Gehäuse verwenden Sie bitte nur ein weiches, trockenes oder ganz leicht angefeuchtetes Tuch. Vermeiden Sie die Anwendung von scharfen Reinigungsmitteln. Diese könnten den Lack und die Bedruckung beschädigen. Schlechte Bildwiedergabe
- Ist der Sender richtig eingestellt? - Befindet sich das TV-Gerät oder Antenne in unmittelbarer Nähe von Lautsprechern, ungeerdeten Audiogeräten oder Neonlichtern? - Berge und hohe Gebäude können Doppel- oder Geisterbilder verursachen. - Überprüfen Sie, ob der korrekte Kanal eingegeben worden ist und stellen Sie ggf. den Kanal mittels Feinabstimmung ein.Kein Bild
- Ist die Antenne korrekt angeschlossen? - Ist das Antennenkabel einwandfrei und mit geeigneten Steckern versehen? - Sind die Stecker ganz in die Antennenbuchse eingeschoben? - Haben Sie die richtige Taste an der Fernbedienung gedrückt? Versuchen Sie es noch einmal.Kein Ton
Sie hören keinen Ton. - Haben Sie eventuell den Ton mit der Tonstopptaste (MUTE) abgeschaltet? - Der Ton ist nur über einen Lautsprecher zu hören. Ist die Balance richtig eingestellt? Vergewissern Sie sich im TON-Menü. Falls Sie keine Lösung finden, schalten Sie Ihr Fernsehgerät für einige Sekunden aus und danach wieder ein. Versuchen Sie nie, selbst Reparaturen vorzunehmen. Il telecomando trasmette i comandi al televisore tramite raggi infrarossi. Perciò, per l'uso designato, dirigete il telecomando sempre verso il televisore. È possibile che altri apparecchi o sistemi comandati a raggi infrarossi possano venir disturbati (p. es. cuffie a raggi infrarossi). Irradiazione diretta della luce del sole sull'apparecchio potrebbe causare event. disturbi, dato che il televisore non riconoscerebbe i segnali infrarossi del telecomando. Osservate nella scelta del luogo d'installazione che una forte luce od i raggi del sole non cadano direttamente sullo schermo. Altrimenti ci saranno dei riflessi e la brillantezza dell'immagine verrà diminuita. La distanza di osservazione migliore è il quintuplo della diagonale dello schermo, quindi per apparecchi con cinescopio di 55 cm questa comporta circa 2,75 m.  I televisori abbisognano di un raffreddamento sufficiente. Le feritoie di aereazione sullo schienale non devono venir coperte da tende, pannolini, giornali, ecc. Anche le aperture di aereazione sul fondo del televisore devono rimanere libere per permettere all'apparecchio di „aspirare“ l'aria fredda. Non sistemate l'apparecchio vicino ad una sorgente di calore; il raffreddamento potrebbe venir ostacolato. Il vostro apparecchio è concepito per l'esercizio in vani secchi. Se eccezionalmente doveste esercitare l'apparecchio all'aperto, provvedete a proteggerlo dall'umidità (pioggia, schizzi d'acqua, rugiada). Non ponete mai sul televisore od al di sopra di questo - candele accese - recipienti con liquido. La cera calda e liquidi che penetrano nell'interno dell'apparecchio, distruggono i componenti elettrici del vostro televisore. In questi casi la sicurezza elettrica del televisore non è più sicura. Provvedete per una corrente d'aria fredda sufficiente se installate il vostro televisore in uno scaffale.Attacco antenna
Il cavo di allacciamento d'antenna ed altri componenti tra la presa d'antenna integrata fissa risp. la presa a larga banda ed il ricevitore radiodiffusione (p. es. televisore, videoregistratore) devono essere autorizzati dal Ministero delle Poste e Telecomunicazioni secondo la norma 1 R 8 15 di questo. Se il cavo ed i componenti usati non sono autorizzati, il permesso d'esercizio del ricevitore radiodiffusione cessa. I temporali rappresentano un pericolo per ogni apparecchio elettrico. Un colpo di fulmine nella rete elettrica o nell'antenna potrebbe danneggiare l'apparecchio, anche se questo fosse spento. Pertanto, con temporali, sfilate la spina di rete dalla presa di rete ed anche la spina d'antenna. Quando l'apparecchio non venisse usato per lungo tempo, dovreste sfilare sempre le due prese. Accensione
 Un apparecchio freddo non può essere acceso in un vano caldo, non prima che fosse evaporizzato dalla superfice dello schermo un eventuale strato d'umidità. Premete l'interruttore di rete sul televisore. Il televisore va sul modo Stand-by ed indica questo con una spia rossa. Scegliete posti programma ad una sola cifra con i tasti cifra ① ② ③ ... oppure con i tasti P△ o P▽ del telecomando oppure con i tasti -P+ sul televisore. Scegliete posti programma a due cifre premendo prima il tasto di preselezione per l'immissione a due cifre -- e poi i tasti cifra.Spegnimento
Spegnete il televisore nel modo Stand-by con il tasto NO sul tele- comando oppure sul televisore stesso con l'interruttore di rete.Regolazione delle stazioni emittenti
Esistono tre modi diversi per la regolazione delle stazioni emittenti: 1. Funzione - A.P.S. APS = Programmazione automatica delle stazioni emittenti. Questa funzione viene eseguita la prima volta automaticamente dopo l'installazione ed accensione. 2. Ricerca automatica 3. Immissione diretta del canale.1. Funzione A.P.S.
Se il televisore viene acceso per la prima volta, nel modo di funzionamento terrestre appare sullo schermo la seguente comunicazione: A.P.S. VOGLIATE CONTR. IL CAVO ANT. PROGRAMMAZIONE AUTOMATICA  INIZIA  ANNULLA Potete interrompere la funzione con il tasto TV. Avviate la funzione A.P.S. con il tasto ▷. Il televisore comincia ora la ricerca delle stazioni emittenti entro l'intero campo di ricezione terrestre (ricezione tramite antenna di casa o via cavo).Regolazione delle stazioni emittenti

