The Power LED lights blue when power is supplied via the USB host connection. The Link LED lights green when a USB link is established. The Host LED lights green when the device is properly enumerated on the host computer. The Activity LED lights yellow when data activity is detected.
How is the KDS-USB2-EN powered?
The encoder is powered solely by the USB host port when connected to a computer. No external power adapter is required for the encoder.
Can I connect multiple encoders to one decoder?
Yes, you can map multiple KDS-USB2-EN encoders to a single KDS-USB2-DEC decoder using Kramer Control software.
What is included in the box?
The package includes the KDS-USB2-EN encoder, a quick start guide, and a USB 2.0 cable (A male to B male). Note: The power adapter is only included with the decoder.
How far can I extend USB signals using this device?
