How to clean the blender?

Unplug the blender. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth; never immerse in water. Wash the jar, lid, and blade assembly in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. For tough residues, fill jar with warm soapy water and blend for 30 seconds. Do not let the bottom of the blade get wet.

What is the maximum operating time?

The blender can run continuously for a maximum of 1 minute. Exceeding this may damage the unit. Allow it to cool down between uses.

What does the overload protection do?

If the motor overheats, the overload protection automatically stops the blender. Unplug it and let it cool for at least 1 minute before using again.

Can I blend hot liquids?

Use caution when blending hot liquids. The steam can cause ejection. Do not fill the jar more than half full when blending hot ingredients.

How to use the pulse function?

The Pulse setting is ideal for crushing ice or chopping solid ingredients. Press and release the pulse button in short bursts. Start with pulse before selecting a continuous speed.

What to do if the motor stops during operation?

The overload protection may have activated. Unplug the blender and let it rest for at least 1 minute. Plug it back in and resume use. If problem persists, contact an authorized service center.

Can I crush ice with this blender?

Yes, use the Pulse function first to crack the ice cubes, then select a higher speed. Do not overload with too much ice.

How to assemble the jar correctly?

Place the rubber packing into the blade assembly, then put the assembly into the jar support. Attach the jar support to the jar. Secure the lid with measuring cup onto the jar. Place the jar on the motor base and press down until it locks.

How do I register my warranty?

Fill out the warranty card and attach the receipt. Email both to [e-mail] to activate your warranty.

9. The maximum continuous operating time of the blender is one minute only. Do not exceed with the maximum operating time. It may cause damage to the unit.

11. Extreme caution must be exercised when using an appliance containing hot liquid in the blender when blending as it can be ejected out of the appliance due to sudden steaming.

DESCRIPTION OF PARTS:

HOW TO ASSEMBLE:

IMPORTANT: The blender jar and blades are subject to wear during regular use. Always inspect the jar for nicks, chips or cracks. Always inspect blades for broken, bent or loose blades. Avoid using the jar or blades if damaged. Contact the Imarflex Authorized Service Center to obtain evaluation and repair.

Make sure that the blender is unplugged. Place blender base on clean, dry surface to keep foreign particles from being pulled up into motor during operation.

1. Place the rubber packing into the blade assembly and put the assembly into the jar support.
2. Assemble the jar support assembly into the jar.
3. Put the measuring cup into the lid.
4. Secure the lid into the jar and press down.
5. Put the jar on the motor base and press down until securely engaged.

HOW TO USE:

For initial use, wash the jar with blade assembly thoroughly. "Please refer to cleaning and maintenance".

1. Put the jar with blade assembly on the motor base then turn it right to lock.
2. Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
3. Be sure to remove the seeds of the fruits/vegetables if needed.
4. Put the desired mixture.
5. Place the center lid into the hole of the cover. Turn the adjustable Spout Lock "to close the spout.
6. Use PULSE first to crack the ice cube or ice tube and then set the desired speed.
7. Additional ingredients can be added by removing the center lid.
8. Maximum single operation should be up to 1 minute only.
9. After use switch OFF and unplug the unit from the convenience outlet.

Pouring Guide

1. Slide the jar to the left to remove from the base.
2. Select the desired pouring slot, then pour.

Pulse	It is the function to crush the ice.

NOTE:

• Some electric smell may be observed on first use.
• THE UNIT IS EQUIPPED WITH OVERLOAD PROTECTION. IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY STOP WHEN MOTOR REACH THE TEMPERATURE LIMIT. UNPLUG THE UNIT THEN LET IT COOL.
• This unit is designed with a safety feature. If the Plastic Jar is not properly fitted into the Motor Base, this unit will not function.

CAUTION:

- When using cube ice or tube ice, use the pulse speed first before setting to desired speed.

USEFUL TIPS:

• To achieve the best results when pureeing solid ingredients, place small portions through the opening in the lid one by one.
• When mixing solid ingredients, start with a small amount of liquid. Gradually add more liquid through the opening in the lid.
• For stirring solid or very thick liquid ingredients, we recommend that you use the blender in pulse mode to prevent the blades from being stuck.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

Motor Base

1. Unplug the unit from the convenience outlet.
2. Wipe or clean the outside surface with a damp or soft cloth.

NEVER IMMERSE MOTOR BASE IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUID.

1. Thoroughly clean speed selector knob so that it works freely. It will become sticky when in use. Use a damp cloth or sponge to flush and clean the groove around the water shielded switch. You may also lightly spray the surface around the switch with an all-purpose cleaner and work the switch back and forth a few times to loosen any dried residue under switch.
2. Polish with a soft cloth.
3. Always be sure to wring excess water out of cloth or sponge when cleaning around the controls or any electrical part.

Lid/Center Lid

- Wash in warm soapy water. Rinse by a running water and dry. Reassemble before use.

Container and Blade Assembly:

Method #1

- After use, add warm water and a splash of vinegar to blender jar. Turn ON and let the blender work the liquid for about a minute. Pour out, rinse the blender jar well.

Method #2

- Fill the blender jar half way with warm water, add a small amount of liquid dish detergent and turn the unit ON for about 30 seconds. Repeat if needed. Rinse well.

Method #3

- If blender was left sitting until there is dried, crusty food bits inside: fill with warm, soapy water (or vinegar water) and let sit for about 30 to 60 seconds. Empty water to about half and then blend for 30 second intervals until clean.

1. Turn OFF the unit and wait for the blade and motor to stop.
2. Always unplug the unit after every use.
3. Remove the blade assembly by turning it counter-clockwise.
4. Wash the rubber packing and jar support with soap and water.
5. Turn the jar upside down to remove excess water.
6. Wipe the plastic jar and blade with soft cloth to dry. Make sure to reassemble the unit properly before storing it.
7. Never leave food inside the blender jar for a long period of time.
8. Store the blender on a dry cool place.

NOTE: NEVER ALLOW THE BOTTOM OF THE BLADE TO GET WET.