2. Ricerca automatica
Cosigliamo la ricerca automatica per trovare una singola emittente nel funzionamento terrestre. - Premete il tasto BLU e richiamate il menù „INSTALL.“ - Scegliete „SINTONIA“ con i tasti P△/P▽. - Premete il tasto ▷ per aprire il menù „SINTONIA“. - Scegliete „RICERCA“ con il tasto P ^▽ - Avviate la ricerca automatica con i tasti ◀ / ▷. Trovata un'emittente questa viene mostrata e la ricerca si arresta. L'emittente viene sintonizzata su centro canale. Nel caso l'immagine avesse fruscio, regolate eventualmente la sintonia fine. - Scegliete „MEMORIZZA“ con il tasto P∇ e confermate con il tasto ▷. - Abbandonate il menù con il tasto TVRegolazione delle stazioni emittenti
3. Immissione diretta del canale con emittenti terrestri
Per l'immissione diretta del canale dovranno esser noti la banda (C=canali standard / S=canali speciali) ed il numero canale. - Premete il tasto BLU e richiamate il menù „INSTALL.“. - Scegliete „SINTONIA“ con i tasti P△/P▽. - Premete il tasto ▷ per aprire il menù „SINTONIA“. - Scegliete „BANDA“ con il tasto P∇. - Scegliete il tipo di canale C od S con i tasti ◀ / ▷. - Scegliete „CANALE“ con il tasto P∇. - Immettete con i tasti cifra il numero di canale. Con numeri di canale a due cifre premete prima il tasto --. L'emittente scelta viene indicata e sintonizzata su centro canale. Nel caso l'immagine avesse fruscio, regolate eventualmente la sintonia fine. - Scegliete „MEMORIZZA“ con il tasto P∇ e confermate con il tasto ▷. - Abbandonate il menù con il tasto TVSintonia fine
Se l'emittente non viene rivevuta chiaramente, allora potreste migliorare le qualità audio ed immagine con la sintonia fine. - Premete il tasto BLU e richiamate il menù „INSTALL.“. - Scegliete „SINTONIA“ con i tasti P /P . - Premete il tasto ▷ per aprire il menù „SINTONIA“. - Scegliete „SINTONIA FINE“ con il tasto P▽ e regolate con i tasti ◀ / ▷ fino a quando l'immagine ed audio vengano ricevuti chiaramente. - Scegliete „MEMORIZZA“ con il tasto P∇ e confermate con il tasto ▷. - Abbandonate il menù con il tasto TVLogo dell'emittente (Nome)
I Logos dell'emittenti vengono inseriti automaticamente nella tabella emittenti soltanto con la funzione A.P.S., nel caso l'emittente venga "ben" ricevuta. Se non appare alcun Logo, allora potete immetterlo manualmente, per far ciò: - Premete il tasto BLU e richiamate il menù „INSTALL.“. - Premete il tasto ▷ per aprire il menù „SINTONIA“. - Scegliete „NOME“ con il tasti P /P . - Premete il tasto ▷ per scegliere la prima posizione. - Premete i tasti P/P per scegliere il carattere. - Premete il tasto ▷ per scegliere la posizione seguente e scegliete con i tasti P△/P▽ un carattere e così via. - Quando il Logo sarà completo (4 caratteri max.), premete il tasto ▷ ed abbandonate il campo Logo. - Scegliete „MEMORIZZA“ con i tasti P∇ e confermate con il tasto ▷.Impostazioni audio
SUONO
VOLUME BASSI ALTI BILANCIAMENTO EFFETTO CUFFIA... MEMORIZZA Nel menù „SUONO“ potete impostare e memorizzare tutte le funzioni audio. Potete richiamare questi valori standard, impostati - ogni tempo - con il tasto PP. - Premete il tasto ROSSO e richiamate il menù „SUONO“. - Scegliete con i tasti P/P la funzione desiderata. - Variate con i tasti ◀ / ▷ il valore impostato. EFFETTO = Con trasmissioni Mono, per impostazione „SI“, viene generato un effetto quasi Stereo. Con trasmissioni Stereo il suono sembra più pieno. - Scegliete „MEMORIZZA“ con il tasto P∇ e confermate con il tasto ▷. I valori variati vengono memorizzati. - Abbandonate il menù con il tasto TVImpostazioni audio della cuffia
CUFFIA.
VOLUME MODO MEMORIZZA Nel menù „CUFFIA“ potete impostare e memorizzare tutte le funzioni audio cuffia. Potete richiamare questi valori standard, impostati - ogni tempo - con il tasto PP. - Premete il tasto ROSSO e richiamate il menù „SUONO“. - Scegliete con i tasti P / P la funzione „CUFFIA“. - Aprite con i tasti ◀ / ▷ il menù. - Scegliete con i tasti P / P la funzione che dovrà esser variata. - Variate il valore con i tasti ◀ / ▷. - Scegliete „MEMORIZZA“ con il tasto P∇ e confermate con il tasto ▷. I valori variati vengono memorizzati. - Abbandonate il menù con il tasto TVImpostazioni immagine
IMMAGINE
LUMINOSITA COLORE CONTRASTO DEFINIZIONE TIPO DI IMMAGINE MEMORIZZA Nel menù „IMMAGINE“ potete impostare e memorizzare tutte le funzioni IMMAGINE. Potete richiamare questi valori standard, impostati - ogni tempo - con il tasto PP. - Premete il tasto VERDE e richiamate il menù „IMMAGINE“. - Scegliete con i tasti P/P la funzione desiderata. - Variate con i tasti ◀ / ▷ il valore impostato. MODO IMMAGINE = Potete impostare il formato immagine in AUTO - 4:3 - 16:9. Qui è impostato „AUTO“ (consigliabile) così viene commutato automaticamente sul formato immagine irradiato dall'emittente. Potete impostare stabilmente i formati 4:3 e 16:9 su tutte l'emittenti. - Scegliete „MEMORIZZA“ con il tasto P∇ e confermate con il tasto ▷. I valori variati vengono memorizzati. - Abbandonate il menù con il tasto TVIl menù CARATTERISTICHE
CARATTER.
SPEGNIM. A TEMPO CHIAVE BAMBINO Nel menù „CARATTER.“ potete impostare uno spegnimento a tempo (per dormire) e una chiave bambino. - Premete il tasto VERDE e richiamate il menù „CARATTER.“ - Scegliete con i tasti P / P la funzione desiderata. LINGUA PAESE USCITA AV-2 Nel menù „CONF. TV“ potete fare le seguenti impostazioni: LINGUA = Lingua menù per l'intero menù. PAESE = Preimpostazione per la ricerca automatica emittenti. USCITA AV-2 = Scelta del segnale che verrà emesso alla presa AV-2. - Premete il tasto BLU e richiamate il menù „INSTALL.“ - Scegliete la funzione „CONF. TV“ con i tasti P /P . - Premete il tasto ▷ per aprire il menù „CONF. TV“. - La riga „LINGUA“ è scelta. - Scegliete con i tasti ◀ / ▷ la lingua desiderata. - Nel menù „PAESE“, voi dovreste scegliere il paese nel quale abitate. Corrispondentemente al paese impostato, dopo la ricerca automatica emittenti, verranno ordinate le emittenti trovate. Se durante l'indicazione dell'ora richiamate un menù, l'ora sparisce; essa riappare però, non appena il menù verrà abbandonato.Abbandono del Televideo

Attacco di apparecchi supplementari
Potete allacciare apparecchi supplementari risp. apparecchi AV con un cavo Scart alle prese Scart I oppure Scart II e con un cavo Cinch alle prese Cinch (soltanto AXON). Potete allacciare al televisore un videoregistratore con un cavo Scart oppure con un cavo antenna. Consigliamo l'allaccio tramite un cavo Scart. Questo collegamento garantisce la migliore trasmissione dell'immagine e suono. Preferibilmente dovreste allacciare il video-registratore alla presa Scart II. Potete allacciare un Camcorder oppure Camcorder digitale con un cavo Cinch oppure cavo Scart. Preferibilmente dovreste allacciare un Decoder alla presa Scart I.Allacciamento di un videoregistratore
Soltanto se vengono ricevute emittenti terrestri oppure via cavo - Allacciate il videoregistratore con un cavo Scart alla presa Scart I del televisore. - Allacciate il videoregistratore con cavi antenna all'antenna di casa e al televisore.Vedere un film video oppure una registrazione
- Per vedere un film video scegliete un posto programma qualsiasi. - Premete il tasto di riproduzione del videoregistratore. - Se il videoregistratore è allacciato al televisore tramite un cavo Scart che abbia collegati tutti i 21 contatti, allora verrà commutato automaticamente su AV-1, se invece il cavo Scart non ha collegati tutti i 21 contatti, allora - premete tante volte il tasto 4mo a quando sullo schermo non comparirà AV-1.Allacciamento di un Camcorder
Generalmente un Camcorder viene allacciato soltanto per breve tempo al televisore, p. es. per osservare una registrazione oppure per copiare su un videoregistratore. Per questo scopo il televisore è dotato sul suo frontale di prese Cinch (soltanto AXON). - Allacciate il videoregistratore con un cavo Cinch alle prese frontali del televisore. - Per vedere una registrazione scegliete un posto programma qualsiasi e premete il tasto ante volte fino a quando sullo schermo non apparià AV-3. - Premete il tasto di riproduzione del videoregistratore.Decoder per Pay-TV (p. es. Premiere)
Con questo apparecchio supplementare possono venir decodificati programmi trasmessi codificati e quindi resi visibili sullo schermo. - Allacciate il Decoder per Pay-TV con un cavo Scart alla presa Scart II (soltano Axon) del televisore. - Per vedere una trasmissione codificata scegliete il posto programma Decoder impostato.Cuffia

