How to connect an iPhone to the CLARION M109 Hi-Fi system?

Your CLARION M109 marine CD receiver has an auxiliary input (AUX) on the front panel. This is the main method to connect your iPhone and listen to your music through the speakers of the system.

Connection via AUX cable:

Get a male-to-male 3.5 mm jack cable (or a Lightning to 3.5 mm jack adapter if your iPhone does not have a headphone jack).
Plug one end of the cable into the headphone output of your iPhone (or into the Lightning adapter).
Plug the other end into the AUX input on the front panel of the CLARION M109 (3.5 mm jack labeled [AUX]).
On the receiver, press the [SRC] button several times to select the AUX mode. The display should confirm that you are in AUX mode.
Adjust the volume with the [ROTARY] knob on the front panel. You can increase the volume on your iPhone and on the CLARION until you reach the desired sound level.
If the sound is very low or very loud, you can adjust the AUX sensitivity by pressing and holding [DISP] (1 sec.), selecting "AUX SENS" with the arrows, and then turning the rotary knob to choose between "HIGH", "MID" or "LOW".
