What is the maximum operation time for the blender?

The maximum single operation time is 1 minute. After that, allow the motor to cool down.

Can I crush ice with this blender?

Yes, use the HIGH speed setting and pulse first until the ice is evenly crushed, then adjust to your desired setting.

What should I do if the blender stops during use?

The blender has overload protection. It will stop automatically if the motor reaches its temperature limit. Unplug and let it cool before using again.

How do I clean the blender jar and blades?

Method 1: Fill the jar with warm water and vinegar, blend on medium speed for 1 minute, then rinse. Method 2: Use warm water and dish detergent, blend on medium for 30 seconds. Method 3: Soak with warm soapy water for stuck food, then blend in intervals. Never immerse the bottom of the jar and blade assembly in water.

Is the motor base dishwasher safe?

No, never immerse the motor base in water or any liquid. Clean it with a damp cloth only.

What voltage does this blender require?

It requires 230 V a.c. 60 Hz. Check your outlet voltage before use.

Can I blend hot ingredients?

The manual does not recommend blending hot ingredients. Use at room temperature or below to avoid damage.

What should I do if the blades get stuck?

Turn off the unit, unplug, and use a stirring stick to free the mixture. Do not use your hands. Then turn on again.

How do I assemble the blender?

Place the plastic jar with blade assembly onto the motor base, press down until secure. Then put the lid on the jar and the center lid into the lid, pressing down to lock.

Is this blender suitable for making purees?

Yes, it is designed for blending, pureeing, and grinding. For solid ingredients, place small portions through the opening in the lid one by one.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Before using the unit, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the convenience outlet (230Va.c.).
3. Do not use two-way socket with other appliance.
4. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged, it should be replaced with the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest Imarflex Authorized Service Center.
5. Do not place the unit near gas stove, electric stove or in a heated oven.
6. Put the unit on flat surfaced; keep it away from the edge of counter to avoid accident.
7. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
8. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
9. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the base in water.
10. Blade is sharp, handle it carefully.
11. Do not put the blade assembly on the base without the plastic jar.

DESCRIPTION OF PARTS

HOW TO ASSEMBLE

IMPORTANT: Your blender jar and blades are subject to wear during normal use. Always inspect the jar for nicks, chips or cracks. Always inspect blades for broken, bent or loose blades. Avoid using the jar or blades if damaged.

Contact the Imarflex Authorized Service Center to obtain evaluation and repair.

Make sure that the blender is unplugged. Place blender base on clean, dry surface to keep foreign particles from being pulled up into motor during operation.

1. Place the Plastic Jar with Blade Assembly on the Motor Base and press down until securely engaged.
2. Put the Center Lid on the Lid.
3. Secure the Lid into the Plastic Jar and press down.

HOW TO USE

1. For initial use, wash plastic jar with blade assembly thoroughly. "Please refer to cleaning and maintenance method".
2. Put the plastic jar with blade assembly on the motor base.
3. Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
4. Be sure to remove the seeds of the fruits/vegetables if needed.
5. Put the desired mixture.
6. Put the lid on the plastic jar and close securely. Place the center lid into the hole of the lid and push down to lock.
7. Please hold the plastic jar for a few seconds as the powerful blender starts. (See Figure A)
8. Turn the unit to HIGH. Switch ON to crush the ice cube or ice tube. Switch the HIGH to Variable Control then set the desired speed.
9. Additional ingredients can be added through opening in the lid.
10. Maximum single operation should be up to 1 minute only.
11. In case some mixture is clogged, turn OFF the unit then use the stirring stick. Turn ON the unit again.
12. After use switch OFF and unplug the unit from the convenience outlet.

NOTE:

• THE UNIT IS EQUIPPED WITH OVERLOAD PROTECTION. IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY STOP WHEN MOTOR REACH THE TEMPERATURE LIMIT. UNPLUG THE UNIT THEN LET IT COOL.
• Some electric smell may be observed on initial use.
• When using cube ice or tube ice, use the HIGH speed setting then use pulse first until the ice is evenly crushed. After which your desired setting can be used.

USEFUL TIPS

• To achieve the best results when pureeing solid ingredients, place small portions through the opening in the lid one by one.
• When mixing solid ingredients, start with a small amount of liquid. Gradually add more liquid through the opening in the lid.
• For stirring solid or very thick liquid ingredients, we recommend that you use the blender in pulse mode to prevent the blades from getting stuck.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Motor Base

1. Unplug the power cord.
2. Wipe or clean the outside surface with a damp or soft cloth.
3. NEVER IMMERSE MOTOR BASE IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUID.
4. Thoroughly clean switches so that they work freely. They will become sticky when in use. Use a damp cloth or sponge to flush and clean the groove around the water shielded switches. You may also lightly spray the surface around the switches with an all-purpose cleaner and work the switches back and forth a few times to loosen any dried residue under switch.
5. Polish with a soft cloth.
6. Always be sure to wring excess water out of cloth or sponge when cleaning around the controls or any electrical part.

Lid

Wash in warm soapy water. Rinse under clean running water and dry. Reassemble before use.

Container and Blade Assembly

Method #1

1. After use, add warm water and a splash of vinegar to blender jar. Set the variable speed to medium speed. Turn ON and let the blender work the liquid for about a minute. Pour out, rinse the blender jar well.

Method #2

1. Fill the blender jar half way (1L) with warm water, add a small amount of liquid dish detergent and turn the unit on MEDIUM speed for about 30 seconds. Repeat if needed. Rinse well. (See Figure B)

Method #3

1. If blender was left sitting until there is dried, crusty food bits inside: fill with warm, soapy water (or vinegar water) and let sit for about 30 to 60 seconds. Empty water to about half and then blend for 30 second intervals until clean.

NOTE: DO NOT ALLOW THE BOTTOM OF THE JAR AND BLADE BE IMMERSE IN WATER OR SPLASHED BY ANY LIQUID TO AVOID THE BLADE ASSEMBLY TO GET STUCK.