Pulizia del televisore
Spegnete il televisore con l'interruttore di rete prima d'iniziare la pulizia! Usate per il mobile uno strofinaccio morbido asciutto o leggermente inumidito. • L'emittente è ben sintonizzata? - Il televisore oppure l'antenna si trovano nelle vicinanze immediate di altoparlanti, di apparecchi audio non messi a massa oppure di lampade neon? - Contorni immagine doppi posson venir causati da montagne ed edifici molto alti. - Controllate se è stato immesso il corretto canale ed impostate eventuelmente il canale con la sintonia fine.Mancanza d'immagine
- È allacciata bene l'antenna ? - È a posto il cavo d'antenna ? Sono montati i dovuti connettori ? - I connettori sono inflati del tutto nelle prese d'antenna? - Avete premuto sul telecomando il tasto giusto? Provate ancora una volta.Mancanza dell'audio
Voi non sentite alcun suono. - Avete disinserito inavvertitamente il suono con il tasto Audio stop (MUTE)? - Il suono si sente soltanto tramite un altoparlante. Il bilanciamento è stato impostato correttamente? Accertatevi nel menù suono. Se non travate nessuna soluzione, spegnete il televisore e riaccendetelo passati alcuni secondi. Interventi impropri possono causare il cessamento dell'autorizzazione di esercizio ed anche l'estinzione del diritto di garanzia. I raggi X prodotti sono schermati sufficientemente (vedete l'avvertenza sullo schienale). Interventi impropri come la variazione della tensione EAT ed anche la sostituzione del cinescopio con un altro tipo di cinescopio potrebbero provocare un'emissione più alta di raggi X. The remote control handset sends its commands to the TV set with the aid of infra-red light. For this reason, it must always be pointed towards the TV set in order to operate correctly. Use of the remote control may possibly interfere with other devices or systems which are controlled by infra-red signals (such as infra-red headphones). The remote control handset may not operate correctly if the TV set is exposed to direct sunlight, because the TV set is not able to detect the infra-red signals. When selecting a suitable place for the TV, be sure that no bright light or sunlight falls on the screen. Light may cause reflections and impair the brilliance of the image. The best viewing distance is five times the picture tube diagonal, e.g. about 2.75 m for TV sets with a 55 cm screen.  TV sets require adequate ventilation. The ventilation slots at the rear of the set should therefore never be covered by curtains, doilies, newspapers or similar objects. Likewise, all slots at the bottom of the set must be freely accessible so that the intake of air is not impaired in any way. Do not set up the TV near a radiator as this would impair adequate cooling. Your TV set is intended for use in dry rooms. If you wish to use it occasionally outdoors, be sure to protect it against any kind of moisture (rain, splashes, dew, etc.).Do not place
- burning candles or - flower vases filled with water on top of the TV set. Hot wax and liquids destroy the electrical components and jeopardize the electrical safety of the set. If you place the set in a wall unit, leave sufficient space on all sides so that the air can circulate freely.Connecting the aerial
Standard SAT and terrestrial station aerial sockets are fitted at the rear of the TV. Thunderstorms represent a danger for all electrical appliances! If lightning strikes the power line or the aerial, the TV may be damaged even if it is switched off. Therefore, always unplug the mains lead and aerial during thunderstorms. If the TV is not going to be used for an extended period of time, for instance when on holiday, then disconnect the set both from the mains and the aerial.Mains voltage

Switching on
 If the TV set is cold and is placed in a warm room, wait for any condensation on the screen to evaporate before switching the set on. Switch the TV set on by pressing the main switch. The TV set is now in standby mode, indicated by a red light. Single-digit programme positions can be selected with the numerical keys ① ② ③ ... or with the keys P△ or P▽ on the remote control or with the - P + keys on the TV set When the TV set is on, two-digit programme positions can be selected by pressing the preselection key for two-digit input, followed by the numerical keys.Switching off
Pressing the OFF key on the remote control switches the TV set to standby mode. Pressing the main switch on the TV set switches the set off completely.Presetting stations
Stations can be preset in three different ways:1. A.P.S. function
Automatic Programme Selection. This function is executed automatically for the first time when the TV set is installed and switched on.2. Station search
3. Direct channel input1. A.P.S. function
When the TV set is switched on for the first time, the following message is displayed on the screen in terrestrial mode: A.P.S. PLEASE, CHECK ANTENNA CABLE AUTO. PROGRAMMING SYSTEM  START  CANCEL This function can be cancelled by pressing the TVkey. The A.P.S. function is started by pressing the ▷ key. The TV set now searches the entire terrestrial reception range (received with an antenna or from cable) for stations. 2. Station search
We recommend using the station search function in order to find a single station in terrestrial or satellite mode. \- Press the BLUE key to select the menu „INSTALL“. \- Select „TUNING“ with the keys P△/P▽. \- Press the key ▷ to open the menu „TUNING“. \- Select „SEARCH“ by pressing the P▽ key. \- Start the search by pressing the ◀/▷ key. When a station is found, the search stops. The TV set is tuned to the centre of the related channel. If the picture is still not clear, you can use the fine tuning function to improve it. \- Select „STORE“ by pressing the P▽ key and confirm the operation by pressing the ▷ key. \- Close the menu by pressing the key.Station search
3. Direct channel input for terrestrial stations
For direct channel input, you must know the band (C = standard channel / S = special channel) and the channel number. - Press the BLUE key to select the menu „INSTALL.“. - Select „TUNING“ with the keys P△/P▽. - Press the key to open the menu „TUNING“. - Select „BAND“ by pressing the P▽ key. - Select the channel type C or S by pressing the ◀ / ▷ keys. - Select „CHANNEL“ by pressing the P▼ key. - Enter the channel number with the numerical keys. For two-digit channel numbers, press the -- key before entering the number. When the station is found, the TV set is tuned to the centre of the related channel. If the picture is still not clear, you can use the fine tuning function to improve it. - Select „STORE“ by pressing the P▽ key and confirm the operation by pressing the ▷ key. - Close the menu by pressing the key.Fine tuning
If the picture of a received station is not very clear, both the picture and sound quality can be improved by fine tuning. - Press the BLUE key to select the menu „INSTALL.“ - Select „TUNING“ with the keys P△/P▽. - Press the key ▷ to open the menu „TUNING“. - Select „FINE TUNING“ by pressing the P▽ key and then adjust the tuning with the ◀ / ▷ keys until the picture is clear and the sound is good. - Select „STORE“ by pressing the P▽ key and confirm the operation by pressing the ▷ key. - Close the menu by pressing the key.Station logo (name)
The A.P.S function displays the station logo in the station table only if the station is received clearly. If no station logo is shown, you can enter it manually as follows: - Press the BLUE key to select the menu „INSTALL.“. - Press the key to open the menu „TUNING“. - Select „NAME“ by pressing the P△/P▽ keys. - Select the first character position by pressing the key. - Select the desired character by pressing the P/P keys. - Select the next character position by pressing the key, select the desired character with the P/P keys, and so on. - After input of the complete logo (maximum length: four characters), press the key to exit from the logo field. - Select „STORE“ by pressing the P▽ keys and confirm the operation by pressing the ▷ key.Sound settings

The stored settings can subsequently been recalled by pressing the PP key. - Press the RED key to open the menu „SOUND“. - Select the desired function by pressing the P/P keys. - Adjust the selected value by pressing the ◀ / ▷ keys. EFFECT = or mono programmes, switching this function „ON“ provides an effect similar to a stereo programme. For stereo programmes, a fuller sound is provided. - Select „STORE“ by pressing the P▽ key and confirm the operation by pressing the ▷ key. - Close the menu by pressing the key.Headphone settings

VOLUME MODE STORE The menu „H.PHONE“ permits you to adjust all headphone sound functions and to store these settings. Subsequently, you can recall these settings by pressing the PP key. - Press the GREEN key to select the menu „PICTURE“. - Select the desired function by pressing the P/P keys. - Adjust the value with the ◀ / ▷ keys. PICTURE MODE = The picture format can be set to AUTO 4:3 16:9. If AUTO is selected (recommended), the TV set switches automatically to the format transmitted by the station. SLEEP TIMER CHILD LOCK In the menu „FEATURE“, you can set the sleep timer and a childlock. - Press the YELLOW key to select the menu „FEATURE“. - Select the desired function by pressing the P/P keys. SLEEP TIMER = you can set the time in minutes before the TV set switches itself off. This kind can be set in the range of 15 - 120 minutes in steps of 15 minutes. After this time has elapsed, the TV set switches back to standby mode. CHILD LOCK = if the child lock is active, the TV set can be controlled only with the remote control. The keys on the TV set (with the exception of the main power key) are disabled. - Change the setting with the ◀ / ▷ keys. The settings are stored automatically and remained stored until you change them again. - Close the menu by pressing the Key.The TV CONF. menu

