How do I start recording?

Press the power button for 2 seconds. The LED will blink and recording begins automatically. To stop, press the button again.

How do I charge the camera?

Connect the included USB cable to a USB power source. The charging LED will turn red and turn off when fully charged.

What memory card is compatible?

Use a MicroSD card up to 32 GB, formatted in FAT32. Class 10 or higher is recommended.

How do I transfer videos to my computer?

Connect the camera to your computer via USB. The camera acts as a mass storage device. Files are located in the DCIM folder.

Can I use the camera while charging?

Yes, you can record while connected to a USB power source, but it may affect battery lifespan.

How do I enable motion detection?

Set the mode switch to Motion Detection. The camera will record only when movement is detected in its field of view.

The camera is not turning on. What should I do?

First, charge the battery for at least 30 minutes. If still unresponsive, reset by inserting a paper clip into the reset hole.

Create a text file named TIMESET.TXT on the MicroSD card with the format: YYYY.MM.DD HH:MM:SS. Insert the card and power on.

Before you start to shot/record

1. Unfold your Smoovie

Thank you for buying the Smoovie - a stabiliser that helps you create smoother videos and movies. For best results practise, practices, practise.

Smooth hand motions work best with any stabiliser - starting and stopping actions should be slow and gradual.

2. Insert the smartphone

Raise the grab to fit the smartphone.

Adjust the handle to the angle that feels most comfortable. The handle will click to the new position.

For best results, raise the balance weight until the Smoovie is just in balance. Note the position on the scale for next time use.

3. Get balance

Move your smartphone back and forward to get the balance, you can also tilt your smartphone to the angle you require. (Note: Aligning vertically straight is best)
