How do I pair the HBH-602 with my phone?

Ensure the headset is charged. Turn on the headset and hold the answer button until the LED flashes blue and red. Then search for the device on your phone (name: HBH-602) and enter PIN 0000 if prompted.

What is the battery life of the HBH-602?

The battery provides up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time. Charging takes about 2 hours.

How do I charge the headset?

Connect the supplied charger to the headset's charging port. The LED turns red while charging and green when fully charged.

Why won't my headset connect?

Make sure the headset is in pairing mode (flashing blue/red). Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and that the headset is not connected to another device. Reset if necessary.

How do I reset the HBH-602?

To reset, place the headset in pairing mode (hold answer button until LED flashes blue/red), then press and hold both volume buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. The LED will flash red and turn off to indicate reset.

Can I use the headset with two phones?

The HBH-602 supports multipoint connection, allowing it to connect to two devices simultaneously. Pair each device separately, then reconnect as needed.

What does the LED indicator mean?

Solid red: charging. Green: fully charged. Flashing blue: connected/standby. Alternating blue/red: pairing mode. Flashing red: low battery.

How do I adjust the volume?

Use the volume rocker on the side of the headset. Press the top to increase volume, bottom to decrease.

Can I replace the battery?

The battery is built-in and not user-replaceable. If the battery fails, please contact Sony Ericsson support for repair or replacement.

Is the headset water-resistant?

The HBH-602 is not water-resistant. Avoid exposure to rain, sweat, or moisture to prevent damage.

Adding the headset to the phone

Prepare your phone according to the phone's user guide on adding a Bluetooth device. The headset passkey is 0000.

When you add the headset to the list of devices in the phone, the headset will recognize the phone automatically when it is turned on.

You only need to add the headset to the phone once. If you want to use the headset with a new phone, you need to add it to that phone. (See page 26.)

No connection to phone

Make sure that the headset is charged and within range of the phone. The settings in the phone may not be correct. Check or redo the settings in the phone for adding a Bluetooth device.

The headset is automatically switched off

- The battery is too low. The indicator light on the headset flashes red and you hear a low beep.

- The headset switches off if you do not add it to the phone within 10 minutes.