LANGUAGE COUNTRY AV-2 OUTPUT The following settings can be made in the menu „TV CONF.“: LANGUAGE = the language in which the entire menu is displayed. COUNTRY = the default setting for the automatic station search function. COPY = the signal which is to be output at the AV-2 socket. - Press the BLUE key to select the menu „INSTALL“. - Select the function „TV CONF.“ with the P△/P▽ keys. - Press the ▷ key to open the menu „TV CONF“. - The line „LANGUAGE“ is now selected. - You can now select the desired language by pressing the ◀ / ▷ keys. - In menu item „COUNTRY“, you should select the country in which you live. This information is used for sorting the stations found during automatic station search. In Germany, for example, the stations would be sorted in the sequence ARD, ZDF, BR3, etc. - In menu item „COPY“ (modell Axon only), you can specify what is to be recorded with a video recorder connected to the AV-2 socket. Teletext is a service which permits the reception of information on the subjects shown in the index. It is not possible to change the screen displays and/or the brightness, contrast and colour of the video information.Calling teletext
- Select a station which transmits teletext information. - Press the teletext key ☐Page 100 (index) or the last page viewed before the TV set was switched off is now displayed.Basic teletext functions
- RED key: move one page backwards. - GREEN k: move one page forwards. - YELLOW key: move to the next chapter. - BLUE key: move to the next subject. - Numerical keys: enter the page numbers numerically.Direct page selection
If you know the number of the teletext page you wish to see, you can enter it directly with the numerical keys. The selected page number is displayed at the upper left corner of the screen. The set then starts to search for the page. When the page is found, it is displayed on the screen. Some teletext pages consist of multiple pages. This is normally indicated below the time display in the form of, for example, „1/9“. In order to select a specific multiple page, press the key and then enter the desired page number. Four digits must be entered, for example: „0004“. If you wish to view the current programme while the search is being executed, press the key ☑ The teletext screen is hidden, but is not closed. The symbol ☐ blinks at the upper left corner of the screen to indicate that the search is still running. When the page is found, the symbol disappears and is replaced by the page number. Some teletext pages consist of several sub-pages which are displayed sequentially. Each page is shown for a specific period and is then replaced by the next page. - If you wish to stop automatic paging, press the stop key - To display the next page again, press the stop key once more.Double font size
The first time you press the key 📄 the upper half of the current page is displayed in double font size. Pressing the key 📋 again displays the lower half of the page in double font size. Pressing the key 🕒 a third time returns to display of the full page in normal size.Access to a riddle solutions
The answers to quiz or riddle questions are normally hidden. They can be displayed by pressing the solution key ☐? Pressing this key a second time hides the answers again.Displaying the time in TV mode
If you press the time key in TV mode, the current time is displayed at the top right corner of the screen if you are watching a station that transmits teletext information. Pressing the key again switches off the time display. If the station you are watching does not transmit teletext information, a blue box is displayed instead of the current time. If you open a menu when the time is displayed, the time display disappears. It appears again as soon as you close the menu.Exiting from teletext

Connecting external devices
Audio-video devices and other peripherals can be connected via a Scart cable to the Scart I or Scart II socket or via a phono cable to the front phono sockets (model Axon only). A video recorder can be connected to the TV set with a Scart cable or an antenna cable. We recommend using a Scart cable, since this guarantees the best possible picture and sound quality. If possible, the video recorder should be connected to the Scart II socket. For connection of a video camera or a digital camera to the TV set we recommend the use of a Scart cable or a phono cable. A decoder should, if possible, be connected to the Scart I socket.Connecting a video recorder
If you receive only terrestrial or cable stations: - Connect the video recorder with a Scart cable to the Scart I socket of the TV set. - Connect the video recorder with an antenna cable to the house antenna and to the TV set.Playing back a video film or a recording:
- To play back a video film, you can select any programme position. - Press the playback key of the video recorder. - If the video recorder is connected via a fully-wired Scart cable to the TV set, the TV set switches automatically to „AV-1“. If you are not using a fully-wired Scart cable, then: - Press the Key a number of times until AV-1 is displayed on the screen.Connecting a video camera
Normally, a video camera is connected to the TV set only temporarily in order to play back a recording or to copy it to a video recorder. For this purpose, the model is equipped with phono sockets on the front (model Axon only). - Connect the video camera with a phono cable to the sockets on the front of the TV set. - To view the recording, select any programme position and press the key until AV-3 is displayed on the screen. - Press the playback key on the video camera.Pay-TV decoder (e.g. Premiere)
A decoder is used to decode programmes that are encoded before transmission so that they can be viewed on the TV screen. - Connect the decoder with a Scart cable to the Scart II (modell Axon only) socket of the TV set. - You must select the preset decoder programme position for viewing a decoded programme.Headphones
Headphones can be connected to the headphone socket on the front of the TV set (Axon) or on the right-hand side of the TV set (Borneo).Cleaning
Cleaning the TV set
Always switch off the TV with the main power switch before you clean it! Use a soft, dry or slightly moist cloth to clean the cabinet. Do not use any strong detergents as they may damage the finish and labels. Use a damp chamois leather to clean the screen.Fault-finding
Poor picture quality
- Is the TV set correctly tuned to the station? - Is the TV set or its antenna located close to loudspeakers, ungrounded audio devices or fluorescent lamps? - Hills and high buildings can result in double pictures or „ghost" images. - Check that you have entered the correct channel and, if necessary, adjust the fine tuning.No picture
• Is the antenna connected correctly? - Is the antenna cable in good condition and equipped with the correct plugs? - Are the plugs fully inserted in the antenna socket? - Have you pressed the correct key on the remote control? Try pressing the key again.No sound
- Have you switched off the sound by pressing the mute key? - If you hear the sound from only one speaker, check in the SOUND menu that the balance is set correctly. If you cannot find the reason for the fault, switch the TV set off for a few seconds and switch it back on again. Never attempt to repair the TV set yourself. Any unauthorized attempts to open or repair the TV may result in the guarantee becoming null and void. Adequate shielding is provided against X-ray radiation (see approval certificate on the rear panel of the TV). Changing the high voltage or fitting a different type of picture tube may cause an increased amount of X-ray radiation. El mando a distancia transmite al televisor las órdenes de mando por rayos infrarrojos. Por esto, para un uso adecuado, el mando a distancia deberá estar siempre dirigido al televisor. Otros aparatos o sistemas controlados por infrarrojos (como por ej. auriculares infrarrojos), pueden verse afectados en ciertos casos. En determinadas circunstancias, la radiación directa del sol sobre el televisor puede ocasionar perturbaciones, puesto que el aparato no reconocería las órdenes por infrarrojos del mando a distancia. Para poder accionar el televisor mediante el mando a distancia, no deberá estar desconectado con el interruptor principal.  flowchart

Tenga Vd. cuidado de que no incidan directamente sobre la pantalla del televisor los rayos del sol, ni la luz muy clara, dado que se podrían producir reflejos que redujeran el brillo de la imagen. La distancia más favorable equivale a 5 veces la diagonal de la pantalla, es decir, en televisores con pantalla de 55 cm, unos 2,75 metros.  Los aparatos de televisión necesitan una buena ventilación. Las rendijas, al dorso del aparato, no deberán estar jamás tapadas por cortinas, tapetes, periódicos, etc. Las rendijas de la parte inferior del aparato deben permanecer libremente accesibles, pues a través de ellas el televisor aspira el aire de ventilación. No coloque tampoco su televisor directamente al lado de la calefacción, pues ello perjudicaría, asimismo, el efecto de ventilación. Su aparato está previsto solamente para su uso en lugares totalmente secos. Si, en casos excepcionales, tiene Vd. que usar el aparato en el exterior, procure protegerlo contra la humedad (lluvia, salpicaduras de agua, rocío, etc.). Sobre el televisor o directamente encima no debe colocar nunca: - velas encendidas, - recipientes con líquidos. La cera caliente y los líquidos que caigan en el interior del aparato pueden dañar los componentes eléctricos de su televisor, por lo que en tales casos no se garantiza la seguridad eléctrica del mismo. Procure que haya suficiente ventilación de aire cuando coloque el televisor dentro de un armario.Conexión de la antena
El cable de conexión para la antena y los restantes elementos entre la base de enchufe de banda ancha para antenas, fijamente instalada en la pared, y el aparato receptor (por ej. televisor, vídeo), deben estar homologados por el organismo oficial correspondiente. Cuando se utilizan cables o componentes no homologados, prescribe la autorización para la utilización del aparato receptor. Las tormentas representan un peligro para los aparatos eléctricos. Si cae un rayo en la línea eléctrica o en la antena, puede quedar dañado el aparato, incluso aunque esté apagado. En caso de tormentas, la clavija de red y la clavija de antena se han de desconectar de la base de enchufe y del televisor. Cuando no se use el televisor durante largo tiempo, como por ej. durante las vacaciones, se deberían desenchufar ambas clavijas.Conexión a la red

