Starting up

WARNING!

Fire risk!

Do not cover the connected Receiver (mains connection plug), e.g. with fabric, paper or plastic.

NOTE Risk of damage!

Only connect the Receiver (mains connection plug) if the mains voltage of the power socket matches the data on the nameplate.

Connect the Receiver only to an easily accessible socket, so that you can disconnect it from the mains quickly in the event of a fault.

Installation

Before you install the Transmitter in the planned place, make sure that it functions properly. The Transmitter and Receiver must be connected first if necessary (radio connection).

- Connect the Receiver to the planned power socket.

- Press the Bell button on the Transmitter:

No signal at the receiver? -> Keep Melody button 1 pressed for approx. 3 seconds until 2 short sounds can be heard.

Press the Bell button 2 briefly within 30 seconds.

- Position the Transmitter in the planned place and press the Bell button to make sure that the Receiver receives the signal from the transmitter.

The distance may be too large, or the signal is disrupted by metal objects. In this case, you can remove the reception by moving the Transmitter or Receiver.

Disconnecting the connection between the Receiver and Transmitter

If you want to disconnect the Transmitter (doorbell) from the Receiver, press the Melody button1 for approx. 10 seconds. After 2 short sounds can be heard for the second time, the radio connection no longer exists.

i With the help of the foam, the Transmitter (doorbell) can be connected horizontally or vertically to a smooth surface. It can then be removed from the mounting plate, if necessary, by pushing in the direction of the labelling field.

⚠ WARNING! Risk of electric shock! Before installing, make sure that there are no water pipes or power cables in the area of the drillholes!

NOTE

Risk of damage!

DIY skills and tools are required for the permanent installation. Contact an experienced fitter if necessary.

  • Push the mounting plate in the direction of the Bell button to remove it from the back of the Transmitter.
  • Use a screwdriver, for example, to clear the screw holes provided.
  • Position the mounting plate in the planned place and mark the drilling points.
  • Use a 6 mm drill bit to drill holes 35 mm deep.
  • Insert the wall plugs and screw on the mounting plate.

Use the elongated screw retainer of the mounting plate to align the plate horizontally or vertically before tightening the screw if the drilled holes are not exactly horizontal or vertical.
- Position the Transmitter on the mounting plate and push it in the direction of the Bell button.

The Receiver has 18 melodies to choose from as a signal sound and a signal light. The sound volume can be set to 4 levels.

Setting the volume

Press the Volume button 3 repeatedly to increase the signal volume in 4 levels.

Setting the melody

Press the Melody button 1 repeatedly to select the required signal melody (18 melodies).

Setting the signal type

You can choose between the following with the position of the selector switch 4:

- melody signal only (switch in top position), - light signal only (switch in middle position),

- melody with light signal (switch in bottom position).

Do not use abrasive, solvent, or sharp-edged tools!

Clean the product with a slightly dampened cloth and a mild washing up liquid.

Leave the product to properly dry and ideally store it in its original packaging.
