Congratulations on your purchase of an Angler Speed Ring!

This speed ring allows you to attach most major brands of softboxes to a strobe flash head quickly and easily. There are a variety of speed rings to fit most popular brands of strobes.

The outer rotating ring allows you to rotate the softbox 360°, and the ring's self-locking feature holds the softbox in whatever position suits your needs. The indexed flex rod holes make it easy to attach any type of softbox to the speed ring.

The Angler Speed Ring has all-metal construction for years of heavy-duty performance. The outer rotating ring is solid cast aluminum with precision machined rod holes for smooth assembly. The outer rotating ring also features two standard 3/8" tapped rod holes that can be used to adapt the speed ring to a variety of other products.

The indexed flex rod holes are a guide to assembling a variety of differently shaped softboxes: rectangular, square, strip (long, thin shape), narrow strip (longer, thinner shape), and octagonal.

• The flex rod holes labeled “A” are used when assembling a square or rectangular softbox.
• The holes labeled “B” are for a very narrow strip softbox.
• The holes labeled “C” are for a normal strip softbox.
• The holes labeled “8” are for assembling an octagonal softbox. For assembling the softbox, see the manufacturer’s instructions.

Note: Rubber feet on the tightening screws of the 7464-DYN speed ring may become overheated and melt when used with an Omni-light or any other continuous hot light. Remove the feet before use to prevent damage.

One Year Limited Warranty

This Angler product is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date or thirty (30) days after replacement, whichever occurs later. The warranty provider's responsibility with respect to this limited warranty shall be limited solely to repair or replacement, at the provider's discretion, of any product that fails during normal use of this product in its intended manner and in its intended environment. Inoperability of the product or part(s) shall be determined by the warranty provider. If the product has been discontinued, the warranty provider reserves the right to replace it with a model of equivalent quality and function.