 Un aparato frío solamente puede ponerse en funcionamiento en un recinto caliente, una vez que se haya evaporado la capa de humedad que se hubiera formado sobre le pantalla. Pulse Vd. el interruptor principal de la red en el televisor. El televisor conmuta a modo stand-by, indicándolo mediante una luz roja. Las memorias de programa con un dígito se pueden seleccionar con las teclas de cifras ① ② ③ ... o con las teclas P△ o P▽ del mando a distancia, o con las teclas - P + en el propio televisor. Estando funcionando, las memorias de programa con dos dígitos se pueden seleccionar mediante la tecla de preselección para introducir cifras de dos dígitos -- y las teclas de cifras.Apagado
El televisor se apaga con la tecla OFF (DES) del mando a distancia, estando en posición stand-by, o con el interruptor principal del propio aparato.Sintonización de emisoras
Existen tres formas distintas de sintonizar las emisoras: 1. A.P.S.- Función no operativa con SAT Auto Programm System Esta función se lleva a cabo automáticamente la primera vez, tras la colocación y encendido del televisor. 2. Localización automática. 3. Introducción directa del canal. Introducción directa de la frecuencia en funcionamiento SAT.1. Función A.P.S.
Cuando se enciende el televisor por primera vez, en funcionamiento terrestre, aparece el siguiente mensaje sobre la pantalla: A.P.S. PLEASE, CHECK ANTENNA CABLE AUTO. PROGRAMMING SYSTEM  START  CANCEL Mediante la tecla TVse puede interrumpir esta función. Con la tecla ▷ se pone en marcha la función A.P.S. El televisor comienza ahora con la búsqueda a través de todo el campo de recepción terrestre, (se recibe por medio de la antena normal o a través del cable). 2. Localización automática
Recomendamos la localización para buscar una emisora en funcionamiento terrestre o SAT. - Pulsar la tecla AZUL y llamar al menú „INSTALL.“ [Instalar]. - Mediante las teclas P /P seleccionar „TUNING“ [Sintonizar]. - Pulsar la tecla ▷ para abrir el menú „TUNING“ [Sintonizar]. - Seleccionar „SEARCH“ [Localizar] con la tecla P∇. - Comenzar la localización con las teclas ◀ / ▷. Una vez que quede indicada una emisora, se detiene la búsqueda. La emisora se sintoniza en el centro del canal. Sin embargo, en el caso de que la imagen aparezca desvanecida, si fuera necesario, se puede llevar a cabo todavía una sintonización fina. - Mediante la tecla P▼ seleccionar „STORE“ [Memorizar] y confirmar con la tecla ▷. - Finalizar el menú con la tecla TV.2. 3. Introducción directa del canal en emisoras terrestres
Cuando se introduzca directamente el canal, se ha de conocer la banda de frecuencias (C= canal estándar/S= canal especial), así como el número del canal. - Pulsar la tecla AZUL y llamar al menú „INSTALL.“ [Instalar]. - Mediante las teclas P /P seleccionar „TUNING“ [Sintonizar]. - Pulsar la tecla ▷ para abrir el menú „TUNING“ [Sintonizar]. - Seleccionar „BAND“ [Banda] con la tecla P∇. - Con las teclas ◀ / ▷ seleccionar el tipo de canal C o S. - Seleccionar „CHANNEL“ [Canal] con la tecla P▽. - Introducir el número del canal mediante las teclas de cifras. Cuando el número del canal tenga dos dígitos, antes de introducirlos, pulsar la tecla - - . La emisora seleccionada queda indicada y se sintoniza en el centro del canal. Sin embargo, en el caso de que la imagen aparezca desvanecida, si fuera necesario, se puede llevar a cabo todavía una sintonización fina. - Mediante la tecla P▽ seleccionar „STORE“ [Memorizar] y confirmar con la tecla ▷. - Finalizar el menú con la tecla TVSintonización fina
Cuando la emisora no se reciba con claridad, se puede mejorar la calidad de la imagen y del sonido, por medio de una sintonización fina. - Pulsar la tecla AZUL y llamar al menú „INSTALL.“ [Instalar]. - Mediante las teclas P /P seleccionar „TUNING“ [Sintonizar]. - Pulsar la tecla ▷ para abrir el menú „TUNING“ [Sintonizar]. - Mediante la tecla P▼ seleccionar „FINE TUNING“ [Sintonización fina] y con las teclas ◀ / ▷ llevar a cabo un reajuste, hasta que se reciban con claridad la imagen y el sonido. - Mediante la tecla P▽ seleccionar „STORE“ [Memorizar] y confirmar con la tecla ▷. - Finalizar el menú con la tecla TVLogotipo de la emisora (nombre)
Los logotipos de las emisoras se registran automáticamente en la tabla de emisoras, solamente cuando la recepción es totalmente „limpia“. Si no aparece ningún logotipo de emisora se puede introducir manualmente, para lo cual: - Pulsar la tecla AZUL y llamar al menú „INSTALL.“ [Instalar]. - Pulsar la tecla ▷ para abrir el menú „TUNING“ [Sintonizar] - Mediante las teclas P△/P▽ seleccionar „NAME“ [Nombre]. - Pulsar la tecla ▷ y seleccionar la primera posición. - Mediante las teclas P/P seleccionar el carácter. - Pulsar la tecla ▷, seleccionar la siguiente posición y con las teclas P / P seleccionar un carácter, etc. - Una vez que se haya completado totalmente el logotipo (máx. 4 posiciones), pulsar la tecla ▷ y abandonar el campo de logotipos. - Seleccionar „STORE“ [Memorizar] mediante la tecla P▽ y confirmar con la tecla ▷.Ajustes del sonido

VOLUME BASS TREBLE BALANCE EFFECT HEADPHONE STORE En el menú „SOUND“ [Sonido] se pueden ajustar y memorizar todas las funciones del sonido. Estos valores estándar ajustados se pueden llamar en cualquier momento con la tecla PP. - Pulsar la tecla ROJA y llamar al menú „SOUND“ [Sonido]. - Mediante las teclas P/P seleccionar la función deseada. - Mediante las teclas ◀ / ▷ modificar el valor ajustado EFFECT = [Efectos], con emisiones mono, en estado „ON“ [CONectado], se genera un efecto pseudoestereofónico. Con emisiones estéreo se emite el sonido en su plenitud. - Mediante la tecla P▼ seleccionar „STORE“ [Memorizar] y confirmar con la tecla ▷. Los valores modificados quedan memorizados. - Finalizar el menú con la tecla TVAjustes del sonido en auriculares

SLEEP TIMER CHILD LOCK En el menú „FEATURE“ [Función] se puede ajustar un Sleep timer [Temporizador de autoapagado], así como un bloqueo infantil. - Pulsar la tecla AMARILLA y llamar al menú „FEATURE“ [Función]. - Mediante las teclas P△/P▽ seleccionar la función deseada. SLEEP TIMER = [Temporizador de autoapagado], tiempo ajusta- ble en minutos, hasta la desconexión del aparato. Se puede regular el tiempo entre 15 min. y 120 min., en escalones de 15 min. El aparato, al haber transcurrido el tiempo programado, conmuta a la función de stand-by. CHILD LOCK = [Bloqueo infantil], cuando está conectado el cierre de protección para niños, el televisor solo se puede manejar por medio del mando a distancia. Las teclas en el televisor (con la excepción del interruptor principal), quedan sin función. - Mediante las teclas ◀ / ▷ modificar el valor ajustado. El ajuste llevado a cabo permanece automáticamente memorizado, hasta la siguiente modificación. - Finalizar el menú con la tecla TVMenú „TV CONFIGURATION“ [Ajustes TV]

LANGUAGE COUNTRY AV-2 OUTPUT En el menú „TV CONFIG.“ [Ajustes TV] se pueden llevar a cabo los siguientes ajustes: „LANGUAGE“ = [Idioma] para todo el menú. „COUNTRY“ = [País] preajuste para la localización automática de emisora. „AV-2 OUTPUT“ = [Copia] selección de la señal que debe salir por la toma AV-2. - Pulsar la tecla AZUL y llamar al menú „INSTALL.“ [Instalar]. - Mediante las teclas P△/P▽ seleccionar la función „TV CONFIG.“ [Ajustes TV]. - Pulsar la tecla ▷ para abrir el menú „TV CONFIG.“ [Ajustes TV]. - La línea „LANGUAGE“ [Idioma] queda seleccionada - Mediante las teclas ◀ / ▷ se puede ahora seleccionar un idioma nacional. - En el punto del menú „COUNTRY“ [País] se ha de ajustar el país en el que Vd. viva. Según sea el país seleccionado, la localización automática clasifica las emisoras encontradas; así, por ej. en Alemania sería la sucesión: ARD, ZDF, BR3, etc. - En el punto del menú „AV-2 OUTPUT“ [Copia] (sólo Axon) se puede determinar lo que se puede grabar con una videograbadora en la toma AV-2. El Teletexto es un servicio que permite la recepción de informaciones acerca de los temas relacionados en una tabla (índice). En el Teletexto no son posibles las indicaciones en pantalla, las variaciones de la luminosidad, el contraste o el color. Solamente se puede modificar el volumen de sonido.Llamada al Teletexto
- Seleccione Vd. una emisora que transmita informaciones de Teletexto. - Pulse la tecla de Teletexto en la pantalla aparece la página 100 (índice), o la última página visionada, antes de la desconexión.Funciones básicas del Teletexto

Cuando es conocida una página del Teletexto, se puede introducir directamente el número de la página, mediante las teclas de cifras. El número de página seleccionado aparece a la izquierda, en la parte superior de la pantalla y comienza el proceso de selección. Una vez que se haya encontrado la página de que se trata, se representa en la pantalla. Si, durante el proceso de localización, se desea ver el programa en curso de esa emisora, pulsar entonces la tecla. El Teletexto desaparece, pero no se cierra. En la pantalla, arriba a la izquierda, parpadea el símbolo como constatación de que está en marcha el proceso de búsqueda. Existen diversas páginas de Teletexto que constan de varias subpáginas. El número de dichas páginas múltiples figura generalmente por debajo de la hora, en la forma de, por ej. „1/9“. Para llamar a una página múltiple, pulsar la tecla a continuación el número de la página que se desee, con cuatro cifras, por ej. „0004“. Si, durante el proceso de localización se desea ver el programa en curso de esa emisora, pulsar entonces la tecla. El Teletexto desaparece, pero no se cierra. En la pantalla, arriba a la izquierda, parpadea el símbolo. como constatación de que está en marcha el proceso de búsqueda. Existen páginas de Teletexto con varias subpáginas que se visualizan secuencialmente, en breves intervalos de tiempo. - Cuando se desee detener este cambio automático de página, hay que pulsar la tecla de parada 📄. - Si se quiere visualizar la página siguiente, pulsar de nuevo la tecla de parada 📄.Doble tamaño de escritura
Al pulsar por primera vez la tecla, la parte superior de la página visualizada se representa en tamaño doble de escritura. Al pulsar por segunda vez esta tecla, aparece la mitad inferior de la página. A la tercera pulsación sobre dicha tecla, se retorna al tamaño normal de letra de toda la página.Solución a preguntas o respuestas de concursos
Las respuestas ocultas a las preguntas de concursos o adivinanzas se liberan al pulsar la tecla de solución a preguntas ☐? . Al pulsar de nuevo esta tecla se ocultan otra vez las soluciones.Indicación de la hora en funcionamiento TV
Cuando, en funcionamiento de televisión, se pulsa una vez la tecla de la hora en emisoras que emiten Teletexto, aparece en la parte superior derecha de la pantalla la hora en curso. Al pulsar de nuevo la tecla, desaparece otra vez la hora. En emisoras sin informaciones de Teletexto, en lugar de la hora se visualiza un campo en azul. Cuando, durante la indicación de la hora, se llama a un menú, desaparece la hora, aunque se activa de nuevo tan pronto se abandona este menú:Salida del Teletexto

Conexión de equipos adicionales
Los aparatos adicionales o audiovisuales se pueden conectar por medio de un cable Scart (EURO) a las tomas Scart I o Scart II, o bien con un cable Cinch a las tomas Cinch (sólo Axon). Una videograbadora se puede conectar al televisor mediante un cable Scart o un cable de antena. Nosotros recomendamos la conexión a través de un cable Scart. Esta conexión garantiza la mejor transmisión posible de la imagen y el sonido. La videograbadora debería conectarse preferentemente a la toma Scart II. Una cámara de vídeo o una digital se pueden conectar mediante un cable Cinch o con un cable Scart (EURO). Un decodificador se debe conectar preferentemente a la toma Scart I.Conexión de videograbadoras
Cuando se reciben solamente emisoras terrestres o por cable: - Conectar la videograbadora por medio de un cable Scart a la toma Scart I del televisor - Conectar la videograbadora por medio de un cable de antena a la antena normal doméstica y al televisor.Visionado de películas vídeo o grabadas:
- Para ver la película del vídeo, seleccionar la memoria de programa que se desee. - Pulsar la tecla reproducción de la videograbadora. - Cuando la videograbadora está conectada al televisor a través de un cable Scart (EURO) con total ocupación de sus polos, se conmuta automáticamente a „AV-1“. Cuando no se dispone de ningún cable Scart con total ocupación, entonces - pulsar repetidamente la tecla Av hasta que en la pantalla aparezca AV-1.Conexión de una videocámara
Por regla general, una videocámara se conecta siempre durante breve tiempo al televisor, para por ej. visionar grabaciones o copiar a una videograbadora. A tal efecto, el televisor dispone de tomas de entrada Cinch en la cara frontal (sólo Axon). - Conectar la videograbadora, por medio de un cable Cinch, a las tomas frontales del televisor. - Para visionar la grabación, seleccionar la memoria de programa que se desee y pulsar repetidamente la tecla hasta que en la pantalla aparezca AV-3. - Pulsar la tecla de reproducción de la videocámara.Decodificador TV por pago (por ej. el canal Premiere)
Mediante este equipo adicional se pueden descifrar programas que se emiten codificados y hacerlos visibles en la pantalla. - Conectar le decodificador TV de pago, mediante un cable Scart (EURO), a la toma Scart II (sólo Axon) del televisor. - Para ver una emisión codificada, seleccionar la memoria de programa ajustada del decodificador.Auriculares

Limpieza del aparato
¡Antes de limpiar el aparato, desconectarlo con el interruptor de la red! Para la caja, utilice Vd. solamente un paño suave, seco, o ligeramente humedecido. Mala reproducción de la imagen
- ¿Está correctamente sintonizada la emisora? - ¿Se encuentra el televisor o la antena en la cercanía inmediata de altavoces, equipos audio sin conexión de tierra o de lámparas de neón? - Las montañas o los edificios altos pueden originar imágenes dobles o eco. - Compruebe Vd. si está sintonizado el canal correcto y, en caso dado, ajústelo mediante la sintonización fina.No hay imagen
- ¿Está correctamente conectada la antena? - ¿Está en perfecto estado el cable de antena y equipado con los conectores adecuados? - ¿Están los conectores totalmente introducidos en las tomas de antena? - ¿Ha pulsado Vd. la tecla correcta en el mando a distancia? Inténtelo otra vez.No hay sonido
No se oye el sonido - ¿Ha desconectado Vd. eventualmente el sonido con la tecla de supresión (MUTE)? - El sonido sólo se puede oír a través de un altavoz. ¿Está correctamente ajustado el balance? Compruébelo en el menú de SONIDO „SOUND“. En el caso de que no encuentre Vd. ninguna solución, desconecte el televisor por algunos segundos y conéctelo de nuevo. De afstandsbediening brengt de besturingscommando's per infraroodlicht over naar het TV-toestel. Richt, volgens de voorschriften, de afstandsbediening altijd op het TV-toestel. Andere infraroodbestuurde apparatuur of systemen (bijv. infraroodhoofdtelefoon) kunnen in bepaalde omstandigheden worden gestoord. Directe zonnebestraling op het TV-toestel kan in bepaalde omstandigheden tot storingen leiden omdat het TV-toestel de infraroodsignalen van de afstandsbediening niet herkent. Om het TV-toestel met de afstandsbediening te kunnen bedienen, mag het niet met de nettoets zijn uitgeschakeld.  flowchart

Bij het plaatsen van het toestel dient u erop te letten dat er geen fel kunst- of zonlicht op het beeldscherm valt. Anders ontstaan er namelijk reflecties, die de beeldkwaliteit nadelig beïnvloeden. De gunstigste kijkafstand bedraagt ongeveer vijf maal de diagonaal van het beeldscherm; bij een 55-cm beeldscherm is deze dus 2,5 meter.  TV-toestellen dienen afdoende te worden gekoeld. De openingen aan de achterkant mogen daarom niet door gordijnen e.d. worden bedekt. Ook de ventilatiesleuven aan de onderkant van het toestel dienen altijd vrij te blijven omdat er via deze sleuven lucht wordt aangezogen. Plaats het toestel niet direct naast de verwarming omdat dit de koeling eveneens nadelig zou kunnen beïnvloeden. Het toestel is bestemd voor gebruik in droge vertrekken. Mocht u het - bij wijze van uitzondering - in de open lucht willen gebruiken, zorg er dan voor dat het afdoende tegen vocht (regen, tuinslang, dauw) is beschermd. Wordt het toestel in een wandmeubel geplaatst, zorg er dan voor dat de lucht ongehinderd kan circuleren. - Brandende kaarsen en vloeistoffen - bloemenvaas - kopje koffie horen niet op het toestel! Hete, vloeibare was en andere vloeistoffen zijn funest voor de elektrische onderdelen en brengen de veiligheid van het toestel in gevaar.Aansluiten van de antenne
De aansluitkabel voor de antenne en overige bouwelementen tussen het ingebouwde antenne-/breedbandstopcontact en de radio-ontvanger (bijv. TV-toestel, videorecorder) moeten goedgekeurd zijn door de post volgens postvoorschrift 1 R 8 15. Onweer kan voor elk elektrisch apparaat een gevaar betekenen. Wanneer de bliksem in het lichtnet of de antenne inslaat, kan het toestel daarbij worden beschadigd, ook als het niet is ingeschakeld. Trek daarom bij onweer altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact en de antenne uit de aansluiting aan de achterkant van het toestel. Bij langere afwezigheid (bijvoorbeeld vakantie) dient u dit ook te doen.Aansluiten op het lichtnet

Inschakelen
 Wanneer een koud toestel in een warm vertrek wordt geplaatst, mag het niet eerder worden ingeschakeld dan nadat de eventuele vochtaanslag op het beeldscherm is verdampt. Druk de netschakelaar van het TV-toestel in. Het TV-toestel schakelt op stand-by. Dit wordt weergegeven door een rood lampje. Programmanummers die uit één cijfer bestaan, kunnen met de cijfertoetsen ① ② ③ ... of met de toetsen P△ of P▽ van de afstandsbediening of met de - P + toetsen van het TV-toestel worden opgeroepen. Programmanummers die uit twee cijfers bestaan, kunnen in de bedrijfsmodus met de voorkeuzetoets voor dubbele cijferinvoer -- en de cijfertoetsen worden opgeroepen.Uitschakelen
Het TV-toestel wordt met de UIT-toets van de afstandsbediening op stand-by of met de nettoets van het TV-toestel uitgeschakeld.Zenders instellen
Er zijn drie verschillende manieren om de zenders in te stellen:1. A.P.S.-functie
Automatische Programmering van de Zender. Deze functie wordt de eerste keer na het plaatsen en inschakelen automatisch doorgevoerd. 2. Zenderkeuze. 3. Directe kanaalkeuze.1. A.P.S.-functie
Wanneer het TV-toestel voor de eerste keer wordt ingeschakeld, verschijnt er in de terrestrische modus de volgende mededeling op het beeldscherm: A.P.S. PLEASE, CHECK ANTENNA CABLE AUTO. PROGRAMMING SYSTEM START TV CANCEL Met de toets TV kan de functie worden afgebroken. Met de toets ▷ wordt de A.P.S.-functie gestart. Het TV-toestel begint nu met het zoeken van de zenders in het gehele terrestrische ontvangstbereik (wordt via de normale huisantenne of kabel ontvangen). 2. Zenderkeuze
De zenderkeuze bevelen wij aan voor het vinden van een afzonderlijke zender in de terrestrische modus. - Op de BLAUWE toets drukken en het menu „INSTALL“[Installe-ren] oproepen. - Met de toetsen P /P . „TUNING“[Afstemmen] oproepen. - Toets ▷ indrukken om het menu „TUNING“[Afstemmen] te openen. - Met de toets P▽„SEARCH“[Zenderkeuze] oproepen. - Met de toetsen ◀ / ▷ de zenderkeuze starten. Wanneer er een zender wordt weergegeven, blijft de zenderkeuze staan. De zender wordt op kanaalmidden afgestemd. Wanneer het beeld toch ruist kan dit, indien nodig, door een fijnafstemming worden bijgesteld. - Met de toets P▽ „STORE“[Opslaan] kiezen en met de toets ▷ bevestigen. - Het menu met de toets beëindigen.Zenderkeuze
3. Directe kanaalkeuze van terrestrische zenders
Bij directe kanaalkeuze moet de band (C = standaardkanaal / S = speciaal kanaal) en het kanaalnummer bekend zijn. - Op de BLAUWE toets drukken en het menu „INSTALL“[Installeren] oproepen. - Met de toetsen P /P „TUNING“[Afstemmen] oproepen. - Toets ▷ indrukken om het menu „TUNING“[afstemmen] te openen. - Met de toets P▽ „BAND“ oproepen. - Met de toetsen ◀ / ▷ het kanaal C of S kiezen. - Met de toets P▽ „CHANNEL“[Kanaal] oproepen. - Met de cijfertoetsen het kanaalnummer ingeven. Bij kanaalnummers die uit twee cijfers bestaan, moet u voor het ingeven van de cijfers de toets - - indrukken. De gekozen zender wordt weergegeven en op kanaalmidden afgestemd. Wanneer het beeld toch ruist kan dit, indien nodig, door een fijnafstemming worden bijgesteld. - Met de toets P▽ „STORE“[Opslaan] oproepen en met de toets ▷ bevestigen. - Het menu met de toets beeindigen.Fijnafstemming

VOLUME BASS TREBLE BALANCE EFFECT HEADPHONE STORE In het menu „SOUND“[Geluid] kunnen alle geluidsfuncties worden ingesteld en opgeslagen. Deze ingestelde standaardwaarden kunnen met de toets PP steeds weer worden opgeroepen. - Op de RODE toets drukken en het menu „SOUND“[Geluid] oproepen. - Met de toetsen P / P de gewenste functie kiezen. - Met de toetsen ◀ / ▷ de ingestelde waarde wijzigen. PICTURE
BRIGHTNESS COLOUR CONTRAST SHARPNESS PICTURE MODE STORE In het menu „PICTURE“[Beeld] kunnen alle beeldfuncties worden ingesteld en opgeslagen. Deze ingestelde standaardwaarden kunnen met de toets PP steeds weer worden opgeroepen. - Op de GROENE toets drukken en het menu „PICTURE“[Beeld] oproepen. - Met de toetsen P/P de gewenste functie kiezen. - Met de toetsen ◀ / ▷ de ingestelde waarde wijzigen. BEELD MODUS = Het beeldformaat kan worden ingesteld in AUTO - 4:3 - 16:9. Is hier „AUTO“ (wordt aanbevolen) ingesteld, dan wordt automatisch op het door de zender uitgestraalde beeldformaat overgeschakeld. De formaten 4:3 en 16:9 kunnen voor alle zenders vast worden ingesteld. \- Met de toets P▽ „STORE“[Opslaan] oproepen en met de toets ▷ bevestigen. FEATURE
SLEEP TIMER CHILD LOCK In het menu „FEATURE“[Functies] kan een sleep timer (slap-tijd-functie) en een kinderslot worden ingesteld. - Op de GELE toets drukken en het menu „FEATURE“[Functie] oproepen. - Met de toetsen P / P de gewenste functie kiezen. SLEEP TIMER = Instelbare tijd in minuten tot het uitschakelen van het toestel. Er kunnen tijden van 15 min. - 120 min. in 15 minuten stappen worden ingesteld. Het TV-toestel schakelt na afloop van de ingegeven tijd over op stand-by CHILD LOCK = Wanneer het kinderslot is ingeschakeld, kan het TV-toestel alleen met de afstandsbediening worden ingesteld. De knoppen van het TV-toestel (behalve de nettoets) functioneren niet. - Met de toetsen ◀ / ▷ de instelling wijzigen. De getroffen wijziging blijft automatisch opgeslagen tot de volgende wijziging. - Het menu met de toets beëindigen.Het menu TV-INSTEL.
TV CONF.
LANGUAGE COUNTRY AV-2 OUTPUT In het menu „TV-CONF.“[TV-instellingen] kunnen de volgende instellingen worden getroffen: TAAL = Menutaal voor het gehele menu. LAND = Voorinstelling voor de automatische zenderkeuze. KOPIËREN = Keuze van het signaal dat bij de AV-2-bus wordt gegeven. - Op de BLAUWE toets drukken en het menu „INSTALL“[Installeren] oproepen. - Met de toetsen P /P de functie „TV CONF.“[TV-instellingen] kiezen. - Op de toets ▷ drukken om het menu „TV CONF“[TV-instellingen] te openen. - De regel „LANGUAGE“[Taal] is opgeroepen. - Met de toetsen ◀ / ▷ kan nu een landstaal worden gekozen. - In het menupunt „COUNTRY“[Land] stelt u nu het land waar u woont in. Overeenkomstig het ingestelde land worden na de automatische zenderkeuze de gevonden zenders gesorteerd, zodat bijv. in Duitsland de volgorde ARD, ZDF, BR 3 etc. ontstaat. - In het menupunt „AV-2 OUTPUT“[Kopiëren] (alleen bij Axon) kan worden bepaald wat er aan de AV-2-bus met een videorecorder moet worden opgenomen. De volgende instellingen zijn mogelijk: Instelling de videorecorder kan opnemen ... TV de op het beeldscherm zichtbare terrestrische zender AV-1 wat via de AV-1-bus in het TV-toestel ingaat AV-3\*\* wat via de cinch-bussen (alleen bij Axon) aan de frontzijde van het TV-toestel ingaat. \*\* alleen bij TV-toestellen met cinch-bussen (alleen bij Axon) aan de frontzijde De getroffen instelling blijft automatisch opgeslagen tot de volgende wijziging.Teletekst
Teletekst is een service die het ontvangen van informatie via een in het overzicht (index) vermeld onderwerp mogelijk maakt. Weergaven op het beeldscherm, wijzigingen voor helderheid, contrast en kleur zijn bij teletekst niet mogelijk. Alleen het volume kan worden veranderd.Teletekst oproepen
- Kies een zender die teletekst uitstraalt. - Druk op de teleteksttoets op het beeldscherm verschijnt pagina 100 (index) of de pagina die het laatst werd gelezen voor het uitschakelen.Basisfuncties van teletekst
- RODE toets: paginagewijs terugbladeren. - GROENE toets: paginagewijs vooruitbladeren. - GELE toets: naar volgende hoofdstuk. - BLAUWE toets: naar volgende onderwerp. - Cijfertoetsen: paginanummers numeriek ingeven.Teletekstpagina gericht oproepen
Wanneer de teletekstpagina bekend is, kan het paginanummer met de cijfertoetsen worden ingegeven. Het gekozen paginanummer verschijnt linksboven op het beeldscherm. Het zoekproces wordt gestart. Wanneer de betreffende pagina is gevonden, verschijnt deze op het beeldscherm. Wanneer u tijdens het zoekproces het lopende programma van deze zender wilt zien, dan drukt u op de toets de teletekst verdwijnt maar wordt niet gesloten. Linksboven op het beeldscherm knippert het teken aanwijzing dat het zoekproces nog aan de gang is. Wanneer de pagina is gevonden, wordt het teken door het paginanummer vervangen. Voor het invoegen van de teletekstpagina moet u weer op de toets drukken.Kiezen van een teletekst-meervoudige pagina
Verschillende teletekstpagina's hebben meervoudige pagina's. Het kenmerk voor meervoudige pagina's staat meestal onder de tijd in de vorm van bijv. „1/9“. Voor het oproepen van een meervoudige pagina op de toets drukken en vervolgens het gewenste paginanummer met vier cijfers, bijv. „0004“ ingeven. Wilt u tijdens het zoekproces het lopende programma van deze zender kijken, dan drukt u op de toets. De teletekst verdwijnt maar wordt niet gesloten. Linksboven op het beeldscherm knippert het teken als aanwijzing dat het zoekproces loopt. Wanneer de pagina gevonden is, wordt het teken door het paginanummer vervangen. Om de teletekstpagina in te voegen, drukt u weer op de toets EX.Stoppen van het automatische paginaverwisselen
Er zijn teletekstpagina's met meerdere subpagina's, die met korte tijdafstanden doorgeschakeld worden. - Wanneer u het automatische paginaverwisselen wilt stoppen, drukt u op de stoptoets - Wanneer de volgende tekstpagina weergegeven moet worden, drukt u weer op de stoptoetsDubbele letterhoogte
Door een keer op de toets te drukken, wordt de weergegeven pagina in dubbele letterhoogte weergegeven. Door twee keer op de toets te drukken, wordt het onderste gedeelte weergegeven en door drie keer op de toets te drukken, wordt de pagina weer in normale letterhoogte weergegeven.Verborgen tekst
Verborgen antwoorden op quiz- of raadselvragen worden weergegeven wanneer u op de oplossingstoets ☐? drukt. Door nogmaals op deze toets te drukken, worden de antwoorden weer opgeborgen.Tijdweergave in TV-modus
Wanneer u in de TV-modus op de tijdtoets ☑ drukt, dan verschijnt bij zenders die teletekst uitstralen, de actuele tijd rechtsboven op het beeldscherm. Wanneer u nogmaals op deze toets drukt, verdwijnt de tijd weer. Bij zenders zonder teletekstinformatie verschijnt er in plaats van de tijd een blauwe box. Wanneer u tijdens een tijdweergave een menu oproept, verdwijnt de tijd. Deze verschijnt echter weer zodra u het menu verlaat.Teletekst verlaten

Andere apparatuur aansluiten
Andere resp. AV-apparatuur kan met een Scart-kabel op de Scart I of Scart II bus resp. met een cinch-kabel op de cinch-bussen (alleen bij Axon) worden aangesloten. Een videorecorder kan met een Scart-kabel of antennekabel op het TV-toestel worden aangesloten. Wij raden de aansluiting met een Scart-kabel aan. Deze verbinding garandeert een zo goed mogelijke beeld- en geluidsoverbrenging. De videorecorder moet bij voorkeur op de Scart II bus worden aangesloten. Een videocamera of digitale camera kan met een cinch-kabel of met een Scart-kabel worden aangesloten. Een decoder moet bij voorkeur op de Scart I bus worden aangesloten.Videorecorder aansluiten
Wanneer alleen terrestrische of kabelzenders worden ontvangen: - Videorecorder met een Scart-kabel op de Scart I bus van het TV-toestel aansluiten. - Videorecorder met een antennekabel op de huisantenne en op het TV-toestel aansluiten.Videofilm resp. opname bekijken:
- Voor het bekijken van de videofilm een willekeurig programma-nummer kiezen. - Op de weergavetoets van de videorecorder drukken. - Wanneer de viderorecorder via een volledig aangesloten Scart-kabel op het TV-toestel is aangesloten, wordt er automatisch op „AV-1“ geschakeld. Wanneer er geen volledig aangesloten Scart-kabel beschikbaar is, dan - Toets 400 vaak indrukken totdat AV-1 op het beeldscherm verschijnt.Videocamera aansluiten
Een videocamera wordt in de regel altijd maar voor korte tijd op het TV-toestel aangesloten om bijv. opnamen te bekijken of op een videorecorder over te spelen. Voor dit doel heeft het TV-toestel aan de frontzijde cinch-ingangsbussen (alleen bij Axon). - Videorecorder met een cinch-kabel op de frontbussen van het TV-toestel aansluiten. - Voor het bekijken van de opname een willekeurig programmanummer kiezen en toets av vaak indrukken tot AV-3 op het beeldscherm verschijnt. - Op de weergavetoets van de videocamera drukken.Pay-TV-decoder (bijv. Premiere)
Met dit nevenapparaat kunnen gecodeerd uitgezonden programma's worden gedecodeerd en op het beeldscherm zichtbaar worden gemaakt. - Pay-TV-decoder met een Scart-kabel op de Scart II (alleen bij Axon) bus van het TV-toestel aansluiten. - Voor het bekijken van een gecodeerde uitzending het ingestelde decoder-programmanummer kiezen.Hoofdtelefoon
Hoofdtelefoon op de hoofdtelefoonbus aan de frontzijde (Axon) of aan de rechtervoorkant (Borneo) van het TV-toestel aansluiten.Reinigen
Reinigen van het toestel
Alvorens het toestel te reinigen, moet deze eerst d.m.v. de netschakelaar worden uitgeschakeld! Voor de kast neemt u een zachte droge of enigszins vochtige doek. Gebruik geen scherpe reinigingsmiddelen omdat deze de lak en opschriften zouden kunnen beschadigen. Voor het beeldscherm gebruikt u een vochtige zeem.Fouten en oplossingen
Slechte beeldweergave
• Is de zender correct ingesteld? - Bevindt het TV-toestel of de antenne zich in de onmiddelijke nabijheid van luidsprekers, ongeaarde audioapparatuur of neonverlichting? - Bergen en hoge gebouwen kunnen dubbele of echobeelden veroorzaken. - Controleer of het correcte kanaal (frequentie bij SAT) werd ingegeven en stel het kanaal, indien nodig, d.m.v. fijnafstemming in.Geen beeld
• Is de antenne correct aangesloten? - Is de antennekabel onberispelijk en van geschikte stekkers voorzien? - Zijn de stekkers helemaal in de antennebus geschoven? - Heeft u op de juiste toets van de afstandsbediening gedrukt? Probeert u het nog eens een keer.Geen geluid
Er is geen geluid hoorbaar. - Heeft u het geluid eventueel met de mute-toets (MUTE) uitgeschakeld? - Het geluid is slechts via een luidspreker te horen. Is de balance correct ingesteld? Verzeker u daarvan in het GELUID-menu. Wanneer u geen oplossing vindt, schakelt u het TV-toestel voor enige seconden uit en vervolgens schakelt u het weer aan. Probeer nooit zelf reparaties uit te voeren. Wendt u zich voor reparaties aan uw leverancier.Technische gegevens

 Het toestel mag uitsluitend worden geopend en gerepareerd door een vakman. ATTENTIE! LEVENSGEVAARLIJK. Laat alle reparaties door uw leverancier uitvoeren. Door onvakkundige ingrepen in het toestel kan de garantie komen te vervallen. De door de beeldbuis opgewekte röntgenstralen zijn afdoende afgeschermd (zie opmerking aan de achterkant van het toestel). Het veranderen van de hoogspanning alsmede het op onvakkundige wijze vervangen van de beeldbuis kunnen een verhoging van de röntgenstralen tot gevolg hebben. Een dusdanig gewijzigd toestel voldoet niet meer aan de toelatingseisen en mag niet worden gebruikt.     natural_image
